We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful home, and it was the perfect getaway for our family. The house itself is gorgeous—comfortable, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The ocean view is absolutely spectacular and made our stay even more special.Celia was wonderful to work with. She was incredibly helpful and responded quickly whenever I had a question, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return in the future!

Family time at the beach

This property is ideal for large groups that include children. a dorm layout on the third floor, double bedrooms on the second floor were ideal. Balconies, patio, proximity to the beach were fabulous. The owners stayed in touch throughout our stay. Overall an A+ home.

Great House and Great Host

This house is huge...we had a family of 8 and didn't even use the upper floor. We had one small issue and the host responded immediately. The house was stocked with many items, and we didn't really need anything other than our food. We used the outdoor firepit and the views were great. Neighborhood is very quiet and seemed like many families around. Internet and cell coverage was good. Definitely recommend this house and host.

A little bit of Heaven

What an incredible house and property. The house was everything they advertised and more. The waterfront property was to die for (but don’t do that -simply enjoy it). There was absolutely nothing wrong with this house. Well stocked and we’ll appointed. If we were to make any recommendations, they would be the following: 1. Recommend having directions for adjusting the A/C temperature. We couldn’t get the remote to work. 2. Recommend blackout shades in the bedrooms in the back of the house. The sunrise is so beautiful but incredibly bright at 0500. 😄 But please, these are not complaints but simply recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend the property to friends!

Great for certain folks.

As a large diverse family from CA & MA, we found the house & location nearly perfect. It’s just a (wobbly) staircase up from the beach. The proximity to the beach made it easy for kids to play & for adults to relax. The house is spacious, with plenty of beds to accommodate us. The beach chairs & toys in basement were great. The basement was cluttered & we had to move items to access chairs & life vests. We left it neater than we found. There were maintenance issues. Broken kitchen cabinet door. Screens in all the retractable screen doors were ripped. The hard-wired smoke alarm system failed, causing them to go off non-stop. Following the owners instructions we disabled them for the rest of our stay, which felt unsafe. The neighborhood is mostly white, and as a diverse group, we occasionally felt unwelcome & watched. This detracted from our sense of comfort. After checkout, the owners stated we violated checkout instructions. There was no manual, just a paper on the fridge noting trash day is Friday. We did everything we thought we should; we forgot to empty bathroom trash. Someone got ketchup on the white rug under the dining table & we couldn't get it out. We said we’d pay a fee for this but were charged $550; seems outrageous. We were shocked due to us overlooking the maintenance issues. Given the maintenance, neighborhood dynamics, & excessive fee, we won’t return. For those who prioritize proximity to the beach, it's an option. Diverse families might consider elsewhere.

The implication the guest is making is quite false as we are a large and diverse family. We have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years and our neighbors are all welcoming and friendly. The guest neglects to say that they were quite disrespectful of the property. . The trash cans were not rolled out. The carpet was permanently damaged and had to be replaced. The washing machine was full of sand and our cleaning lady spent hours removing the sand. The fees charged were for the carpet replacement and the extra cleaning fee. The basement was clean and organized before the arrival and was a mess after the guest left. The alarm system was checked after the guest checked out. It was a holiday weekend and we did not want to disturb the guest again to repair it. I was in contact with the guest and we did rectify the problem with the alarm during the stay.

Thanksgiving Visit

Wonderful property on the water. It was cold in November but we still loved the beautiful views. Close enough to travel to Boston and Salem. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at the Pautuxet Museum. The home was large enough to put the kids upstairs and still enjoy some quiet. Would love to go back in the summer.

Awesome home!

Beautiful home and location for large family gathering. The LR bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious. It was fully stocked with absolutely anything you needed. Plenty of beach chairs for the outside. Homeowner responded immediately to any questions I asked ahead of time. We will definitely be back next year!!!

Celebration of Mom’s Life 5 yr Anniversary

Wow! What a wonderful stay in such a beautiful home. Celia was easy to work with and accommodated our trips schedule. The bedroom on the main floor has a walk-in shower with handicap railings and a seat that was extremely helpful for my 89 yr old father. My sisters and I had the 2nd and 3rd floors to ourselves and the bathrooms were very large and able to have us get ready easily without stepping over each other. The bedroom views were breathtaking and the beds were very comfortable. The main floor was perfect for us to have our local cousins come for dinner and to celebrate with us. The flow of the house was perfect and the large sectional couch in the living room was more than enough seating. The sunroom was a nice area to sit and read, watch beautiful sunrises and listen to the ocean. The home is more wonderful in person and my father was very comfortable and enjoyed himself which was very important to us. We could not have been more pleased with everything. We definitely will stay there again if you’ll have us. Thank you Celia for accommodating us and sharing your beautiful home with my family.

Wonderful stay for my family!

Good for the most part

Pros - check in was smooth, property was clean and well stocked. Cons - the house is big square footage wise but is across three levels,so itfeels cramped due to having only a small living area in the first floor where most of the time is normally spent. Looked like the owners occupy this in the summer - there were trails of their living everywhere - used razors, every closet had their clothes in the hangers, used cosmetics , fridge had half spent groceries etc. It felt a little intrusive to use the space and was not designed completely to be a professional rental. But I should add though that Celia was very gracious and helpful - she offered for us to use the contents in the pantry and fridge. My review might be influenced by the fact that we went in cold weather, so we couldn't take advantage of the outdoor space the house had to offer.

Perfect for a peaceful extended family getaway

Stayed at the property with my parents, two sisters, their spouses, and our combined 4 boys (aged 3, 4, 9, and 11). It was the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. We took lots of long walk on the beach, thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful backyard, and we all had plenty of room to stretch out inside the lovely home. The views were spectacular, and the accommodations were perfect. Looking forward to another trip here in the future.
