Dieses 4-Jahreszeiten-Blockhaus in Thornton Gore in den White Mountains von New Hampshire ist rustikal und komfortabel. Es liegt auf halber Höhe eines grasbewachsenen Hügels, umgeben von Ackerland und dem White Mountain National Forest. Johnson Brook läuft neben der unbefestigten Straße. Es verfügt über eine offene Küche mit Essbereich, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Domdecke und einen Feldsteinkamin.

In der Umgebung: Badelöcher im Fluss, Spiegelsee, Bergwanderwege. Kanu und Fischen den Pemigewasset River; radfahren sie das tal Große Langlauf- und Abfahrtski-Zentren in Loon Mountain, Cannon und Waterville Valley. Im Sommer bietet Loon Mountain Bogenschießen, Reiten, Fahrradverleih, Schießstand und mehr. Great quiet getaway

Perfect spacious cabin to get away for the weekend and explore the southern Whites. The fireplace was the highlight of trip for the chilly nights in.

Perfect Winter Getaway!!

My husband and I loved the location and charm of this cabin. I spent many an hour sitting in the glider rocker in front of the window reading my book, while glancing up every now and then at the incredible view of the mountains! My husband, a keyboard player, enjoyed playing the piano. We also loved sitting by the fire while playing cards or just relaxing. Carol, the owner, checked in with us upon arriving to make sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated her communication. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If you are looking for a remote, peaceful and beautiful winter escape…this is the perfect place for you!

Cabin in the mountains

Great location, convenient to I93 and to Kancamagus. Very serene, private location. Good sized house with yard, mountain view, brook nearby. A very nice place from which to visit the White Mountains.

Great Cabin and Host

Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin. This is our 3rd visit and we absolutely love it here! Carol and Ken are excellent hosts and the cabin is beautiful. Relaxing Spring Getaway

A really lovely spring getaway with some girlfriends and our dogs. The log cabin was very spacious and perfect to cook, hang out and just enjoy the surroundings and listen to the stream across the road. Location is great with nearby attractions and just serenity all around the cabin. We would love to come back!

Amazing Family Trip

We had such a relaxing time at the cabin. Our kids enjoyed sledding and playing in the snow - the cozy little cabin in the mountains was just what we needed to reconnect and relax. None of us wanted to leave. Carol could not have been more wonderful.

Real log cabin experience

In todays standards is roughing it dont get me wrong awesome place if your lucky might see some wild life plenty or room good place to get familys together no wifi no telivsion or cable has dvd player so bring some movies also no dishwasher nice fireplace just beautiful scenery

Adorable and comfortable

I was so pleased with the view, the comfortable beds and the location relative to our festival. Everything was pretty clean (there were some unwashed dishes in the cabinet). The bathrooms were spotless. Very easy to find but spotty WiFi if you need it. I hear fiber optic is coming soon though so maybe next year will be better in that regard. We are hoping to come again next year and look forward to another great stay. Thanks Ken and Carol!

Perfect for our summer mountain adventure

Our family of 5 had a great time at the cabin. It was fully stocked with all we could need for cooking, cleaning up after ourselves, etc. Carol & Ken are kind, attentive home owners. We loved all the property had to offer- especially the babbling brook which our children spent hours and hours exploring. There was so much to do in all neighboring towns. We loved it!
