Thanks May for your review. Lake had lots of debris from the flooding and yes we cleaned and burned it for a week while you were here as did TRA piers etc around the lake but, for the public, our boat launch is back in service, people using it the next weekend, and we normally launch shallow to medium shallow draft boats here. Hi Jessica, thanks for your review but where are these gators you mentioned? We told you of two on the far side of the bridge in the wetland over 1/2 mile away that have been there 15 years, never bothered or hurt anyone, and haven't seen any here so would love to know more especially since we still don't have any here yet.

Hi Kimberly, Thanks for your review. Fishing is actually great here this time of year but most don't fish at daybreak in morning or in evening so tend to miss it and yes in the heat of day they go to our bridge where we direct folks and that is better on sunny hotter days.

We are sorry Elena did not enjoy her stay but this is likely more from a competitor than any truth about this as evidenced by so many other great reviews both before and after her. Ditto we checked with them while they were here, she said everything was fine, everything worked well, nothing was broke, nothing not maintained including from people right before and after her, and per our checks between guests. Also other people were catching fish and swimming while they were here and some of the reviews on our other cabins during same period mention and confirm it. We try to help with anything if we know about it, even fishing cause sometimes you need to use different bait, do different times of day, move, present different, etc, same as anywhere else. Ditto with alligators as we say in the listing occasionally once per year momma spends one day, drops off baby, and as usual the baby who can do NO harm at 2.5 to 3.5' length, finds too much activity here and leaves. Momma also wouldn't drop of baby here if no fish but she doesn't know about our activities cause she lives back on other side of bridge and only comes once per year usually in May for drop off. Anyway a lot of what Elena says just is not true -see other reviews. If you have an issue, everyplace does on occasion, just learn to tell us while you are here and we can work it. But places are cleaned well, maintenance done well and unkept, chickens are ours cause we live here and occasionally let them roam in our fenced backyard but they don't visit cabins and many people ask to bring children to see them. If you don't say anything, there is absolutely no way we can try to make it better, and you can tell by other reviews that we do try to do well by you!
