Casa Jual is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached villa locatedi at Roche Viejo, nr Conil de la Frontera, (Cadiz province) in a quiet rural area, overlooking fields and next to a pine forest. It is comfortably furnished with good quality furniture & appliances. The property has a spacious lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 double with king sized beds, one twin plus a travel cot for a baby) and two recently refurbished bathrooms (1 en suite).

Outside there is an 8m x 4m private pool set in a large, secure, lawned garden. To the side of the villa is a large covered patio with table and chairs, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco. There is also a second covered patio to the front of the villa and a further uncovered patio area to the side for sun loungers. The garden is sunny, secure and private and has a large lawn which surrounds the villa, making it ideal for families. Our guests can also make use of a large brick BBQ close to the patio. The villa is 5km from a beautiful sandy beach at Roche, where there is an excellent restaurant & summer bar overlooking the beach making it a great location for evening drinks while enjoying the beautiful sea views. There are also two great chiringuitas further down the beach for drinks and tapas on the sand.

A children's playpark, chemist, beach shop, 2 restaurants and cafe (summer only) can be found at Roche or you can walk to an excellent greengrocer/mini-market, restaurant and venta all 10 minutes walk away. There is also a larger supermarket & range of shops 5 mins by car.

This house was great! In a very quiet neighborhood and beautiful landscaping. Our host was very responsive and gave us perfect directions and access to the house.The pool was very well maintained. Even though it was a little chilly in November a few of us took a dip.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Jual. Very convenient location, closed to beautiful beaches, small villages such as Vejer and also close to Cádiz. The house is well equipped, everything working. We spent most of the days visiting places and it was great to come back and enjoy a swim in the pool and take dinner outside. Totally recommended, we will come back again 🙂.

Great stay - lovely villa - beautiful beaches

We - family of 4 with 2 kids aged 7 and 4 + grandma - stayed in Casa Jual for May'15 half term holidays. We had a great week with visits to Cadiz, Sevilla, Vejer and Tarifa, mixed with the lovely beaches - playas and calas - in Roche and hours of fun in the swimming pool. The villa is very well located, has 3 airy bed rooms (which can be make completely dark - important for the little ones!), 2 badrooms, living room and kitchen with door giving to a roofed terrace. The kids loved the garden, especially the cabinet full of garden toys! Strongly recommended!

Great location

Julie has been good at communicating with us. The villa is easy to find and in a quiet location, although close enough to walk to a restaurant and small supermarket. We even walked to the beach! The local Carrefour was fine for larger shops, and there is also a Mercadona within easy reach. The garden and pool are well looked after - watch out for the overnight watering! There were 4 of us and there was plenty of space, as well as sufficient crockery, cooking utensils etc. We had a lovely, restful week and enjoyed our stay.

A great stay.

Everything was even more than OK. The villa was exactly as it was written in the description. Rooms are large enough for a comfortable stay for the whole family and provides a lot of privacy. We had a very direct, quick and satisfying communication with the management of the house. We spent a week in the first week of July and were afraid of high temperatures, but it was not necessary because of was nice an chilly the complete day. No AC was not a problem at all. Water temperature in the pool was ca 28-29 oC so it was absolutely fantastic to have some evening swimming with pool lights and stars above. We can honestly recommend the villa to other travellers.

Fantastic villa with everything you need

This was our first visit to this part of Spain in August and we started with 2 nights in Seville and then drove to the villa for a weeks stay. The villa is equipped with everything you need and especially things to keep the young ones entertained - DVD's, games, books, a box of garden toys and of course the fantastic pool. Usually when we stay at a villa we go out and about a lot, not this time, we spent a lot of time at the villa relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. We did venture to Cadiz and Conil de la Frontera which were close by and very nice. The local restaurant is lovely with a huge terrace. If you walk you will need a torch for heading back at night time (which the kids thought was brilliant). Hazel was on hand for anything we needed which wasn't necessary. Everything was clean and tidy and well maintained. All in all a lovely week and would recommend anyone to visit. Hopefully we will be back.

Das Haus ist wie angegeben. Wir haben es sehr sauber angetroffen und uns sofort zuhause gefühlt. Die Betten sind gut, es sehr still dort. Man hört rundherum nur Hunde und Hühner. Für das tägliche Leben muss man wirklich alles kaufen! Wir haben außer ein paar Teebeuteln und 2 WC Rollen wirklich nichts vorgefunden. Man bekommt alles gut im ca 4km gelegenen Supermarkt. Der Pool ist fantastisch, groß und man kann ab der Hälfte nicht mehr stehen. Er ist nicht eingezäunt, für Nichtschimmerkinder eher nicht geeignet. Strand, Restaurants ( sehr Gute! ), für das alles braucht man das Auto. Sam und Paul haben uns hervorragend durch die Tage gegührt. Die Kommunikation findet per WhatsApp in Englisch statt.Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder! Vielen Dank an Paul, Sam und Julie

Marvelous

We've booked already quite a few holiday houses during the last years in Cádiz, but this one stood out. The house is nicely situated and visibly well-maintained. Both check-in and -out were super flexible - thanks again to Julie and the property managers. The communication with July and the property managers was great without exception - everything is well-organized and aimed at ensuring that guests have a fantastic stay. This will not be the last time that we stayed in Casa Jual.

schönes geräumiges Haus mit Terasse und Pool

Das Haus ist wirklich schön und genau wie im Internet beschrieben. Es ist sehr sauber hat einen großen Garten und einen tollen Pool. Man kann super den ganzen Abend auf der Terasse sitzen und den Urlaub genießen. Es liegt sehr ruhig in einem Pinienwald und nur wenige Fahrminuten vom Strand entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ausreichend in der Nähe. Die Kommunikation mit Julie, Sam und Paul war nett und unkompliziert. Wir waren als Familie mit drei Kindern zwei Wochen dort und können sowohl das Haus, als auch die Gegend absolut empfehlen.

It is very clean has a large garden and a great pool. You can spend the whole evening on the terrace and enjoy the holiday. It is very quiet in a pine forest and only a few minutes drive from the beach. There are plenty of shopping nearby. The communication with Julie, Sam and Paul was nice and uncomplicated. We were there as a family with three children for two weeks and can recommend both the house, as well as the area absolutely.

Tolles Haus mit kleinen Abzügen ...

Wir haben insgesamt einen fantastischen Urlaub in Casa Jual verbracht. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war herzlich. Toll ist, dass man so Sachen wie Spülmittel , Gewürze, Essig und Öl , Alufolie nicht kaufen muss und benutzen darf... Das Haus hätte allerdings leider etwas besser geputzt sein können. In der Beschreibung stand auch, dass man einen Sonnenschirm für den Strand hat. Die zwei ,die da waren , waren allerdings total kaputt. In der Kiste draußen am Haus ( wo die Sonnenschirme drin waren) waren auch noch einige andere schöne Sachen (Bodyboards , Sandspielzeug)für den Strand drin, die sich dann aber als defekt herausgestellt haben. Das war sehr schade . Wir haben was neues gekauft und alles da gelassen, damit sich die nachfolgenden Gäste freuen können...man sollte das defekte Zeug nur mal entsorgen. Die Lage des Hauses ist schon sehr abseits, aber mit Auto ok. Insgesamt aber hatten wir einen erholsamen Aufenthalt und haben unseren Urlaub genossen...

I am sorry that you thought that the villa could have been cleaner. It is extremely rare that we get complaints about cleanliness so I will pass your comments on to our property manager to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. I am also very sorry about the umbrellas. We replace items constantly, both at the start of the season and during the season. However, with the best will in the world, it is not possible to check every item after every stay and we rely on guests letting us know when things get broken so that we can replace them for the next guests. If you do ever decide to return to Casa Jual or for any other potential guests reading this review, please always let our property manager know of anything which is defective and we will get it replaced as soon as possible. As for the toys in the beach box outside, I don’t advertise these as I know that guests do tend to leave them behind, no matter what condition they are in! I do clear it out of any things which are broken before and after the season but I will also update my information pack for future guests and ask them to throw any defective toys away on their departure. Sehr schöne Zeit als Familie verbracht!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit als Familie. Das Haus war ideal für sechs Personen mit einem großen Garten und einem schönen Pool. Der Pool hat allen große Freude bereitet. Die Vermieterin und die Hausverwaltung vor Ort waren sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Kommen gerne bei Gelegenheit wieder.

Perfekter Familienurlaub!

Wir (2 EW, 2 Kinder 5+8) haben 2 Wochen in dem Haus gebucht und es war alles perfekt! Sehr ruhige Lage und gut geeignet für Ausflüge! Der nächste Strand ist ca. 4 Km entfernt und ist einer der schönsten in der Umgebung. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Besonders erwähnenswert ist die sehr nette Vermieterin die sich wirklich von der Vorbereitung bis zum Urlaubsende um alle Belange der Bucher kümmert! Vielen Dank Julie! Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe suchen will :-) : bedingt durch das trockene Klima sind teilweise die Gartenmöbel aus Holz ein bisschen morsch und müssen sicher demnächst erneuert werden. Wir können diese Unterkunft aber zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Two sunny and relaxing weeks in a wonderfull house

We (couple plus kid aged 3) spent two sunny and relaxing weeks in a wonderfull house. The house is well equipped as described in the internet and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool and the outside barbecue. The villa is nicely located a bit outside Roche with good access to major roads. Car is a must: next beach is 10 min by car; supermarkets are 5min by car. Many good restaurants also close by. Booking and handling by owner went very smooth. We can recommend a stay!!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Pool

Wir haben zu viert eine sehr schöne Woche im Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Roche verbracht. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge von Gibraltar bis Sevilla. Der Strand in Roche ist wirklich wunderschön, Supermärkte sind problemlos zu erreichen und die Restaurants in der Nähe sehr vielfältig. Das Haus selber ist zweckmässig ausgestattet, Garten und Pool sind großzügig angelegt und gepflegt. Wir haben uns auch über deutsches Fernsehen gefreut, so dass wir die Olympia-Berichterstattung verfolgen konnten. Von der Vermieterin wurden wir umfassend informiert und der Kontakt war sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder...

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub ...

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, 16 und 13) haben wunderschöne 14 Tage in diesem Ferienhaus und der tollen Umgebung verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich komplett ausgestattet, so dass es an nichts gefehlt hat. Selbst für einen Strandausflug war alles vorhanden. Mit Handtüchern, Strandstühlen und Kühlbox konnten wir schöne Tage an den - trotz Hochsaison nicht überfüllten - Stränden verbringen. Wlan gab es auch, was für unsere Kinder natürlich nicht unwichtig war ;-)). Wir haben für die komplette Zeit ein Auto gemietet, was auch wirklich nötig war. Somit konnten wir viel sehen. Conil, Tarifa, Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera, Jerez de la Frontera und auch Sevilla usw. sind gut erreichbar. Verpflegt haben wir uns prima durch den mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten gut erreichbaren Supermarkt. Eine Klimaanlage gab es nicht. Diese war aber auch wirklich nicht nötig!! Es wehte immer ein angenehm leichter Wind, so dass es im Haus nie zu warm war. Da wir (leider an einem Sonntag) ein kleines Problem mit dem Austauschen der Gasflasche hatten, kontaktierten wir Hazel (die gute Seele vor Ort) über WhatsApp. 20 Minuten später stand sie freundlich lächelnd vor uns und rettete uns. 1000 Dank dafür!! Unsere Kaution haben wir ohne Probleme schnell zurückbekommen. Dafür (und für den sehr sympatischen Email-Kontakt) auch ein herzliches Dankeschön an Julie!!! Rundum ein perfekter Urlaub!

Vacaciones perfectas

He estado una semana en casa Jual con mi hijo de 11 años. Lo hemos pasado de maravilla. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo sobretodo del jardin y la piscina. A la casa no le faltaba ni un solo detalle, es muy cómoda para todo. Repetiremos en cuanto tengamos ocasión.

Villa agréable pour des vacances reposantes

Nous avons passé des bonnes vacances dans votre maison Julie, et nous avons apprécié l’attention que vous nous avez porté avant notre arrivée. Le jardin et la piscine sont un plus; des nouvelles chaises longues et un parasol près de la piscine permettraient d’en profiter encore mieux. Nous n’avons pas vu Sam lors de notre séjour, cela nous a étonné car vous nous aviez prévenu qu’elle viendrait nous accueillir à notre arrivée ou le lendemain. Nous avons eu un incident avec le barbecue, Paul est venu constaté mais il connaissait déjà le défaut existant, j’espère que vous avez pu le sécuriser. Hormis cela, nous étions en voiture, et en moins de 10min, nous avons pu profiter d’une très belle plage et des commerces de proximité.

Dear Sonia, Many thanks for your review, I very much appreciate you taking the time to leave one for us. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to have parasoles on the lawn as we have water pipes which run throughout the garden. Unfortunately, the pipes are relatively close to the surface of the lawn and would potentially be ruptured if we had parasoles being put into the lawn. We also will not be able to have extra loungers on the lawn but we will be buying some new loungers for the new season in 2022. We do replace and/or upgrade items at the villa every year, ready for each new season. I do hope that you did make use of the covered patios at the side and front of the villa for shade from the sun. The side patio does look onto the pool so you can sit there and keep an eye on small children. We did indeed have an issue with the BBQ which Paul fixed but thank you very much for mentioning it to me. Lastly, I am very sorry that Sam did not get to see you at the villa but I think that Paul did come over instead. Sam and Paul are a husband and wife team so sometimes they swap duties when needs must. I am very glad that you had a good stay and I am also very happy that you liked our beautiful local beach and I very much hope that we might welcome you to the villa again if you are ever back in the Costa de la Luz. My name is Julie Vickery and firstly, I should apologise for the photo as it contains not just my family but some good friends of ours. We rarely get a photo of our family where someone doesn't look ridiculous, so I thought I'd go for this one. I am in the blue dress, my husband Paul is to my right, in the pink t-shirt. My oldest son Christopher is in the CocaCola tshirt and my youngest son William is at the end in the checked shirt. This photo was taken in 2014 in Vejer, during the August festival season.
Anyway, enough about the photo, more about us. We live in Sevenoaks in Kent, and both my boys are at secondary school. My husband works full time in London and I work part time in Sevenoaks and from home. We bought our villa in 2003 having done next to no research, which, whilst we realise was incredibly niaive, has turned out to be a great decision. We love the Costa de la Luz and have had many memorable holidays there, both as a family and with friends.
However, time has now moved on (2025), we are now retired and we now try to spend at least two months a year at the villa, which for us is bliss.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

When we first went to look at Conil and the surrounding area, having seen it for the first time on one of the many holiday home TV programmes on UK TV, we couldn't get over how lovely the beaches were .... and deserted. We went in January first of all and we could still sit on the beach (albeit not in swimming costumes) and we were hooked. The beach does get busier in the high season but even then, not to the busy standards of some countries. Out of season, the beach will often be quite empty. However, there is also far more to the area than beaches. If you take the trouble to drive around off of the main roads, the countryside can be quite beautiful. There are many picturesque towns and villages to visit and the cities of Cadiz, Seville and Jerez are all relatively close. Lastly, having looked at quite a number of properties, and never really being bowled over, we saw this property and loved it immediately. We love the fact that it is surrounded by farmland and that many of our neighbours are locals. It is peaceful but not too isolated, yet close to great beaches and the lovely town of Conil.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

I am not sure what I would say are it's unique benefits, we love all of it. It has a great garden with plenty of room for sunbathing or playing, it is comfortable and we have tried our best to think of everything we can that makes a holiday enjoyable. I know the things that have irritated me on holidays in the past, like only getting exactly 6 glasses and none of them for wine or having to rush out and buy cleaning cloths and liquid for the kitchen, even though I am only somewhere for a week, so we have tried hard to include small things that make a stay comfortable. In fact, if you do take your holiday with us, and you think we have missed something, please please do let me know.
One big benefit for us are the sunsets at the beach, they are absolutely beautiful. Go down to Roche in the evening, take a bottle of wine with you and just sit and watch the sun sink down below the horizon. Take it from me, there is no better way to spend an evening.
I hope you do decide to stay at our home and that you will enjoy it just as much as we do.
