Crested Butte von der Außenterrasse während Sie in den Whirlpool einweichen. Nur im Winter wird Sie das kostenlose Shuttle am Fuße der Auffahrt zum Skifahren oder einem Ausflug in die Stadt Crested Butte abholen. Great Ski House

Plenty of room for family and so nice to have a garage to park in. Spacious basement with living area and laundry room. Our only complaint was we. Hold never get the TV in the master bedroom to work and it would have been nice to have TVs in the other bedrooms as well. Besides that it was great!

Great location, not so great otherwise

The best part about staying at this location was observing a local fox who visited our back door almost daily. Another nice thing is that we arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage in the foyer while we explored the town. BUT... Think twice before booking this rental, there is a reason it's less expensive than others. First, you are required to purchase trip insurance, beware because after you check out they might tell you you broke something that was already broken and charge you for it "up front" then you can submit for insurance reimbursement. A sauna and wood stove were depicted as amenities when I originally booked. The property description sent the week before states the sauna is broken (has been for years according to management company, who did remove the caption about sauna after letting them know). The wood stove is not up to code with a sign on it telling you not to use it. Additionally, many of the windows do not have blinds or curtains and some have signs saying not to open them. The vent fan in the downstairs shared bathroom does not work. There was plenty of additional bedding but not enough towels. The place was almost clean at a surface level, but I discovered when laying on the floor in the living room inches of dirt and debris hanging out under the couch. The floors in the master bathroom were dirty as well. The "hot" tub held at 99 degrees on a good day, but usually dropped to around 97 degrees after only a few minutes (weather was high 30s to mid 40s). If you like to cook, bring your own pans, knives, and Draino (the kitchen sink backed up). Pros: Excellent location, spacious living room, bathrooms for all, onsite laundry, fox Cons: Dirty and in disrepair, possibly less than trustworthy management company

Miranda, We have it stated in our description that damage protection (not travel insurance) is a requirement. You purchased damage protection through VRBO, so when filing a claim, that is our standard protocol. We have to charge the guest then the guest gets reimbursed through the damage protection company, CSA. Since you were adamant that the damage we found was not from your group, we did not charge you a single penny. If there are any additional cleaning or maintenance issues during your stay, you can always give us a call and we are happy to get those taken care of for you. We did not receive any communication from you during your stay. Thank you for your comments, issues, and concerns. We live in a very small valley and when maintenance issues arise during the middle of Spring Break, we can't always get things repaired in time for the next set of guests as we have a serious worker shortage. Everyone is doing their best. We have passed along complaints to the owners and cleaners and we are working on getting them resolved! Thanks, Peak Property Management

Great location, not ideal for summer rental

Location is nice, across the street from a park and tennis courts. The house is large except for the narrow galley kitchen with dripping faucet. The house heats up during the day, and is not air-conditioned. Screens are not supplied for many of the windows, leaving you the option of letting in the bugs along with the fresh air. Fortunately some fans are provided. The decks have peeling paint and warped boards, and badly need repairs and repainting. No table to eat outdoors, but there are 4 chairs, and a bench. The basement rec room is musty and there is mildew in the upstairs shower. Most of the furniture is comfortable. To summarize, great location amid wildflowers, adequate house, but poorly maintained.

Wonderful place to stay

The home was very nice with tall ceilings and an open feel, nice loft upstairs, and plenty of space to live in for a few days. The hot tub that overlooks Mt. Crested Butte was such a nice touch, and the bus stop directly across the street from the home made our ski day so convenient with a short 10-minute bus ride directly to the skier drop-off area. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Great Location, Views, and Amenities!

Our group loved our stay in this house! It was very spacious and comfortable for our group, with plenty of areas to spread out when needed. We had all adults but if you had children the basement area would be great for playing games and watching movies. The view of Mt. CB was great, and the way the house is positioned, you basically have no neighbors so it was very quiet and peaceful. We cooked many meals and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Very close to the base of the mountain, if you wanted to save money on parking it would be a easy walk to the base, but the condo shuttle also stops right at the driveway every hour. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all!

House was in the perfect location for skiing! The bus stop is right across the street. The futon’s the in basement were just as comfortable as beds! They have extra pillows and blankets, and a beautiful back yard view!

The house was perfect for our visit to photograph the wildflowers of Crested Butte. As we arrived, several handsome deer wandered through the field of wildflowers behind the house. What a sight! Our appreciation for this spot continued as we sat on the patio, cooked meals in the kitchen , and enjoyed the comforts of the house.

Ski Trip 2019

House was nice and clean and close to the ski slopes. However, it was inconvenient that there were no extra paper towels or trash bags. Was only given one trash bag and one roll of paper towel for our whole stay. If you decide to book here be prepared that you might have to be responsible for these supplies. Overall it was a decent stay.

Hi Matthew, Thank you for taking the time to review our property! I do apologize for the missing supplies. Our policy is to leave an extra roll of paper towels and multiple trash bags along with 2 extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also supply dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, sponges, hand soap, small bar soaps and tissues. If ever there is not enough supplies in our property we just ask that you call and we can get more brought up to you. Great views & house

Between the perfect views and the house, there are absolutely no complaints. Our group of 8 had more than enough room to spread out while being able to hang out. The kitchen and dining room were perfect to spend time together over dinner. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day on the trails too. We had more than enough room in the driveway to park our vehicles and the garage space was perfect for our needs. The walking trail and playground was perfect to wind down while watching the sunset and to burn off some energy for our kids. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this home for anyone staying in Mt. Crested Butte.
