Wonderful place! We celebrated my parents 40th anniversary here and the house perfectly suited our large family. Fenced yard was wonderful for pets and small children, hot tub was a hit with the adults in the evening, campfire in the evening was relaxing, and the noise and view of the ocean was beautiful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

Ocean View Vacation

We were very impressed with this home and all the amenities! Huge, well equipped kitchen, high chair, baby gate, game room, toys, were unexpected conveniences! We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub listening to the surf and reminiscing around the fire pit! This home accomodated our family of 12 adults, 3 infants and 1 toddler nicely. We definetly recommend this property!

Perfect retreat!

Despite not having direct access to the water we had an amazing time and the house was perfect! We all had plenty of room to spread out or gather for meals or time together. The kitchen was easily the best stocked out of all the homes any of us have ever rented and the porch space and hot tub was great! The home is only a mile from Yachats and a few more miles from thors well and other site seeing areas and trails. We would absolutely rent this place again!

Great family reunion

Ocean views from this property are fantastic. The hot tub was a perfect location at sunset. We ended up with more bedrooms than needed since we lost a family member between booking and the stay. The kids loved the bunkbeds.We had a couple of technical issues but the owner was very responsive.

Excellent for Large Gatherings

This house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering over the holidays. Because of the many bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms, we were very comfortably accommodated. There was excellent separation of spaces so that concurrent activities didn’t disturb others who might be sleeping, or engaged in other activities. The many pieces of furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen extraordinarily well stocked with appliances and typical kitchen food supplies. Two refrigerators kept all our food and drinks cold. The town of Yachats is just a short drive or walk. We enjoyed the view of the ocean, though there is no beach, but it is within a short drive. The game room was well stocked with games and puzzles in the loft. This house accommodated both adults and kids. Finally, the hosts, Kristen and Erik, were very responsive during the reservation process, and follow up questions. This definitely is a 5 star accommodation for large gatherings.

Amazing property for a large group

A total of 10 adults occupied this very comfortable beach house, and we had room to spare! We particularly enjoyed the common areas in the house where we could enjoy meals together, talk in small groups, play games, etc. The deck is amazing. The house has more bedrooms and baths than indicated in the property listing - the owner can provide a complete description. Some things were a bit wonky (particularly the light switches and electrical configuration), but it wasn't a problem. To my surprise, the kitchen had everything you need to cook proper meals and then some. We were surprised that so much food was left behind - you will definitely find staples and a whole lot more! The location of the house is wonderful. Though it doesn't connect directly to the beach, it's a short walk. Downtown Yachats is very close and offers some nice restaurants and other amenities. This is the perfect house for a large family, a reunion, or any other type of gathering.

Cook's Dream Kitchen!

Our family of 12 found everything we could wish for. Decks for sunset watching, barbeque feasts, conversations and games. Beaches and hikes nearby. A kitchen with every possible tool, cooking pots and pans, spices and oils, flour, sugar and more. Guests are urged to use and share cupboards full of surprises! Room to be together, and room to be private. A perfect house!

Yearly family beach time

The house is designed to accommodate large groups with a beautiful fenced area including a private cabin. It's the best stocked house i have ever stayed in. Annual Girl’s Weekend

We loved the home. The main level and bedroom are easily accessible for people with mobility issues. The home is well equipped and stocked with staples, condiments and other food items. The kitchen is well organized and included everything we needed to take turns cooking. The view is great. We were there during bad weather so we didn’t use the deck much. I look forward to going back to enjoy the hot tub with ocean view and the fire pit.

Annual coast family gathering

The house and accommodations were fantastic! This house has it all!!! Rooms and beds galore, game room, TV in every room in the house, plenty of bathrooms and kitchen wise - everything you have in your own home + much more!!! (And the view is amazing). Only draw back is not having direct beach access - but getting to ocean is a super easy drive. For walkers - not bad either. The owners were very nice and prompt with replies. Don’t miss this one!!

Hiking group get away

My group of hiking women needed a home base for a weekend of exploring the hiking trails on the Central Oregon Coast. This house was PERFECT! It was large, clean, adorably decorated and it had everything we needed. The kitchen is incredibly WELL STOCKED. If I have another large group that needs coastal lodging, this will be the first place I look to book.

We enjoyed the stay at this property. The description of the property was accurate and with the number of people we had, the number of bedrooms and beds were very acommodating. The kitchen was well stocked for everything we needed. The dining room wasn't large enough for all of us to eat at one table but we knew that ahead of time and we adapted. Overall great stay and will probably book the place again for the next family gathering.

I grew up in Hubbard, Oregon, and today I run a memory care community in Central Oregon, along with a few other small businesses in the Willamette Valley, and a little farm that keeps us busy.
The Oregon Coast, stormy or sunny, has always been one of my favorite places to make memories. I love crabbing and clamming whenever I can.
This Yachats beach house is one of our happy places. It's perfect for sitting out on the deck, listening to the waves crash against the rock, and if you're lucky, spotting an occasional whale.
