The security Gaurds were very helpful. There was an indoor pool that had a kiddie pool attached. It had a beach view.The only thing that could have made it better was Sassy Bass was closed at this location at our stay. Staff needs to update signage about Sassy Bass.

We have stayed at this resort for 5 Thanksgivings, and have a wonderful experience each year. This condo was perfect for our family five. The kitchen was equipped enough for us to cook Thanksgiving dinner. We did not have a blanket in master bedroom, after making Vacasa aware, they remedied the situation and brought us a blanket and bedspread. Overall, we had an excellent stay once again.

Great place

The condo was great, a little small for us with little kids and all the toys but we would stay again, the walk to the beach wasn't far at all and I was able to allow the kids to get in the pool and still see the rest of our crew at the grill, we didn’t use the kitchen much but when we did everything we needed was there, very relaxed environment, beach was a little more crowded than we were use to but still fun for us all

A pleasant stay....

Stayed 5 nights and had an overall good experience. Should bring towels because there are only a few. Condo is slightly outdated, but nothing too extravagant. Perfect for my little family. About 15 minutes from Gulf Shores traffic and great access to the beach.

Love this area

Nice area away from the crowds! This unit could have had better kitchen stock such as a kid friendly glasses, spatula and medium to larger pots with lids. We like to eat in!

Because of the kitchen i chose to cook. The place could use a pizza pan, a good plastic spatula and maybe a few other kitchen essentials. I bough tinfoil because of the lack of pans and i chose to leave it in case someone else made my mistake. Also bring your own coffee filters!! However a napkin does just as well. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay and we will be booking here again.

They texted me saying the condo was ready early. But we still didn’t get there till the 4:00 check in time. There were no comforters on the beds. No blankets in the condo. And no full size towels. We called and they had housekeeping bring us a garbage bag full of towels and two sheet like spreads. Not even as thick as a normal bedspread. We had to go purchase comforters from Dollar General. The amenities of the complex are very dated and not all in good condition. Parking is 35/vehicle.

Wonderful Condo

I loved the layout of the condo. It’s adorably decorated. The view is great. It was missing a blanket on the bed in the master. We always bring a blanket from home but if we hadn’t, we would have only had a sheet. I’m not sure if the blanket for the bed got stolen but I don’t feel like that’s the owners fault. They may not even know. However the condo is wonderful. I would definitely stay again

This condo needs attention

The condo was dirty! The floors needed a thorough cleaning, the couch and recliner were dirty, and the walls need a new coat of paint. The ceiling fan/light was operated by an extension cord that had to be plugged in to work and the chain attached to the extension cord was full of dirt and dust. Also, the fan in the bathroom did not work. The rental agency that I booked through reached out to me and asked if we were pleased upon check in and I responded with no. They said they would reach out to me by phone so I could explain but I never received a call. The location of the condo was nice but that is about the only thing I liked about this stay.

Decent place to stay

We love Plantation Dunes. Great facilities and beach access. Love the pool options. Great view of the beach. This condo was not the nicest we've stayed in, but also not the worst. It was clean and decently maintained. Very family friendly and didn't have tons of crap everywhere that you worry your kids will break. There was a bit of a lingering funky smell. Towels, bedding, and furniture were okay, but definitely on the cheaper side. The beds were quite comfortable. Vacasa was really responsive to an issue we had and great to work with. Overall it was a comfy place to stay and we loved the location.

Great location and quiet condo. Some issues with one bathroom shower turning it on and off. I did not get any information from Cacasa or VRBO on the site about the unit. I did not know where to go or who to ask about the lock box that had information about the condo.

The ocean, beach and pool areas we Amazing! I am only giving it a 3 due to cleanliness of our condo. There was someone’s hair stuck to the bathroom wall, balcony was disgusting your feet were black immediately from walking out on it. The only carpet in the place needs to be vacuumed badly!! Also, no one can deliver to the property and it’s hard to find what location to call to see if they deliver there. But, if it were cleaner it would totally be a 5! Beach was AMAZING, it was soft white sand instead of the shell beach we stayed by last year. A mile or 2 makes a huge difference in the sand quality.

Not very pleased

We went 5 days without television, the couch was very worn out and had dried food on it. One of the recliners has a large hole in it, looks like a cigarette burn. The master bathtub was so clogged up that the water was standing while showering. I took it apart and cleaned it. Huge wads of hair in the drain. It works great now, but it needs to be checked on a regular basis. Messaged them multiple times about not having television service. We went from Saturday to 2pm on Thursday without television. That’s ridiculous.

Clean, isolated, poor sleeping, intrusions

The condo was very clean. Unfortunately the condo is very isolated. Good if you want that. Not so much if you enjoy eating out. The only restaurant there typically closed early (did not follow their posted hours) typically leaving you without a dinner option other then a 30 min drive back to Gulf Shores. The room stated 2 queens and one twin. But was actually 1queen and two twins. Leaving me to sleep on the sofa bed. Unfortunately it was in terrible condition. Unable to be laid on. The mattress was thin with no padding, springs only and no underneath support so it sagged through the rails. There also was no blankets for the sofa bed. I called the receptionist (very sweet and as helpful as she could be). She got me extra blankets but had no air mattress or foam pad. Since I’m longer then the sofa was, I had to just pull off the sofa cushions to sleep on them (makes for a very rough vacation when your getting no sleep). There was also no offer by Vacasa to reimburse a small amount for our difficulties. (I will repost if they try to make things right and show expected customer service) Another issue was a maintenance employee came to work on an outside door while me and the kids were there (it was cold and storming) and was not something we had called in. It was from a former tenant. It would have been appropriate to wait till the room was empty or to at least call us ahead of time to schedule or warn us he was coming. He was nice, but we still had to entertain a stranger for issues we had no problems with.
