Diese Unterkunft in Girdwood genießt eine ruhige Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht vom Balkon im 3. Stock und einem Whirlpool. Es besteht aus zwei Mieten, die jeweils separat gemietet werden können, um Ihre Gruppe unterzubringen.

Das Alyeska Resort ist 1,6 km entfernt und bietet ganzjährig Aktivitäten wie Abfahrts- und Langlaufski, Schneeschuhwandern, Wandern und Mountainbiken. Zu den weiteren Aktivitäten zählen Tagestouren und Ausflüge, Rafting und Kajakfahren. Zu den lokalen Festen zählen die Waldmesse im Juli und das Blaubeerfest im August.

Dieses Haus verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, kostenfreies WLAN, Bücher und einen Flachbild-TV mit DVD-Player für Unterhaltung, einen Holzofen und allen Komfort von zu Hause. Genießen Sie während Ihrer Ausfallzeit die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Sonne auf dem Deck.

Beautiful home, not happy with booking platform

The property was perfect for our party. Unfortunately, I received a separate and additional $161 “fee” from VRBO when I booked through Vacasa. I understand finding cleaning crews are not easy; on top of all the fees, we were charged a reasonable $240 cleaning fee, but having to haul trash to the Hightower Pub dumpster was off-putting.

We loved the property, the location, and especially the library loft area. There were a few minor downsides, although mostly with the management company. There were some dirty dishes put away in cabinets. We think the dishwasher doesn't work well. The rest of the cleaning was fine. There was incorrect information in the guest book which sent us on a fool's errand when we tried to dispose of garbage as directed. We encountered poor communication between the local management office and vacasa. Spotty wifi downstairs. There were no blackout curtains in the apartment or the loft of the main house, which is a problem when the sun barely sets, but wouldn't be an issue the rest of the year. It is a really excellent property, but we will probably avoid vacasa managed properties in the future.

Our entire family was impressed with this property. It is a beautiful property in a fantastic location with plenty of room. The home and apartment are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Even better than we expected.

We chose a particularly poor-weather week to visit Alaska, but this home was our safe, warm, wonderful shelter from the cold and rain. Cool house

Part of the fun of vacation rentals is seeing a unique home and this home delivered on that and it wasn't "quirky" and awkward. It was a classy place with interesting architecture and finishes that made it fun for our kids to explore. And I found the architecture and finishes to be evocative and classic. But I do have one major negative: I tried to rent only the house, and not the apartment, but even though the listing for just the house said it was available, at the very end of reservation process it said the unit wasn't available. I tried from multiple computers and waited a day and reviewed the calendar of availability very carefully because it seemed definitely like a glitch. The other listing, which was the only one I was able to successfully reserve, said it included an apartment, but there were no pictures or description of this apartment. The apartment was much more space than we needed and we never used it. They just need to fix the listings. A minor complaint is that Vacasa was very slow to respond to a message that I sent about my wife forgetting her slippers. I sent a follow up message the next day, before I got a response, saying that she found them and nevermind. Several days later I got a form message explaining how much it costs to get items mailed. Ridiculous. One last piece of feedback is that I really wish there was a hot tub on that top deck. That would have been the ultimate. But I understand the hassles of owning a hot tub. I love them but I don't personally own one because they are a maintenance nightmare. I don't want to end with negatives because overall it was a great experience. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We vacation sometimes with another family and this will be the perfect fit for that with the apartment. We would just have to draw straws to see which parents get the studio apartment. :) I want to send my compliments to the owners for a beautiful and interesting home.

Great space for a large group

The location is just a few minute drive to the resort and lifts. The open format of the main living area gave seven of us more than enough room to spread out our gear, cook meals and relax without feeling cramped. The upstairs loft has beautiful views of the surrounding area, and I'm sure the deck is lovely when not covered in four feet of snow.

Beautiful place in the trees and some views

We were a group of nine and we really enjoyed this beautiful home. The apartment had it's own kitchen and gas stove. The main house had beautiful windows and interesting features about the house. The kitchen is big and equipped well. For three days we cooked all meals in there. The deck upstairs were great to hang out. I am so happy to have found this place and may book again in the future.

Home is awesome

Stayed at this home over 4th of July week. The home was stunning as was the setting. The only real complaint was that there was no cable TV and the apartment has many windows, but no drapes. This was a problem during the 23 hours of summer sunlight. However, I will say that Vacasa and the owners worked with me to overcome this problem. They took my complaint seriously and handled it very professionally. I hope blinds will be added to the apartment because I'd love to stay there again.
