The location was great, the staff was very attentive. The condo was good. It is as others have said not brand new, but it was cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, plenty of linens. Loved the provided shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, mounted on shower wall in regular sized dispensers, not those wasteful small plastic things so many hotels provide. Great having bus passes and a bus that picks up on site. Sauna great, hot tub and pool were fun places to visit with other guests. Beautiful flowers everywhere. We can't wait to return!

Nice property. One downside of a working fireplace is a little smoky odor. And the toaster needs replacing (temp control was wonky). But no other issues and we very much enjoyed the stay.

The Good: The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was convenient to the downtown and the mountains for skiing. The unit was cleaned daily. the kitchen as appropriately supplied for cooking easy meals. The water was hot. The hot tub had a lovely view. The sauna was good.Not so good: the first unit assigned was filled with smoke, not smoke detector going off but we were quickly assigned to a different unit. The unit was small and only has very small windows (not much light) the carpet and furniture was stained and very old. The beds were very soft and old. The unit had a fire place but we chose not to use it because the unit smelled smokey all 6 days we were there. The parking was a hassle and we often had to carry our ski gear to the car a distance away because we could not park in front/ or close of our unit. There were 2 washers and dryers but 2 of them were out of order. The shower in the mens locker room was out of order. It appears this property could use a good bit of maintenance and updating.

Great Location - Property Needs Work

Location was amazing & we loved the hot pools & shuttle access. The property seems old & is in need of repairs as some things seemed run down (e.g., both laundry washing machines were broken; we had an issue with a bathroom appliance). The stay here is great as long as you don’t need anything!

Beautiful Banff Getaway

The property was so beautiful and conveniently located. The room had just about everything we needed. No DVD player as listed on VRBO, but it was no worry. The hot pools were amazing, although the number of little kids splashing around without supervision was frustrating at times. Overall a very enjoyably experience and stay! frustrating.

convenient and relaxed basecamp

Buddy and I went snowboarding for four days straight at the surrounding resorts, while our other two friends went for different hikes and in-town events each day. This was a great spot to start our days from, relax in the afternoons, and cook dinner together in the evenings. Will return.

Close to town of Banff and hiking

We loved the town of Banff and the beautiful hikes. This condo was also convenient for a 42 minute drive to lake Louise and Morane Lake. Both offered gorgeous hiking. Check rules about driving and parking in these 2 spots and make arrangements before heading out. Simple condo was fine, but not where we wanted to hang out with the gorgeous surroundings and charming town. Their hot tub was not quite warm enough for our cool days we stayed. Solid place to stay in beautiful setting, and very nice staff.

Pros: Free Parking; Free firewood if available; house keeping daily for towels.Cons: Parking is non existence near your unit unless you come back early from your adventures. Firewood was not available for 4 out the 5 days we were there. Downstairs units are very dark. 1-Bedroom units are very small, the queen bed takes up most of the room. The bathroom no space to place your toothbrush. Room had smell of wood burning smoke. Downstairs are very noisy from the upstairs guests. Hot tub jets were not working, but you could just sit in hot water. A little deceiving that the room amenities mention washer and dryer but no mention that it is pay on site and not in the room.Will not recommend staying

As advertised

The location and property were just fine - I think we were recently spoiled staying at a rather fancy place in Victoria so we were just coming off that - not fair to compare. Banff was beautiful and it was great taking the bus into town and back so easily.. great hiking the Tunnel Mountain hike. Resort staff were very nice and friendly. Our only issue was our neighbors upstairs made lots of noise seeming just walking/running around but luckily got quiet by midnight each night 😊

Heartland in Banff

My wife and I recently became addicted to the Heartland Series on Netflix and had to go find out if it really existed. It does. We spent 8 days in Banff and stayed at The Hidden Ridge Resorts. Fantastic accommodations and service could not have been better. Friendly people and fantastic scenery right from our balcony. Convenient from the reservation to the check out. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Would be a great place for a larger group. Thanks to all that help make a break from the real world possible. Tim and Debbie Healy from Texas City Texas USA

Beautiful Location

Their property is beautiful and the location is great. The check in process was easy and they had everything you needed to make a little fire. We stayed in a downstairs apartment and I will say that you can hear absolutely everything that is going on above you. I don’t think the people upstairs were being excessively loud but I could hear every time they flushed their toilet or got up and walked around. I could hear them talking. This is out of the owners control but something you should know ahead of time, especially if you are a light sleeper like me. There is also no assigned parking, not a problem if you get there early but if you plan on leaving to go out later it is kind of annoying. They do have underground parking so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot just about finding a spot close to your place to unload everything. The check out process was simple and the ladies at the front desk were very nice.

Banff resort

Very much enjoyed the stay, hot pools and sauna were great. Right next to the bus stop which is very convenient w free bus passes from the resort. Located right next to the tunnel mountain campground. Enjoyed the porch, loft, and wood burning fireplace w wood provided. Check in was great and staff was pleasant (cleaning staff especially attentive and helpful). Cons: lack of kitchen utensils (no cutting board, oil, paper towels, pan to bake with) which was disappointing as a full kitchen was advertised but not stocked Units themselves in need of renovation. Huge cold draft coming through the windows, refrigerator made a loud banging noise throughout day and night, stovetop burners barely functioned internet was almost nonexistent in the unit. Disappointing seeing we were traveling internationally and depended on WiFi for trip planning and for working remotely. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here but some things I would have liked to know before reserving. Worth the stay for the sauna and hot pool and taking the bus right into town from the resort. I would recommend but plan to bring a couple things to cook with and don’t depend on the WiFi.

Uriges Design aus den 80ern

Uriges Design heißt altmodisch. Die Einrichtung stammt vermutlich aus den 80ern... Die Betten waren komplett durchgelegen und sorgten anfangs für Rückenschmerzen. Wir waren zu viert, das Zimmer aber nur für zwei eingedeckt - klappsofa selbst aufbauen. Die Gäste aus den umliegenden Räumen hat man immer gehört. Ob Duschen oder knarrende Dielen oder einfach laute Gespräche. Beim benutzen des Föhns ist die Sicherung rausgeflogen und wurde zeitnah repariert. Was dieses Hotel auszeichnet ist der Pool, der abends voll mit betrunkenen Gästen ist, aber darüber kann man hinwegsehen - die Aussicht ist der Hammer. Der Service war gut. Hilfsbereit und man konnte Bärenspray leihen. Die Anbindung an Stadt und Wanderrouten ist optimal. Preis / Leistung , teuer und unruhige Nächte Nicht nochmal

Die Betten wurden vor kurzem ausgetauscht, Es tut uns leid, dass Sie die als unbequem empfunden haben. Es tut uns auch leid zu hören, dass das Schlafsofa nicht für Sie gemacht wurde. Dies ist normalerweise der Fall. Das Personal in der Unterkunft hätte Ihnen gerne weiterhelfen können. Das Trinken im Pool ist verboten, daher sind wir alarmiert zu hören, dass dort Gäste Alkohol getrunken haben. Wir werden das Management darüber informieren, um dies in Zukunft zu verhindern. Es tut uns wieder einmal leid, dass Sie diesmal keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht haben. Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback.

Nice size unit, a little dated but clean. Some of the bathroom towels were quite old with stains, probably clean, but not very appealing. The free wood provided by the resort did not burn, it only smoked - set off the fire alarm several times, finally gave up on it. Biggest issue was the noise from above. I don't think the family above did anything other than normal activity, but it is really loud in this unit.
