Noisy, outdated furniture

We started our stay with a misunderstanding of our check in date. Property manager basically called my husband a liar, which he is not. Communication with the owner, Marti was good. The house is spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. The walls desperately needed painting when we arrived. Elbow grease and some touch up paint found in the garage helped. The furniture is OLD! The white couch shown in the living room picture needs to be trashed, it is worn out. We put quilts on any soft furniture. Bed was comfortable but linens were old. There is a broken down golf cart in the garage that puts off a horrible chemical smell. It is important to say that this is NOT a quiet location if quiet is important to you! Hwy 303 runs directly behind the house. You can’t sit outside without constant traffic noise. If the house had newer windows it would help with reducing the traffic noise at night, but the seals on the windows were broken. In saying all of the above, Sun City Grand is a great place to spend a few months. I am sure we will be back.

Yes, there certainly was a miscommunication. They were clearly told the date of check-in and the calendar and contract showed the date. The manager was there on the correct date and was putting the key in the place where these renters had been told the key would be. She found that they had somehow broken into the house and were already moved in. They also brought a dog that they did not tell me about. I have no problem with animals but there is a security deposit required and my permission as well. Apparently, these people didn't understand that this is a vacation rental. Regardless please read my other reviews and you will see that my other renters did NOT have any of these complaints. This is a lovely house which my property manager takes very good care of.

Had to leave two weeks early due to Covid – 19

We had booked the property for February and March but had to leave two weeks early due to COVID-19. We are from Canada. Would have appreciated a refund for the last two weeks. Great place, great location.

Very pleased.

We enjoyed the open floor plan and the unit was very clean. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed both patios. We also had guests and they also commented on how nice the unit was. Sometimes the blinds would stick and one panel fell off. The outside grill needed a MAJOR cleaning and we did not feel it was useable. The owner, Marty, was easy to contact and very pleasant to deal with. We would rent from her again.

Nice clean house in convenient location

Nice clean home and convenient location. Kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have plenty of hangers and drawers for our stuff. We were disappointed that the bed in master bedroom was only a queen not a king as was advertised. Also golf cart wasn't useable for golf as batteries wouldn't last. We had to pay for carts which we weren't expecting.
