Kellerwohnung fast ohne Fenster

Zuerst das positive: zentral, sehr nettes Nachbarschaft, die Küche ist klein aber in sehr gutem Zustand , Bodenbelag in allen Zimmern außer Schlafzimmer Was könnte besser sein Schlafzimmer und Bad ohne Fenster. Schlafzimmer riecht sehr komisch, Teppich ist dreckig und alt, Bett ist sehr hart. Ich konnte sehr schlecht schlafen. Wohnzimmer ist ok, aber es gibt nur 2 Betten da, wo man drauf sitzen/ liegen kann. Esszimmer ungemütlich. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht empfehlen. Preis/Leistung passt auch nicht.

Tolle Ferienwoche in London

Wir, Familie mit 2 Kindern 12 + 17, verbrachten eine schöne Ferienwoche in London. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer gepflegten Sackgasse. Wir waren von der Lage (Nähe U-Bahnstation Notting Hill Gate) begeistert, da man von dieser Station mit mehreren U-Bahnlinien die Stadt erkunden kann. Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und befindet sich im Souterrain (dadurch eher dunkel). Der Eingang war etwas unaufgeräumt und der angrenzende Abfall-Lagerraum vor der Eingangstüre war nicht sehr einladend. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es waren auch reichlich Badetücher vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist insgesamt gut ausgestattet und sauber. Bei der Einrichtung fehlte es teilweise an den Details (Bilderrahmen ohne Bild aufgehängt). Zum Teil hatte es viele (unnütze) Sachen, wie zum Beispiel drei Bügeleisen und diverse Vasen, etc. Der Kontakt mit Edem verlief einwandfrei. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis, die Lage und die Wohnungsgrösse sind top.

Absolute top Lage, sympatische Souterrain - Altbauwohnung

Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche in dieser geräumigen Altbauwohnung im Souterrain eines schönen Reihenhauses. Die Lage nahe von Park, U-Bahn und Bus ist absolut top! Auch verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat es in der Nähe. Mit Fernunterstützung von Edem konnten wir unser Daheim auf Zeit einnehmen. Natürlich handelt es sich um eine Altbauwohnung, da sollte man auch eine gesprungene Keramikplatte oder ein nicht mehr ganz kompletter Küchenboden in Kauf nehmen - finden wir... Den Backofen haben wir zum Laufen gebracht, Gradeinstellung war Glücksache;-) Es hatte ausreichend Bettwäsche und Badetücher; Küchen- und Abwaschtücher haben wir selber mitgebracht und auch gebraucht. Es gibt insgesamt 3 Fenster, bei den Schlafzimmern gehen diese gegen einen sehr kleinen Innenhof. Eine Nacht waren die Nachbarn über uns sehr laut, ansonsten war es okay. Sollten wir wieder einmal nach London kommen, würden wir diese Wohnung wieder mieten.

Good stay

Pros: Excellent communication and helpfulness. Owner was very kind. The location is perfect, especially for kids and proximity to Diana Memorial Playground. Plenty of restaurants, etc within a block. Cons: the space is way too cluttered with stuff and furniture that is too big for the space. It didn’t feel clean because there is so much clutter. Huge glass table and cabinets full of stemmed glassware, etc we were worried about breaking things. The pictures show a way more streamlined version of the space. The stairs down to the basement unit were better than some, but not ideal for elderly people. Overall, it is a good price to sleep 8 people in a safe neighborhood of London. The space could be so much better without all of the clutter though.

La localisation de ce bien est parfaite et au calme. Cependant, le fait qu'il soit en souplex devrait être mentionné dans le texte d annonce. L espace est agréable mais la cuisine manque de rangement...L hôte est très à l écoute et parle français parfaitement !

Apartment was pretty much exactly as described. For our family of 5 grown-ups for 9 nights there was plenty of sleeping space. There was a clothes washer and dishwasher, and all the kitchen wares you could need. I don't usually like staying in basement rentals because of the noise above, but that really wasn't a problem here. As others have pointed out, the place could use refurbishment, but that would be the only thing I could pick on. You're simply not going to find a better value for the location and some scuffs on the walls don't really bother us. It's about a 5 minute walk to Notting Hill Gate tube station and buses are even closer. We were met on arrival for a quick tour and the keys. Workers needed to come in a couple of times to address a leak and some cleanup (we arrived during a pretty big storm) and the communication was outstanding. The couple of times I asked a question, I got a very quick response. We all agreed it was a great choice and wouldn't hesitate at all to stay here again.

Appartement spacieux, fonctionnel et bien situé

Appartement loué pour un séjour long en famille avec 8 personnes (6 adultes et deux enfants en bas âge). Le logement est bien situé, que ce soit par rapport aux commodités, moyens de transports, parc pour enfants (à 5 min), etc. il est spacieux et permet à tout le monde d'avoir un espace pour ranger ses affaires. Les équipements proposés sont nombreux et permettent de palier à pas mal de situations : lit bébé, chaise haute, linge de maison / bain, vaisselle, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, etc. Les échanges avec notre hôte ont été de qualité, avec des indications pour nous faciliter la vie et une grande réactivité en cas de soucis. En bref, nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

First Trip to London

What you see is what you get with this property. This apartment is a good choice for a couple or maybe small family (3 people) visiting London. The apartment is a nice size and is easy to navigate around. We found more personal items in the apartment than the pictures noted, but none of the items were in the way. The apartment is located near excellent dining options, and close to above ground and underground transportation options - making eating and getting around the city a breeze.

Super logement !

Nous sommes une famille de 8 personnes (5 adultes et 3 enfants) et le logement a totalement repondu à nos attentes (petits et grands) ! Il est spacieux, propre et très bien équipé. Sa situation est idéale pour visiter Londres avec une station de metro à 4min à pied. Le quartier est calme et il y a de nombreux restaurants, fast food, super marchés. Très bons échanges avec le propriétaire. Tout est réuni pour passer un super sejour !

Neighborhood was great to stay in. The apartment was good for 6 adults but one bathroom is just ok. We were not really satisfied with the cleanliness. One of us had dust allergies that came to surface because of this.

Pictures are deceiving

The best thing about this apartment is the location. Communication was not great as I had to ask multiple times for information to find the apartment and how to get in. But the worst part was the owner over booked and we could not check in on our original date. Which we were not told until 4 days before arriving and leaving us to scramble to find a hotel for our first night. The Queen had just died and hotel prices were high. The pictures are not a true representation of this apartment. There is so much clutter it feels like the owner’s storage unit. There are no arm chairs in the living room. Instead, there are 2 fold down couches that can be beds. There are 2 chairs but they are so low to the ground they are hard to get out of if you are over 5 feet tall. (Especially after a day of walking through the city.) And they are very much a part of the clutter. We didn’t need 2 beds in the living room so put one back as a couch. It too is very low to the ground. Then there is the cleanliness issue. Overall the apartment is clean in the most used areas but one of the couches, as well as the living room rug, is stained. The carpets throughout are not clean in the non high traffic areas. But the worst part was the moldy window covering in the back bedroom. It is seriously gross and a health issue, especially if you have allergies. Even with the good location, I would not rent here again.

Très bon emplacement pour cette appartement avec un rapport qualité-prix plus que correct. Il est à proximité de la bouche de métro et des supermarchés. Nous étions 8 et très à l'aise pour y loger. Par contre c'est au niveau -1. Il ne faut pas s'attendre non plus à du haut de gamme. De nombreux meubles ou mobilier étauent détériorés...

Great location!

This apartment is in a great location with easy access to the Tube, grocery stores, restaurants, and the Princess Diana Memorial Playground for the kids. The area seemed safe, even in our evening returns. The kitchen was a nice bonus. When we had questions, the owner responded very promptly.

Overall Nice- could use a little fine tuning

We had an overall good experience. We weren't in the apartment much, but the location felt very safe. It was just a few minutes to the metro station and about 5 minutes to Kensington Gardens. We were traveling as a family of 6 and had plenty of beds for everyone. The house was clean overall, but a bit cluttered. The bedding could use some updating as well as the carpets. Overall would recommend.
