Willkommen auf der Legacy Ranch!

Das Sieben Salthaus ist für große und kleine Versammlungen konzipiert. Bestehend aus einer geräumigen Küche, einem Esszimmer, einem Familienzimmer, einem Frühstücksbereich und 4 Schlafzimmern mit ausreichend Schlafmöglichkeiten können Sie Ihre Familie und Gäste bequem unterbringen und unterhalten. Ein leichtes Frühstück und eine Kaffeestation am Morgen erwarten Sie oder Sie können leckere Mahlzeiten zubereiten, nachdem Sie sich in der Stadt eingedeckt haben. Mit tadelloser Aufmerksamkeit für Design und Komfortdetails werden Sie Ihren Aufenthalt hier sehr genießen.

Das Sieben Salthouse wurde Anfang Mai 2018 mit frischer Farbe, neuen Leuchten, neuen Küchengeräten, neuen Möbeln und dekorativen Accessoires neu gestaltet. Es wurde geschmackvoll von The Savant Home aus Austin, Texas, entworfen, wobei Komfort an erster Stelle steht.

Das Sieben Salt Box Haus ist nach der Mutter, dem Vater und fünf Kindern der Familie Okerholm benannt, die die Legacy Ranch besitzen und betreiben.

Das zweistöckige Haus wurde 1998 fertiggestellt und ist eine Nachbildung einer Salzkiste im deutschen Stil aus den 1880er Jahren. Während des Unterrichts wurde dem Äußeren und Inneren bis hin zum antiken Drahtzaun mit doppelter Jakobsmuschel, der auf antiken Zedernpfosten angebracht war, wie dem Zaun für den Dr. Okerholm Loghaus kam von der LBJ Ranch in der Nähe von Stonewall. Das Haus ist als zwei separate Wohnbereiche angeordnet, obwohl wir sie zusammen reservieren.

Auf der unteren Ebene finden Sie drei große Zimmer, die als Familienzimmer, Esszimmer, ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett, eine herrliche Sitzecke und ein Memory Foam-Rollbett mit zwei Einzelbetten für ein Zustellbett dienen. Dieses Schlafzimmer ist mit einem angrenzenden Schlafzimmer mit einem perfekt ausgestatteten Einzelbett verbunden.

Die Hauptküche ist eine Küche in voller Größe mit Geräten in voller Größe und fast jedem anderen Gerät und Komfort, den Sie zu Hause benötigen: Kaffeestation mit Kaffeemühle, Crock Pot / Slow Cooker, elektrische Pfanne für ein großes ländliches Frühstück oder Abendessen für ein Dutzend, 4 Scheiben Toaster und mehr. Das Badezimmer ist bezaubernd, gut eingerichtet und verfügt über eine schöne entspannende Badewanne. Die untere Ebene enthält auch eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner für das Haus.

Die obere Ebene ist über die Außentreppe zugänglich und umfasst einen großen Wohnbereich mit Queen-Size-, Full-Size- und einem Doppelbett, einen Schreibtisch und einen entspannenden Sitzbereich. Für zusätzliche Gäste gibt es ein zusätzliches ausziehbares Doppelbett, die sich beide im Schrank im Obergeschoss befinden. Diese Ebene verfügt auch über eine Küchenzeile mit Spüle, Kühlschrank unter der Theke und Mikrowelle. Aus der Küchenzeile ist ein schönes Badezimmer mit einem 6 'Whirlpool und Oberlicht. Hinter der Küchenzeile befindet sich ein großes Schlafzimmer mit drei Einzelbetten sowie ein Schrank. Der Bodenbelag ist 12 "Holzbrett, gebeizt und Leinöl ölbeschichtet.

Die Legacy Ranch Guest Houses befinden sich auf einem 12 Hektar großen, geschlossenen Grundstück, nur 8 Minuten von der Main Street in Fredericksburg entfernt. Wenn Sie das gesamte Anwesen buchen möchten, nicht nur das Sieben Salthaus, bietet die Legacy Ranch Platz für 28 Personen.

A quiet, clean place

Lovely, well-maintained home that is tastefully decorated and comfortable. One can imagine seeing this home on HGTV as a perfected "after". Lots of space for a family with numerous twin beds, which are mostly upstairs. As it should be, the kitchen serves as the heart of this home with a nice table for gathering for games, talk, and of course, dining. The living room has a club-feel to it with overstuffed seating, and lots of it. Though we were there on a cold, wet weekend, the outside space is very nice with a patio, firepit, and grill. Very handy space for enjoying an evening outdoors. Excellent experience. I have no complaints! The only unexpected, though not necessarily negative things were (1) it's remote, so there is no TV service, satellite or otherwise and (2) the upstairs access is via an external staircase. For some, the lack of TV is a huge plus as if facilitates family time. For our guys' "bike ride weekend" during the Masters, it necessitated a trip to town to catch golf at a local watering hole, which is only 10 minutes away. The TV craving is probably unique to us, but just be aware. As to the external access, that was absolutely fine for us, though I can see how families with younger kids would be a little unsettled by their kids being outside of earshot - but that could be awesome as well! Thank you for a memorable weekend. The facilities are excellent!

Amazing Stay

Our group of 8 women stayed for the weekend for our annual “ya-ya” gathering. Our age ranges were 22 to 78! We loved the Sieben Salthaus. Everything was perfect. April and Erik (and Bella the dog) are fantastic hosts. They replied immediately to any questions we had via text. The property is beautiful, fantastic decor, and all necessities are supplied. April has thought through everything to make your stay the best. The house was spotless, and the beds were dreamy. Several of us slept better than we did at home! We love the fire pit on the patio too. Stay here! You will not regret it!

Great Family Trip

This property was everything we hoped it would be. The house was beautifully decorated. There was ample space for our family to spread out during the day. In the evening our family sat on the back porch around a fire, sharing stories and memories with our children and their grandparents under the hill country sky. At night we slept is extremely beds. On the day we checked out, April went above in beyond, and showed our family some of the other houses onsite, telling us the history of the property. Great owner, Great location

Amazing Property

We had an amazing ladies trip at Legacy Ranch. The house is clean, airy, bright, and everything farmhouse. Such attention to detail with cute little touches throughout. Almost every room was magazine worthy and ready for a chic photo op! We had 8 ladies in our group and there are 8 separate beds which were all super comfy. Plenty of seating in the outdoor area with, again, farmhouse fab. We all agreed it would be a lovely place for a wedding and bridal portraits. We will definitely be back! April and Erik are very responsive and have a ton of recommendations for your stay in the hill country.

Large Family in town for wedding

My extended family rented this house for the weekend as we were in town for a wedding. The house was wonderful and perfect for us! Beautifully decorated and wonderful outdoor space for family time to hangout. By far the BEST beds we’ve ever slept on at a VRBO. Property was beautiful, about 9 miles from city center. A one of kind find and experience. My entire family loved our stay at Legacy Ranch

My family of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids 7 and 4 yrs.) recently stayed at the Sieben Salthaus for the New Year's holiday and had an amazing stay. The entire property is wonderful and the house itself was beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing your own meals at home. The bedrooms and baths are also well equipped with quality linens. For being in a secluded property, it's location is conveniently less than 10 min. from Fredericksburg. We had shops, restaurants, and HEB not too far from the rental. We even drove 20 min, to Llano to eat Barbecue at the famous Cooper's. On the way back we enjoyed an impressive sunset as we drove pass Enchanted Rock national park. We had the opportunity to meet April and Eric who are very gracious hosts. They gave us a tour of the other 2 homes in the property which we also fell in love with and hope to have the opportunity to stay in sometime soon. April's interior decorating skills and taste are impeccable. All homes have a rustic charm yet all highly "sophisticated" as well as with all of the basic commodities. The only negative is the poor cell phone reception which is beyond the owners' control. Also, we couldn't utilize all the single beds for our children as we had hoped for, as they are too small and a bit high for our young kids whom we know would have fallen at night. We still made it work as there were plenty larger beds also in the 2nd floor. For new year's eve, Eric the owner helped us turn on the small fire-pit in the back patio for our kids to enjoy s'mores as we rang in the New Year. The stars couldn't have shined more brightly that night, it was quite a priceless experience. Overall we truly enjoyed our short Fredericksburg vacation, and Legacy Ranch was the perfect place for creating family memories. We're definitely already spreading the voice and hope to return in the spring to enjoy the blue bonnets. Thank you April and Eric for the opportunity. You guys have done an amazing job. Husband and Wife, aka Total Soulmates and each other's person! She's an interior decorator, remodeler & visionary and never sees problems--only potential! He works in software and frequently says, "I'm just labor!" Since her creativity never stops, neither does he, but they definitely complement each other in every way.

Together, they have three daughters and one son: 18 year old academically-motivated daughter & animal lover, 20 year old college baseball pitcher, 25 year old graphic designer & pastry chef & a 29 year old incredibly talented animal portrait artist & unique organically-harvested taxidermy artist.

As proud owners of Legacy Ranch Guest Houses & Wedding Chapel in Fredericksburg, Texas, they want to share this beautiful & meaningful place with others. Legacy Ranch is a very special place in that each house is named after a parent who had a big impact on the world. Legacy Ranch was a dream come true and is an incredibly special place for our family and friends. Fredericksburg has been a sweet spot in our hearts for years and we wanted to merge the beauty of the Texas hill country with the story of some of our family members and honor those who have had a big impact on the world.

Although they're beautiful year-round, the houses inspire the magic of Christmas when each house and every room is impeccably decorated the first week of December. Past guests tell us their family memories were greatly enriched when they celebrated Christmas here. The Dr. Okerholm Loghaus provides a cozy and quaint Christmas with sparkling lights and nature-inspired decor. The Sieben Salthaus incorporates its German heritage with Nutcrackers, brightly colored ornaments and more than a few Christmas trees throughout the house. The N.K. Harper Barnhouse holds a massive 14 foot star-topped tree with decorations true to Texas and the house's namesake. The columns of the barn are accented with long strands of garland and sweet Christmas decor you've likely never see before.

While acquiring the property, we found a magical sweet spot that we knew would capture the incredible magic and abundant love this place holds...guests can be married here under the glowing shady post oaks & massive ambient chandeliers in Legacy Chapel.

Whether it be at dusk or you choose an intimate night time wedding, the canopy of trees will be illuminated while three 5' tall, 5.5' wide chandeliers provide the perfect sparkle of light. Legacy Ranch Guest Houses sleeps 24 across three historic guest houses on a private gated ranch located just 8 minutes from Main Street in Fredericksburg, Texas.
