Relaxing getaway

We hadn't expected so much snow, but it added a layer of beauty to the area. It was just over an hour to 49 Degrees North ski resort and we were able to enjoy a few days skiing. Sitting in the hot tub each day, with the snow falling, allowed us to all relax and unwind. The home was well-furnished and comfortable and everyone had space to spread out. The princess room was a huge hit with the young child who spent hours enjoying that room. The playset was also a nice distraction. The dogs loved running around the fenced yard and barking at the many ducks and geese in the distance on the lake. The wi-fi worked well but was not strong throughout the house. I would not recommended attempting multiple video calls at the same time. In addition, there is no cell service (at least not Verizon) at the house. Regardless, we had a wonderful week and enjoyed exploring a different part of Washington.

We are so glad you enjoyed the home. Thanks so much for staying with us! I hope the landline was useful to you since cell phone reception can be spotty. You can connect your cell phone through the WiFi to get service. We have Verizon and that works well for us. Sorry I should have left you instructions on how to do that. We have had multiple zoom calls going at once with the WIFi, but maybe we need to get a WiFi extender to make sure the lower level areas are all covered as well. Thanks again! We hope to welcome you back to Spokane soon.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our last getaway for the summer. We used this rental for a staycation and it was a perfect setting. We brought our boat and were able to explore up and down the river. The property and house were very kid friendly which was perfect for our busy toddler and she adored the kids room which made our life that much easier. Would definitely return.

You won't find a nicer dog-friendly property

A fully fenced yard right on the waterfront is a rarity for people who travel with dogs (our daughters brought theirs this trip). Having a place this nice, though, especially having such a beautiful yard for both doggies and humans, makes this a true gem. (We were inspired to treat the house extra nicely, too, so we hope the owner was pleased to host our pooch guests.) Any criticisms would be quibbles: It would be nice to have blinds in the main room to block the afternoon sun prior to sunset. The propane tank ran out of gas, which seems to plague all vacation rentals these days. (Surely some wise owners somewhere must leave an extra full tank to avoid this?) Lastly the downstairs bar room is epic: A lot of restaurant and bar owners would be envious. If you're staying in the greater Spokane area, you can't do better than this place.

Awesome all-season getaway

This was an excellent place to escape for a few days. Very quiet area with great views of the water and room to play in the snow. House was clean and spacious and warmed up very fast with gas fireplaces. 15 minutes from grocery store and a couple restaurants. Owners were very fast to respond to inquiries and their directions to the house were excellent. Awesome girls bedroom with toys and board games. Kitchen appliances worked well and was stocked full of dishes. Good WiFi signal. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to relax.

Beautiful & Quiet Home

Beautiful water front property. Owner has great communication & quick response. Lots of room for our family gathering. Very comfortable beds! Home is very well stocked for all your needs.
