Machen Sie sich bereit für den karibischen Traumurlaub Ihres Lebens! Dieses direkt am Sand gelegene Strandhotel im Erdgeschoss ist ringsum vom türkisfarbenen Meer umgeben und eine ganz besondere Luxuseinheit! Unserer Einschätzung nach war es die beste Unterkunft im The Retreat, da es auf beiden Seiten Strände gibt und der Blick von allen Wohnbereichen auf das Erdgeschoss nur ein paar Schritte vom Sand entfernt ist. (Die meisten anderen Einheiten haben seitlichen Blick und sind nicht ebenerdig zum Strand und sind angebaut oder über anderen Eigentumswohnungen - die Lage und Sauberkeit ist etwas ganz Besonderes!)

Diese Wohnung in North Side liegt am Strand. Die schöne Natur der Region erlebst du hier: Mastic Trail, nördlicher Ausgangspunkt und Mastic Trail, südlicher Ausgangspunkt. Wenn du dagegen eher kulturell interessiert bist, ist Folgendes empfehlenswert: Boddentown Art Shop und Cayman Maritime Treasure Museum. Ebenfalls einen Besuch wert sind diese beiden Highlights: Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park und Cayman Crazy Golfing Mini Golf. Beim Jetskifahren, beim Kajakfahren und beim Schnorcheln kannst du die umliegende Wasserwelt erkunden oder aber du stürzt dich beim Radfahren ganz in der Nähe in ein Abenteuer mit festem Boden unter den Füßen.

Fantastic Rum Point Vacation!

Fantastic view, quiet location, great beach access to rum, plenty of room. Katrina and Matt were super responsive from providing great pre-trip information along with helping us with a couple of things while we were there. Favorite feature was the screened in lanai, I sat there every morning reading my book, enjoying the view and the breeze. The place is well stocked with everything from beach towels to kitchen basics and lots of snorkel and beach stuff. We had a wonderful trip and this place was a perfect fit!

First time, great time!

Quiet beach relaxation only feet from the door. Fun options for dining and activities nearby. The host’s emailed recommendations were fantastic, especially as it pertains to viewing sea life while snorkeling. The property was extremely clean, and inviting. With laundry available, I was way over packed. Is a bit of a drive from George Town and the airport, but worth it. Looking forward to going back again.

Love rum point for snorkeling

The weather was really windy this year which is due to going in November I believe. Since we go primarily to drift snorkel from the retreat we won’t go back in November, but the weather certainly isn’t the condo’s fault! We will be back next year in January hopefully!

Rum Point Fall Getaway

We had an absolutely magical stay here in Rum Point, a great location away from the bustle and busyness of the George Town side of the island. We were in the ocean every day, eating fish drinking rum every night. We swam with stingrays, sat among starfish, and ran our hands through the otherworldly bioluminescent waters of the nearby bay. Our time here could not have been more tranquil and refreshing -- we were torn leaving such a high (and accurate) rating for fear that others will learn about this gem of a home.

Amazing Island Condo, Perfect Location - Beware Hurricane Season

We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible island condo in Grand Cayman, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and easy access to pristine beaches. The condo itself is beautifully appointed, with modern amenities, comfortable furnishings, and everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The accommodations were top-notch, providing all the comforts of home with the added luxury of being in a tropical paradise. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The living area was spacious and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. However, one important thing to note is to always check the weather during hurricane season before traveling. Unfortunately, we had to evacuate just two days after our arrival due to an approaching hurricane. This led to some challenges in finding a flight off the island, which added stress to our otherwise wonderful vacation. Despite this hiccup, we still highly recommend this condo for its prime location and fantastic accommodations. Just be sure to keep an eye on the weather forecasts if you plan to visit during hurricane season. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would love to return under better circumstances!

Amazing Retreat!

We've been to GCM many times but this was our first stay on the North Side. The sunsets are stunning and became the event of the day for us. We walked next door to Rum Point for a cocktail or snack. The restaurant is remodeled and beautiful. The GM Cory was so welcoming and took great care of us. We rented a kayak for the week and spent a ton of time paddling around. The snorkeling was fantastic. There is sea grass in the shallows as you wade out, it isn't the soft sand of SMB but it is quiet and beautiful and the private beach is great. We drove to Starfish and had a fun afternoon. We could have walked but it was too hot. The condo is perfect. Views from everywhere you turn. The little yard out front was perfect for the kayak and some extra privacy. The whole complex is very quiet and peaceful. We found everything we needed in the condo and it was super clean. The layout was fantastic for us a our pre-teen. There were plenty of beach towels, and we just popped them in the dryer at the end of the day. The only drawback we found is the lack of water pressure in the showers but that is an island thing I believe. If you bring a flashlight you can find crabs in the bushes at night. We shopped at Kirk's in town after we landed because we like the food and the variety there. Chisholm's close to the condo came in handy for a few things we needed and beer throughout the week. We will definitely be back and stay at Retreat 23!

Amazing Views

The VIEWS!! This condo is amazing and just as pictured. Literally steps from the beach and Rum Point Club. Very short drive to Kaibo and Star Fish Point which should be on anyone’s todo list. The owner Katrina will send you an email with all the details prior to your stay that give you all you need for a great vacation. We are already planning our return trip. Beautiful place!

Our week here was fabulous! This place is amazing and beautiful! It had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and this place is perfect. It had plenty of space. Our luggage was lost on the way and I was glad there were beach towels to use and a washer/dryer. The owner was quick to respond with questions. We would definitely stay here again, it was sad to have to leave.

Great stay on the laid back side of the island

We have always stayed at Morritts but decided to stay closer to Rum Point this trip. You can’t get any closer than The Retreat and we are so glad we found this gem. The condo was so clean and decorated so pretty. It had every comfort of home and have zero complaints. There is a restaurant next door, close grocery store and close to starfish point. We only drove to Georgetown one day to let our daughter do some touristy things but relaxed on the North End for the rest of our stay. Red Sail Sports picks you up next door at the Rum Point dock for boat outings which is really nice to not have to drive to meet them. It is a must stay!!!!!

Perfect Beach Vacation

Winter break

We had a fantastic week at Rum Point with our kids ages 10 and 12. The unit was perfect with everything in the kitchen and a good nonstick pan, which is rare in a rental! We loved the location on the point and the convenience of the ground floor unit. We snorkeled right off the beach and were amazed to see turtles, rays, and even a couple of nurse sharks and an eel! The neighbors were friendly and made great conversation, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the sunsets every night. We’d love to stay here again!

Perfectly Peaceful

Our family enjoyed a beautiful week at Retreat at Rum Point. The condo has everything you need and we love the peace of this part of the island. Dinners at Kaibo and Upstairs were incredible and frozen drinks from Rum Point or the blender in the kitchen were delicious. We loved being able to snorkel right out the screen door! We will book again!

Amazing relaxing holiday

We stayed at the retreat condo. It was low season and we were the only ones here more or less. For us this was perfect. Rum point is 40 mins from George Town but very close to Kaibo restaurant where many activities start from and where we had a super lunch. We enjoyed the Sting Ray sand bar visit immensely from kaibo beach and seeing the blue iguanas at the Queen Elizabeth 2 botanic gardens which is not far. The crystal caves visit and the bioluminescence kayak trip where all good. High class apartment with everything for cooking and very comfortable. Can’t fault it really. We love cooking and the kitchen has everything you need . Evening meals on our own with a very calming view on the sea front. Top tip Bring your own wine, tonic and gin as alcohol is expensive. Everything is available here but pricey. Very safe place and internet is really fast. Thanks Katrina - you have a wonderful apartment and we are so happy we finally made it. Definitely recommend it

Great location! Clean beautiful view. Quiet. Beautiful Rum Point next door. Great snorkeling straight out from condo especially good by the marine buoy out about 200 yards.. Friendly people. Felt very safe. Condo well furnished with beach toys, towels, kitchen utinsels.

Great location! Had a fabulous time!

Stayed 10 nights for our Anniversary Celebration. Condo was clean and you couldn't ask for a better location. Pretty much had our own "private beach" but for the occasional "passers by". All the people we met were really nice, had a few cocktails together and got to know them a bit while we were there. Was fun watching the crab races on the lawn every morning from the patio. We had everything we needed from kitchen gadgets, beach towels and linens. The washer and dryer came in handy since we had a 10 night stay. Snorkeling was great just steps away from the condo. Being right near the pier was so convenient for our stingray/snorkel tour on the beautiful sail boat booked right next door at Red Sail Sports! Bio-luminescent Bay Electric Boat tour also just steps away booked through Cayman Kayaks. Starfish Point just a short drive up the road near Kaibo Beach Club. The staff at the restaurants were fabulous. It was so convenient to walk just a few yards to grab a bite to eat on the beach for lunch. We ate at the restaurant several times in the evening. Again, the service was great and the food was really good. The weather was perfect and no bugs in sight. The sun sets were gorgeous. Thanks so much Katrina and Matt for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Great week

2 couples spent a week at this condo beginning of January. Very easy process from beginning. Plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen. Beach is right out the front door. Over the edge n Kaibo bbq on Tuesday were our favorite places to eat. Rum Point right next door is nice. Their restaurant is very overpriced. Things are not cheap on GC, but we were not impressed with what we got for the price. Rented a car n was very easy to drive around island. Traveled the entire island. Grocery stores on way from airport. We cooked a few dinners and made breakfast every morning but 1. Katrina n Matt are great to work with n we would recommend their place to anyone.

One of the only units with views from almost every room and no renter above or below, only behind us! At the tip of two beaches! Rum Point is off the beaten path and offers breathtaking turquoise waters all around. This unit's location is exquisite and beach views on two sides. Just open the door and you're at the beach! Our guests come back year after year and book early because we fill up! The best location in Grand Cayman. NO CRUISE SHIP VIEWS EVER IN RUM POINT! It's quiet, remote and dreamy! Not your touristy destination!
