We do supply a starter pack of salt, pepper and shampoos but if this somehow got missed we apologize. We would have happily brought some to the property for you had we known. I am sorry to say that sadly this guest was a nightmare to all staff reducing people to tears with her bully tactics. She called the cleaner the day after arriving complaining about the rain and her inability to make a fire. When the cleaner arrived with more fire starters and other items to aid she was yelled at non-stop as she made a fire, guest had no interest in learning how to make a fire. Noticing that the dehumidifier was not working our cleaner called the handyman to fix it and asked him to cut smaller pieces of wood for the guests. Our handyman promptly came over and was yelled at and treated with an amazing amount disrespect. He cut wood, tried to show them how to make a fire, but alas when you are yelling you are not hearing. The next day this guest called the handyman again yelling that his fix to the dehumidifier was not working, it is hard to fix things when someone is standing over you yelling. He fixed it this time, again tried to show her how to make a fire and again she made him feel horrible. On day 3 the guest finally called the property manager to complain. I timed her yelling at me before I could even say a word.. 10 minutes. The type of yelling reminded me of a young child having a temper tantrum. She told me she hated it there and could not spend another night. I told her to please leave; and that if she left by end of day that I would refund her half of her stay. After telling me she DID NOT WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT in the house she then told me that I was a bad property manager and that was not a solution SHE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. After more yelling and screaming by her I asked her what she wanted me to do. Her answer was to install heat to the house. This is impossible as we do not have heat in Hawaii. I offered to find her other accommodation and asked her again to leave, she refused. I shared that unless she left our "deal" was off. I called VRBO to complain about her and they told me to call the police and evict her. I wish I had but we practice aloha here. Regarding laundry: The house had a check out the day this guest checked in and some sheets were still drying in the dryer when the cleaner had to leave for this guests check in time. A note was left explaining about the clean sheets in the dryer. The guest THREW THEM OUTSIDE on the DIRT she bragged to me during her ranting that she had done so.The cleaner returned yet again to take them home and yet again made her a fire and yet again was yelled at.
