The house is an italian dream ! The photos dont do it justice. Everything is available and the pool is super. You have to get used to being off the beaten track but we loved it !

Our stay was PERFECT !

Massimiliano and his mother are extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. They were also available to answer any question we would have during our stay. We rented the house with my mother, my brother, my husband and son. The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean with an amazing view. It was well equipped and furnished including a baby cot and chair. The pool is big and someone came to clean it every day. Our daily routine was to relax by the pool in the morning and drive to explore the surroundings (Perudgia, Spelo, Gubbio, Montepulciano, Assisi,…) and come back around 6 pm for our aperitivo. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

A perfect week

Dear Massimiliano, it has been a week now since we had to leave Villa Casale with a heavy heart. We still remember every moment of our vacation, from getting up in the morning in complete peace, to the wonderful breakfast at the large wooden table for eight people, the relaxed afternoon by the pool, to a night walk into the nearby village under a starry sky. We enjoyed every minute. The architect of Villa Casale did a really good job. So many beautiful places where you can linger, read, play or unwind. There is always a wonderful place where there is shade. And there is always a beautiful view of something that delights the heart… A big thank you, Massimiliano, for quickly managing the repair of the dishwasher after it broke down. An electrician was there shortly after the call, but after he couldn't repair the machine, the next service professional was there again in a short time. And then about an hour later a new dishwasher was there. I have never experienced such a professional service in my vacation. Something can always break. But how it is dealt with is crucial. And this was extraordinary. Thank you. At all: We could turn to you at any time with questions and felt very well looked after. Just Perfect

Our family has been the second time in that beautiful farmhouse. The house is very well equipped with all we need. We love the views over the valley while relaxing in one of the many beach chairs and hammocks. Massimilliano is a great host. Easy to comunicate with and very helpful. We had a wonderful time staying here and would love to return.

Perfect Holiday

Our family stayed for 9 days in that beautiful and charming house. Everything was just as described. The house and property is very spacious and very well equipped. The large pool was cleaned every second day early in the morning. The family who manage the property is very friendly and they did a cleaning and change of linen and towels during our stay. The property is very calm and offers superb views. It was very hot during our stay, so it was great to have a pool kitchen. Special thanks to Massimiliano for helping me to get my luggage which gets lost on the flight to Rome

La casa nel nulla

Difficile ad arrivarci , il proprietario è molto disponibile , però gestisce tutto a distanza. Chi ha fatto il check in non parlava un buon italiano(non si capiva) inoltre abbiamo avuto un problema importante alla doccia del bagno superiore che quasi quasi faceva venire giù il piano x allagamento...arriva un manutentore di un incompetenza assurda e non risolve niente. Al piano superiore di notte fa molto caldo, mancano i condizionatori ed in alternativa pure le zanzariere per consentire di dormire con i balconi e finestre aperte, considerato che è aperta campagna. Che dire sconsigliato per poche persone (di sera e'spettrale)

In merito alla recensione del Signor Flego credo siano d'obbligo alcune precisazioni: La perdita d'acqua è stata segnalata il giorno venerdì 20 agosto intorno alle ore 20,20, alle ore 21,00 l'idraulico è arrivato sul posto ed alle ore 21,20 la riparazione era stata effettuata con esito risolutivo. Chi ha fatto il check-in non è italiano ma parla in maniera comprensibile, ci interagisco da più di dieci anni e ci siamo sempre capiti. Non ci sono i condizionatori, cosa che del resto non è scritta da nessuna parte nell'annuncio, ma i ventilatori che hanno sempre soddisfatto gli ospiti precedenti. Riguardo la presunta "spettralità" di sera lascio giudicare dalle foto notturne... Evidentemente i signori non sono usi ad un soggiorno in mezzo alla natura. Saluti

Wonderful stay in Umbria

Fantastic house (much better than the photos indicate), great pool, excellent support from both the caretaker and the owner. The closest town, Todi, is impressive and Perugia, a bit further away, even more so.

Beautiful setting with some current drawbacks

This is a beautiful home in a lovely setting. The pool is a perfect size for a group of 4 and the property has a gorgeous view. We appreciated the fans in each bedroom for the warmer nights, but being a stone house, it was never too hot to sleep. We loved spending time outdoors and had most meals under the pergola. The caretakers were lovely, kind people who responded immediately when we had a question. The caretakers also brought a flyer advertising the festival taking place in the village during our stay. We visited the festival twice for dinner, drinks and live music - so much fun! The home is a bit more remote: it took about 1 hour to get to most tourist sites (Todi, Orvieto, a bit less to get to Perugia), but local grocery shopping is in the village (5 minutes driving) and there are bigger stores in the next town over (10 minutes driving). The condition of the vacation rental felt more like visiting a family member’s country house rather than being paying customers. The current online description and pictures on VRBO (August 2019) are not representative of the current condition of the house. As a previous reviewer noted, there are some small things that could be fixed and should be common sense after occurring previously. For example, I expect a holiday rental to include: fresh (not used) bars of soap in all sinks and showers, fresh kitchen towels, new cleaning sponges, bathrooms and showers free of all personal items, new toilet paper rolls in all bathrooms, ashtrays cleaned out and preferably put away, fresh smelling towels, well stocked and organized dishes and glasses. Cleanliness was lacking -- we had to re-clean all the cutting boards, toastie-maker and some glassware; the floors and cobwebs need some attention. There are also some areas of the home that are in serious need of repairs and/or a deep cleaning, particularly the kitchen (countertop, drawers, electrical) and the outdoor kitchen (which we did not use due to these issues). If I had known the actual condition of the home, I never would have rented it. But in fairness I will say that if repairs are made (and validated) and the cleaning issues are addressed, I would absolutely recommend it. We were all 100% in love with the property, but really wishing that it would be brought up to the standard that is fitting for such a beautiful setting—and paying customers.

Un posto stupendo con dei gestori estremamente amichevoli

Bellissimo posto, ben organizzato e con arredi funzionali .Ottimo relax e posti da visitare intorno molto interessanti. La piscina è una vera piscina e non una pozza ! Vale assolutamente la pena.

25 aprile in famiglia

Abbiamo approfittato di questi giorni di vacanza per regalarci una pausa in famiglia. Tutto molto bello, il casale poi è davvero in una posizione strategica, il 25 abbiamo visitato il paese e la fondazione Burri a Città di Castello, entrambi stupendi.

Meraviglia

Sono stata in questo splendido casale in occasione del mio 45mo compleanno, vista la grande disponibilità di spazio esterno ho invitato molti amici con i loro bambini. La festa anche grazie alla piscina è stata un successo, la casa è davvero confortevole e gode di uno splendido panorama. Ci torneremo!

Un luogo poetico e affascinante

E' più di una casa. E' un piccolo borgo inserito in un meraviglioso paesaggio. Perfettamente attrezzato a partire dalla bella ed efficiente piscina. Ci siamo con grande piacere tornati quest'anno e ci proponiamo di tornare ancora.

A fine property in a fine location

The family maintaining the place were generally friendly and helpful, and very kind in staying up late for our delayed arrival, but there were just a few failings: we found there only one nearly finished roll of toilet paper and no dishwasher powder or tablets, and there were a few too many of the family's own personal items left around the house. These are only small things but they could so easily be put right, and at no great expense, to improve the visitor experience still further. We enjoyed our time very much indeed both at the house and in Monte Castello di Vibio, Todi (particularly), Orvieto, Arrone (a jewel) and Perugia (where Paul Verhoeven was filming a scene for his new film, Benedetta!).

Hello Richard, sorry for the delay in the answer. I'm very sorry for the inconvenient of toliet paper and diswasher soap probably it was a forgetfulness of the cleaning staff, but it could simply be solved by asking the ladies who take care of the reception. As for our home-made things, we do it specifically to allow guests to use everything: colors, paper and games for children and bocce, basketball, mats and bicycles for everyone. A heavenly, secluded retreat with stunning views and beautiful gardens and pool.

We had a fantastic week here. A beautiful and elegant farmhouse, wonderfully secluded. It has views all around with a gorgeous pool set in spacious grounds. It had everything we could possibly want and more. We didn't want to leave and definitely want to return. Thank you to Vishmi and her family for looking after us so well and always being on hand for any questions we might have. Although it feels very remote and you are not overlooked, you can get into the town very quickly for shopping. Highly recommended if you want elegance, style and complete privacy.

Una meravigliosa casa/borgo a terrazze

E' un luogo molto bello. La casa è articolata in molti spazi di grande qualità al chiuso e all'aperto: dal soggiorno al piano terra all'altro al piano superiore che si apre su una terrazza per guardare luna e stelle. Incantevole la piscina. La descrizione era accurata. La casa perfettamente attrezzata e pulita e l'ospitalità molto cordiale ed efficiente. Ci torneremo con piacere

Great villa!

Un coin magique, isolé, pas facile d'accès d'ailleurs (prévoir une bon véhicule de location) mais la villa se mérite! Une fois bien accueillis par les propriétaires toujours disponibles en cas de pépin, on peut jouir d'une vue exceptionnelle sur les collines alentours, ici tout n'est que calme et beauté... Superbe jardin et très grande piscine. La vieille maison de Pierre typique du coin est bien agencée, confortable, avec une bonne literie. Bien équipée dans l'ensemble, avec une mention spéciale au four à pizza de la cuisine extérieure. Un très bon séjour en famille dans une région qui réserve de nombreux trésor italiens.

A holiday never to forget !!

Very beautifull place to spend your holiday. Charming house with nice swimmingpool. The outdoor Kitchen with bbq and pizza oven was a one of my preferred places :-). We had a great time and we did enjoy our stay!!!

Marvellous country house

Exceptional and very charming country house with maximum privacy in an idyllic scenery. Very spacy, well equipped and beautifully renovated, we really felt at home and enjoyed the large pool and the different cosy terras corners. We can really recommend it!

Un angolo di mediterraneo tra le colline umbre

Ringrazio Massimigliano per averci permesso di soggiornare in questo angolo di paradiso; io e i miei amici abbiamo trascorso una settimana fantastica; l'accoglienza riservatami è stata delle migliori , tale da farmi sentire a casa. Il casale è molto bello e fornito di tutto quello che può servire, è il luogo ideale per godersi la compagnia degli amici o della famiglia; si trova fuori dal mondo così da potersi rilassare nel bellissimo giardino e usufruire della piscina ,tutto il giorno; inoltre è vicino a molti luoghi di interesse sia naturalistici che culturali. Raccomando una visita al vicinissimo borgo di Monte Castello di Vibio è una vera chicca. Spero di riuscire a tornarci! grazie ancora di tutto Benedetta

Belle maison avec vue typique d'ombrie

Maison totalement conforme à la description. Maison confortable, impeccable ,et cuisine bien équipée, piscine et terrasse très agréable. Aucune guêpe autour de la piscine ce qui est assez rare !! Bref, nous avons passe une semaine idyllique dans cette maison, et reviendrons avec plaisir. Très bon accueil de massimiliano. Maison à recommander

un havre de paix

Notre semaine de vacances en famille a été vraiment un grand plaisir pour tous dans cette villa en plein milieu de la campagne. L'intérieur est spacieux et confortable permet à chacun d'être à l'aise. Les extérieurs sont parfaits pour profiter du climat : plusieurs endroits abrités pour manger dehors, une grande piscine ( chauffée par le soleil tout l'après midi) et un cuisine extérieure très agréable, on peut même se prendre pour un pizzaïolo d'un soir avec un four à bois. Bref il s'agit d'une belle propriété, bien entretenue et équipée qui permet de se retirer au calme pour couler des jours de repos très agréables.

The house has a large garden, a nice pool with kitchen an grill free. the whole house and garden are very clean,the owner is very kind,we can recommend the house to friends all th days
