This cabin in Smallwood was perfect for a couple and 2 adults. The cabin was spacious for congregating at the dinner table or to watch some movies. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The bathroom is small relative to the house, but it wasn't an issue for us. The neighborhood is a cozy dynamic and there's a lake beach about a 10m walk away. This was a wonderful getaway, loved getting to stay in Smallwood.

Cozy Cabin

We came for Bethel for a concert, and enjoyed the stay at Scott's cabin immensely. The cabin was clean, comfortable, quiet and I loved seeing the deer so close to us. Enjoyed the beach, the town, and all the Woodstock memories, Will definitely stay here again. Thanks

Good location

It was a very clean cabin. We had gone up to see Zac Brown Band on Friday Bethel entertainment center was about 15 minutes away from were the cabin was. In the visitors book Scott suggested walking to Falls at Forest Reserve it was a perfect day the area even had outdoor workout equipment that was great. The falls were very peaceful. I would recommended this place to my family and friends. Kristen G

Cozy relaxing cabin

Scott ( the host) was very responsive to all inquiries, and close by if needed. The cabin was cozy, convenient and tastefully decorated. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. There is a visitors book which has all pertinent information for the area, which was very helpful. Rustic log cabin community, would definitely return.

We loved it! 5 stars.

This property was exactly as described and more. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated without being cluttered, and every gadget, dish, pan and towel that we needed. Comfortable beds. The inside is surprisingly spacious and well laid out.(Sky-lights were a nice touch) A sun room on the far side of the kitchen offers a quiet place to read or check your lap top away from the living area. There was plenty of room for our family gatherings in the living area plus our dog dora the explorer. The back yard is fenced, and there is a dog park nearby. It lies behind an "exercise" walk complete with outside equipment. Our host Scott was friendly and responded quickly to questions. The area is a beautifully wooded lake community, dotted with log cabins. A stream runs through it with a lovely mini waterfall. Many curious deer abound and you will see them in the back yard as well as walking about. It is a peaceful, lovely vibe and it smells great. Like fresh clean air through the pines.

Great Stay, Lovely cabin.

We absolutely loved this beautiful cabin. Scott is a great host, the cabin was comfy and cozy and a short drive to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. There was a very comprehensive list of places to see and restaurants to go to; the kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities to create a lovely meal, if you that was what you wanted to do. It wasn't far off the main road so easy to get to. Just truly a lovely space.

As advertised: beautiful, quiet, clean woodland cabin!

Although we are friends of Scott's, we still want to write a review of this fabulous nature get-away. Close to a beautiful lake, loads of deer, quiet, peaceful, relaxing. All new furniture, bedding and appliances, BIG TV, games, shampoo, conditioner, soap, just absolutely everything you need to say "Ahhhhhh...". Loved it! THANKS, SCOTT!

An Amazing Gem

Scott's cabin? What can I say. It's the perfect combination of rustic charm with modern conveniences. Scott was very helpful and quick to communicate and answer any questions. His welcome book full of suggestions and ideas as well as map and directions to places was great. It's off the beaten path enough to offer tranquility but close enough to everything. We came for a Labor Day show at Bethel Woods which was only a few minutes away. Anything that you might need at home is there for you. It was wonderful to come home, yes it definitely felt like home, and throw some steaks or burgers on the grill and have dinner on the patio. If you're visiting the area and want more, so much more, than a hotel room. Scott's cabin is definitely the way to go. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

Modern Warm Cabin in Great location

Scotts Bungalow is really airy and welcoming! The location is great, walking distance Minnie Falls and close to the pool house. Just note bo dishwasher, so bring paper and plastic maybe. And there is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans. Also the pillows are a little flat so maybe byo pillow!
