My daughter and I stayed at Fuller Breeze with some friends during Spring Break this year. The house immediately felt like home to us, the minute we walked in. I was really impressed with the open concept living space, that’s huge. The dining table seats 10 people, and the breakfast counter 4-6. The living room area has 2 big comfortable couches, plus extra seating. The ceiling has to be at least 18 feet high, which makes the home feel relaxing and airy, with lots of natural light. When I look for beach rentals, I look for this kind of properties, full of character, family feel, lots of space, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor for big groups, off street parking, and a property that’s taken care of and loved. This house has 3 porches. I had a chance to check out the smaller house, which can be rented with this one, making it a 6 BDR, or rented separately. The smaller house is very charming and also has it’s own parking spaces and porches, etc. The walk to the beach is really short and easy, I’d say 300 feet or less. The beach at the end of the street is really nice, not crowded at all. My daughter and her friends spent the days biking in the neighborhood and to the village, they spent many hours fishing at the pier, and browsing the cute shops. It was great! I've been in St. Simons 3 times now, and I can say that parking was never a problem for me. The village has pretty good infrastructure for tourists, nice and clean public restrooms, plenty of parking, nice picnic tables, lots of green grass for you play, and big wide trees with lots of shaded areas. The village has enough restaurants to please anyone’s taste. Another big plus about the island is that you can find a lot of local art, and get to know about history. I recommend Saint Simons Island and Fuller Breeze, I can’t wait to go back with a bigger group.
