We are unsure of why you think we are less than friendly and not helpful since we did not ever hear from you during your stay. We can only assist guests when they call on us to help them. Were you referring to someone on site at the condo complex? Upon checking in, we want all of our guests to feel welcomed and at first appearance know that their unit has been properly cleaned and sanitized. We really wish we had heard from you upon arrival so that we could have addressed any issues you encountered in the unit. Cindi, This was not the situation at all. We first contacted you regarding the issue with your booking on May 11th, which is still not a long time before arrival, but it was as soon as the matter was brought to our attention. The property you originally booked was no longer available due to a private matter, and we shared as many details with you as we could. You were understanding of the situation over the phone and declined the offer of cancellation and a full refund, but asked that I email you the comparable properties as you wished to see pictures of each unit. You chose the 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom unit and accepted it as comparable although it was an upgrade. I explained to you that Tropical Winds (comparable unit) did not offer indoor amenities like Crystal Shores and you said that was not an issue. We sent you the arrival details, you checked in and we heard nothing from you until the day before your departure. You contacted us regarding how awful your accommodations were and how you thought the unit needed to be updated. In reading the details of our reply, we hope you can recall how terribly sorry we were for the situation and that you were put in a unit that would've costed at least $600.00 more for the week than what you originally paid for the other unit that was no longer available. Mary, We are very surprised and saddened by your negative review of your stay with us in this amazing unit. The only communication we had from you was the day you departed, when you text our office line to mention these items and to let us know how horrible the cleaning was. These things should've been brought to our attention immediately upon arrival so we could help get these items addressed during your stay-not when you left and had vacated the property! How could we help you to resolve the issues or make your stay more enjoyable? You did send us videos and photos of the items mentioned in this review once you departed the unit and had occupied the property for 3 nights. We met with the housekeeping staff that handled the cleaning prior to your arrival and have come to the conclusion that everything was wiped down, but we determined the product used to clean the surfaces you mentioned being greasy, was the residue left from the cleaning products. We are terribly sorry for this situation and hate that you took it upon yourself to clean the areas without reaching out to us for assistance. We also could've brought you any items you were missing, such as the potholders for the kitchen. The arrival information which provided you with a code for entry tells you all you need to know regarding a 2nd parking pass. You were to let our office know that you needed an additional pass prior to arrival so that we could have it inside the unit for you. We are terribly sorry if you overlooked this information that was provided to you prior to your arrival. We hope that despite the issues you mentioned, that you enjoyed spending time on the beach and utilizing the awesome amenties provided with this unit. We wish you the best and hope you will communicate issues upon arrival to whomever you choose to book with in the future so we/they can properly assist you with making your stay most enjoyable and all that it should be. Rhonda, I had the phones the day you arrived and I handled these issues myself. I brought you a second parking pass and spoke to you and your nice husband, took photos of 2 issues that you had with the unit and also discussed the designated parking space. As I recall, I also walked around the complex to help locate the parking space. We cannot control when other guests park in a space not provided for them, however your husband also stated that it was more convenient for him to park on the upper deck, which does NOT offer designated parking spaces. The 2 housekeeping issues you had complaints about were readily corrected and you even told our staff what a great job they did when they came to correct the issues. We are sorry that these minor issues left you feeling like you will never return to this unit. We truly are sorry you feel that way. We are very hopeful that despite the few minor issues, you were able to enjoy the endless views of the Gulf of Mexico this unit provides and quality family time during your stay.
