Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have had the privilege of managing this property for eight years, and it is typically very well loved by guests. Concerns like this are uncommon so we take your review very seriously. We’re sorry to hear the noise on the deck affected your experience. The building uses a water-based HVAC system, and while the individual unit is maintained, the building’s cooling towers and related equipment are managed at the building level. At times, maintenance or normal operation of that system can contribute to noise outside, which is unfortunately outside of our direct control. Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding arrival information, our records show that the access details were sent to the phone number on file two weeks before arrival, again three days before arrival, and again on the day of check-in. When we were contacted, we resent the information promptly. We otherwise did not hear from you during your stay, but we always encourage guests to reach out right away so we can assist whenever possible. However, we are disappointed to hear of any issues you experienced while staying with us. We are shocked to hear of a bad odor in our unit as it was not reported by our staff prior to your arrival and we have been unable to recreate the smell. We can only guess that it may have been related to building maintenance occurring during your stay. Nevertheless, we are so sorry for this issue and for any inconvenience it may have caused. As for the mattress, we apologize it you were uncomfortable at any point during your stay; we will send a member of our team to assess the mattress and will be sure to pass this information on to the owner for further consideration. Lastly, we apologize if you were confused by the building instructions and codes provided. We seldom have guests that are unable to access this information and apologize for any trouble this may have caused.
