Pat was a terrific hostess and we REALLY enjoyed our time in Harpswell at the cottage.The house was charming and had everything you might possibly need. It's a perfect spot for a small family or a couple of friends, like us.Our dogs loved having a fenced in yard to run around in! We loved being able to walk down the street to buy lobster right off the boat. Thanks Pat for helping us have a memorable visit to Maine.

Great stay! Pat is great at communicating and making sure you have everything you need. We had a small hiccup, and she was fast to get the situation handled. As other reviews state, the ceilings are low, so better for shorter people, my dad did have to hunch, however, we were aware of this when booking.

It was wonderful to have Tess & Richard as our Guests at The Cottage @ AshPoint. They communicated with us & were very understanding when we encountered a slight problem prior to their arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed having our Houston Guests back for a 2nd stay @ The Cottage @ AshPoint in our wonderful Harpswell Community along with our 4 footed friend Gracie. Our Guests were great at keeping us notified of any of their needs during their 4 week stay & the Neighbors found them lovely also! We are so glad that they enjoyed the cnvenience of Harpswell as a jumping off point to all of the attrctions in our Mid-Coast Maine Community & were able to relax during their stay with us. Safe travels back to our dear Houston & please come back again!

The Cottage in Harpswell was a wonderful home to stay in during our trip to Maine! Pat & Beth were very easy to contact and answered all of our questions made us feel like family. the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made our time there very easy and comfortable. Was accurately presented, yard was great for dogs. Comfortable couched and quiet area, no major issues, owner was nice and provided free water bottles and very communicative.

It was great to have George & Beth & their Service dogs as our Guests @ The Cottage @ AshPoint. They all seemed to have a wonderfultime - let us know what they needed & seemed to have no issues. Cottage at Ash Point

The cottage was very sweet. it was very comfortable and had great amenities like two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. It was a quiet area and near all that we wanted to do in Harpswell. Pat and her team were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to stay again.

Lovely stay home in Harpswell

Good communication and information from the owner before and during our stay. Our dogs loved the fenced yard, and daily walks to the water, the owner made them feel welcome with dog treats upon arrival. We appreciated the fresh flowers. The cottage is an easy drive to many fun things, including beaches, theatre, state parks, museums, and lobster.

What a Fantastic Experience

This cottage was gorgeous and it puts you about 25 minutes from Brunswick and a very driveable distance from Portland and Acadia/Bar Harbor. The small town of Harpswell was gorgeous and it was exactly what my husband and I (with our dog Luna) needed for a vacation. I would stay at Pat’s cottage again in a heartbeat. What a great find. Thanks for the great experience Pat!

The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked for every need. Patricia is a very accommodating, communicative and helpful host. We have loved living in such a beautiful location with water access a few hundred meters away in addition to the many outdoor recreation spots we have discovered in Harpswell. Would recommend for anyone.

Nothing beats a summer in Maine! Such a beautiful location with lovely people. We loved our 6 week stay at the Cottage. The ceilings are low, it is true, but it is part of the charm. A bit of a drive to some of the well known locations, but I would encourage any visitor to walk to the landing at low and high tide, visit Stover's point at low tide, Pott's preserve, ice cream at Pammy's, dinner at Dolphin Marina- these are all 2-10 min min away! This will be a summer our family never forgets. We miss Maine already.

Wow! Both The Cottage and the area of Harpswell are truly hidden gems.

Pat couldn’t have been more accommodating in what she provided her quests for making a stay @ The Cottage feel like a home from home. The Harpswell area is so not touristy; you are situated right in the middle of the local lobster industry. As first time visitors to Maine, staying @ The Cottage and the Harpswell area, we felt like one of the locals. Watching the lobster fleet come in each day; the sunsets; these are made to order stress busters! Don’t miss this opportunity.

The McGeorge Family & Co. I am so sorry that I did not write a review of your stay The Cottage @ AshPoint last year - Somehow I overlooked this. I want to say that the Guests had a wonderful time even though the trip started off a little rough due to a personal tragedy before they arrived. We were so glad that we could make their stay comfortable & accommodate their needs by the extras that we provide for all our Guests. And the fenced yard that offers privacy for both 2 footed & 4 footed alike! Plus - there was a guest from "across the pond" that also got to experience the best that the USA/Maine has to offer. We are always thrilled when Guests get to experience the Mid Coast of Maine & especially the Harpswell Community. There is so much to do OR just relax & get some down time as you watch the sunset & the boats come in by the shore. Then - enjoy the wonderful food that the area offers. Hope you come back again - you were delightful & thank you for leaving our Cottage so neat & tidy. -

Nice Getaway

We had a great week's long stay at this property that is off the beaten path in a quiet community. The property was fully stocked with everything you would need. A quick walk down the street offered a public spot where the kids fished and skipped rocks. People walking by were very friendly. Just a thing to note if you are tall is that the house does not have tall ceilings. I would definitely recommend if you are a family looking to explore all around Maine.

Great spot for a Maine Vacation

We had a great time at the cottage. Pat and her assistant were very responsive including managing a water heater issue with minimal disruption to our trip. The cottage was well equipped with all the essentials. Relaxing at the cottage in the evenings was great on the post Comfy VRBO couch ever. The beds were also very comfortable. The local area was great to explore. We used the Harpswell guide at the house to find several trails for short hikes. Pammys for ice cream was a hit with our granddaughter and we enjoyed Ericas for lobster rolls. The local beaches were a fun escape as well. All in all a great location and a great Maine escape.

It was such a honor to have Christy & her Family as our Guests @ The Cottage @ AshPoint . The adventure to Maine started off a bit rough as we had a water heater issue BUT our great group of contractors came out on a Saturday & fixed the issue. Our Guests could then relax & enjoy their trip to Maine & the Harpswell Community! The Family had a great time & we could not be happier to have them with us - A return trip would definitely be welcomed! So great to have them & we thank you for leaving everything so neat & tidy. Such a great place to stay in Harpswell

We stayed at Pat’s house for the month of June and it was absolutely fantastic! Pat has so thoughtfully included everything that you could need and more-from hiking poles to pre-stamped postcards to wine stoppers and extra toiletries! We both worked from home during our stay. The internet speed was perfect for us to work and never had any interruptions! The yard is perfect for just hanging out and the street is so quiet! We knew that Pat approved Tallulah to stay but one thing that I had not expected was how dog friendly/accommodating her home is! She had covers on the furniture, dog treats, dog bags, bowls and even a leash for Tallulah! I would recommend her house to everyone!! It’s also so convenient to Erica’s and the Dolphin-2 of our fave spots to eat! Just a short distance from the many wonderful hiking trails Harpswell offers, many restaurants and close to Brunswick/Freeport! We were sad to leave!

Additionally - I had to impose on them to handle a few items that needed attention & they were SO AMAZING in taking care of some stuff for me - I couldn't have asked for more gracious guests. PLUS - they left the Cottage in immaculate shape. I would LOVE for them to return & be our Guests again - to our Harpswell Community & The Great State of Maine. Lovely home with lots of thoughtful additions

Checking-in and working with the owner were VERY easy. Pat is super friendly and was very helpful with out trip planning. Check-in was quick the day-of, and the house had everything we needed. The fenced-in yard was a huge plus for us with our dogs. One of the best things about this house are all the thoughtful touches. Extra treats for the dogs, spare dish towels, all the stuff I often find I am missing when I stay at other rentals. 10/10 would stay here again!

It was a great experience having David & Family staying as our Guest at The Cottage @ AshPoint. It was wonderful welcoming their 2 4-footed kids - as they thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in yard where they could watch the world go by -- safely. David & Jessica - along with Max & Grady - were wonderful Guests - who got to enjoy Maine & The Harpswell Community from our central location @ The Cottage - taking full advantage of our fully stocked vacation home. They left everything so neat & tidy which we really appreciated. We hope that they get to return to Maine & give us another opportunity to welcome them to our cottage - they were wonderful Guests & we really enjoyed meeting them. Safe travels home to all of you! Cute little cottage

We all three enjoyed our stay here very much Everything we needed for grilling and cooking was supplied. The backyard was great for Elvis, our little pup. The AC worked great upstairs and lots of fans downstairs. Not much within walking distance but an easy drive to kayaking, hiking and fishing. Would stay here again if we return to Maine. Check-in and check out was super easy and the owner is very helpful and easily accessible.

We were so thrilled to have Cathy & her Family as our Guests for the week & know that Elvis (their 4 footed family) LOVED watching the world go by inside the totally fenced yard! The Family was terrific about communication - check In & Check Out SO EASY & they left everything in perfect shape. Very happy that the Cottage was well stocked & provided everything they needed for their comfort & Vacation In the Harpswell Community in the GREAT STATE OF MAINE - Please come again!

Sweet little cottage

We had a great time at Patricia's cottage this summer. She was a gracious and responsive host. The setting was perfect for a longer stay, with internet, a/c, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and fenced in yard. While not on the beach, the house still had an ocean breeze and the picturesque tidal mill public landing is a quick walk down the street.... Perfect for dipping your feet and enjoying the view.

Lindsay & her 2 sons & Family were delightful Guests at The Cottage @ AshPoint. There were a few glitches along the way & this Family was incredibly understanding & patient while we straightened things out. They thoroughly enjoyed the Cottage & Harpswell Community. They left everything in such great order & were very gracious in leaving the Cottage just as it was given to them. They are the type of Guests that everyone hopes for! Thank you to Lindsay & her Family!!

Lovely stay at the Hobbit house

The cottage is very sweet, extremely clean and in a great location for a relaxing quiet holiday

It was delightful to have Tina & her Family as our guests at The Cottage @ AshPoint along with their fur baby Cooper! They seemed to truly enjoy our Cottage & the Harpswell Community. PLUS - they left everything perfect! They communicated any needs they had & we - hopefully - took care of their concerns promptly. Would LOVE to have you all back!! Pat Beene & Crew
