Overall very nice place. It was clean, spacious and stocked with all the cooking stuff u need. The only thing I would recommend u bring is a buggy to haul ur stuff to the beach. Its a decent walk to get there. Had a blast and would highly recommend this place

House was very clean. House manager checked in a few times to see if we needed anything. It was very peaceful and relaxing!

Great beach access

Spent a week here with a group of friends. Loved the access to the beach and loved that we could enjoy the beach sunrise without leaving the back porch. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool.

Great place overall, lots of decks. Lots of seating for big families.

Only negative was not enough selection of pots and pans for a bigger house for big families. Overall great place with lots of decks on both sides of house with plenty of seating inside and out.

Great House !

First time staying at this end of the Outer Banks and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The home had everything we needed. The pool, hot tube were great extras ! The only issue was the walk over the double dunes, a little hard on my older in-laws. Other than that a nice place to stay ! I would book again !

Everything was kept very clean, they had everything you needed except make sure you bring paper towels and toilet paper! The management company was also great. Plenty of space for everyone and the kids were happy. Barely anyone on the beach made it seem basically private. Decking needs to be redone, grill maintained, but otherwise can’t complain.

Great family vacation!

The house was just right for our large group of ten people. The kitchen and living area were spacious and open and we took full advantage of all the decks. We could see and hear the ocean from the top deck and watched the sun rise every morning. The path to the beach was right outside our door and we put it to good use, visiting the beach every day we were there. The beaches were sandy and beautiful. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool and hot tub got plenty of use as well!

Amazing vacation

I went with my family. There were 8 of us all together. We did opt for early check in because we were coming from so far away..half way/half way. The home was so beautiful! The views... beautiful! A bit of a walk to the beach but nothing we couldn't handle. We had a fire on the beach..bucket list Pool and hot tub huge plus! I don't think there is anything I could complain about with this vacation! Loved everything about it! We will be back

Great vacation, but not great views.

Overall the house was fine but there isn’t a beach view. The sand dunes block the view and the decks need replacing. Had i known you couldn’t see the beach I would’ve picked a place further back and saved the money.

Family Time

First time for all at a beach vacation! Booking and all communication was great. Emails regarding the area, the home, the rules etc were received timely and appreciated! The house was wonderful for this family of 10! The only downside was the path to beach over the dunes was a little difficult. We all made the trek daily but if one had any walking issues I can see a problem. Pool was great!

Great week for a family of 9

Great beach front location with decks and ample seating to enjoy the view! House was comfortable and easy. Pool area was refreshing and basic. Dune access is right in front If the house. A little steep crossing but to be expected. Close to the blue whale and waves for groceries 4 bedrooms on the lower level with 2 bathrooms. Main level where kitchen is has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Lots of puzzles. Management company provides minimum supplies to start: 1 roll of paper towel, 3 rolls of tp. You will need paper coffee filters for the Mr coffee pot and your own kitchen towels and cleaning supplies. Would rent this house again

We had such a great time at the Bryson-Herrick! Although there was a hiccup with the dishwasher, the host was very communicative and apologetic. Comfortable house, beautiful views, and close to the beach.

Excellent Property/Good Stay

This was our first time staying in this area (we are mainland OBX vacationers) and first time outside of summer. The house was excellent. Very roomy and good location. Couple of suggestions: need a new toaster, putting labels on light/fan switches to say what they go to (many, many switches in the house), maybe have housekeeping or maintenance check to see if Direct TV works during changeover. It was not working when we arrived. Maintenance arrived on Monday and couldn't fit it so DirecTV came a couple of days later to fix it (dish was not aligned properly). Love being able to text in issues to realty company/maintenance. Folks were friendly and timely.

Late Season Fun

Our group of 9 went down last week of October of 2021 and it was great! House was the perfect size for 4 couples and my youngest daughter and 2 dogs. Weather was warm for this time of year and we spent most evenings on the upper decks watching the sunset over the sound and the moon rise over the ocean. Plenty of room to gather together in the great room and decks or to find a quiet spot when you get peopled out. Easy, short, private walk to the beach. If you get a beach driving access pass it's a quick 5 minute drive up from the ramp across from Salvo day use area. Quite handy for those days when you bring a ton of chairs and beach toys and fishing equipment. All in all a great vacation with some wonderful people and the house is well laid out and quite comfortable.
