 Captain Arnold liegt etwas außerhalb der bezaubernden Stadt Waldport und ist der perfekte Zufluchtsort fĂŒr kleine bis mittelgroße Gruppen, die ihren nĂ€chsten Oregon Coast-Urlaub planen.

Es gibt fĂŒnf Schlafzimmer, darunter drei Master-Suiten, und ein Spielzimmer mit Tagesbett und Rollbett, verteilt auf 2.700 Quadratmeter. Die GourmetkĂŒche, die mit allen neuen GerĂ€ten ausgestattet ist, wird bei den Feinschmeckern Ihrer Party mit Sicherheit ein Hit sein. FĂŒr diejenigen, die lieber am Strand spielen möchten, bis die Abendglocke lĂ€utet, ist der Esstisch groß genug fĂŒr die ganze Party. Wir haben die Kinder, ob alt oder jung, nicht vergessen. Die Garage hat einige Spiele und es ist ein großartiger Ort fĂŒr die Kinder! Zwischen dem Whirlpool und der Feuerstelle gibt es bei jedem Wetter einen großartigen Ort, um den Abend zu verbringen.

TagsĂŒber ist der Zugang zum Privatstrand Ihr Tor zu kilometerlangen SandstrĂ€nden. Nur 50 Meter vom Haus entfernt lĂ€dt ein kleiner Gezeitenbach, der durch den Sand fließt, dazu ein, erkundet zu werden. Und es ist alles nur Sekunden von der HintertĂŒr dieses atemberaubenden Hauses an der KĂŒste von Oregon entfernt.

Beautiful home, well appointed, with relaxing vibes! Our family of 9 had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors or relax inside. Loved the view, bedrooms, back deck, and kitchen. Hot tub was enjoyed, fire pit looked great, we just didn’t get a chance to use it. Negatives- although there are plenty of fees with vacation rentals, this one doesn’t have a cleaning fee, so the downside is having to do a pretty long list of chores at the end of your vacation- not our favorite thing to do, we’d rather a cleaning fee so we could relax to the last moment! It was a beautiful home and we’re sure you’d enjoy your time there!

Captain Arnold is Amazing!

What a wonderful property in an incredible location! Our family fell in love with Captain Arnold from the moment we arrived. Everything is very high quality, perfectly clean and has that cozy feel. It is even better than in the pictures. Just perfect for us and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful home right on the ocean!

We loved our time here with our adult children & their spouses! 5 bedrooms with king or queen beds. Updated bathrooms and well-appointed kitchen. Loved the deck, hot tub with ocean view, and the fire pit. Close to Waldport, Newport and Yachats. We will definitely stay here again!

The house was so lovely and exactly as described. The kitchen was extremely well stocked except for forks. The two dishwashers helped. The view was incredible and better than even imagined with the big windows. We only had two complaints about the house - the upstairs south shower doesn't drain and there are several window screens need to be fixed. Loved the house and would stay there again anytime.

Great Vacation with Family

Captain Arnolds did not disappoint. Spectacular home in a beautiful setting. Close enough to the sights and attractions but remote enough to have solitude. There were eight of us, four from California and four from Washington State...kind of like a family reunion....aunts and nephew's family. We ranged from 21 to 74 years of age and had a great time over the four-day period. We enjoyed the amenities such as the hot tub, the ping-pong table and the jigsaw puzzles. The kitchen is huge and well stocked...we particularly appreciated the stock of condiments and spices, since a grocery store is not exactly close-by. The property manager was quick to respond to issues that we reported...minor repairs that were handled the same day. Would we come again? In a heartbeat.

This property had it all for our annual family beach trip! There were 10 of us, and we were all very comfortable. We had a few snafus, which weren't a big deal overall: the washing machine was out of order, which would have been no problem, had we been informed before we arrived. We would have packed differently had we known we couldn't wash clothes during our stay! Also, the heat stopped working right in the middle of our stay. The property manager quickly had someone out to the house, and although he couldn't fix the heater, he brought us 2 space heaters, which did a decent enough job for the remainder of our stay. We had to be careful of where we plugged in the heaters, though, because we would blow the fuse if we plugged them both in the same room! I thought it strange that after they brought the space heaters, no one checked in with us to make sure we were getting warm (it's a big house!). It all worked out, and we really did enjoy our vacation. There were definitely enough beds/bedrooms, all comfortable, and everything was very clean. The beach access is stellar, private access exclusively for this house, and easy for everyone in our family to get down to the beach. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. We sunned ourselves on the deck, even though it was cold and windy, it was very sunny for the first part of our stay. We even enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard! Lots of comfortable chairs! The hot tub was clean with a beautiful view. Overall, we loved the home!

Great beach spot for medium to large groups

Our part of 8 had a wonderful time staying a weekend here on the coast. The house is beautiful with amazing ocean views and immediate beach access, a great big kitchen, a great sitting area, and large dining table. The bedrooms are all spacious, but some of the beds are more comfortable than others. A few were not too great, but not terrible. Under most circumstances you can't go wrong with this place if you want to be right on the ocean and have lots of comfortable space. Our stay was made less than ideal by stormy weather which knocked out the power for much of one of our days, meaning heat, lights, appliances, etc. did not work. Not the fault of the hosts, but it did put a damper on our experience. However, they were gracious and worked with us to compensate for the misfortune, so we really appreciated that level of service. Wouldn't hesitate to go back, just maybe not in the middle of winter...

Best Family Vaca!

We had the best time staying in this gorgeous house! We had extended family ages 4-85. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or find their own space. The views from the living room and the back deck were phenomenal. The beds/pillows were super comfortable. The furniture was comfortable also. Easy access to the beach and in the middle of all the action on the coast. The added touch of having multiple blankets to wrap in when it was chilly outside was an unexpected delight! Highly recommend this place to stay as your home base/oasis while exploring the millions of adventures that await you!

Just what we had hoped for

Check-in was seamless. No surprises. We had only a few interactions with the host over email, but they were quick to respond and provided relevant information. We were interrupted briefly to address some outdoor maintenance but were given plenty of notice and the maintenance people notified us upon arrival and did not get in our way at all. We would definitely recommend this rental and love to stay again sometime.

Perfect

We love this place so much, this is not our first stay here and it won’t be our last. We only had 4 on this trip but there is plenty of room for a large group. Everything has been updated and remodeled. The ceiling to floor windows bring the outdoors in while inviting you out to the deck where the fire pit is conveniently located. You are literally on the beach which is spectacular plus it felt like the sunset was strategically placed just for us. Definitely 5 stars. Thank you!
