Castaways 9C ~ Direkt am Golf, direkt am Strand, zu Fuß zum Hangout, kostenloses WLAN, erstklassige Lage

Thanks, Anna! We are happy to hear and hope to see you back again soon.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beachfront location on East Beach - it’s one of the reasons so many guests love this area. Regarding the sliding glass door handle, you did bring that to our attention during your stay. As explained at the time, that particular component is maintained by the building’s association rather than the individual unit owner. We have continued to follow up with the association on this item and appreciate your understanding, as it is unfortunately outside of our direct control. The elevator is likewise maintained and serviced by the building’s association, but we will certainly pass along your comments again. As for the interior, the condo is represented accurately in the listing photos so guests can determine in advance if the style and finishes align with their personal preferences. We value constructive input which will be passed on to the owner. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and wish you all the best in your future travels.

Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed every minute of your stay. We agree—the view from the balcony is pretty spectacular! We can’t wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable stay.

Thank you for your great review. We appreciate the compliments and are delighted you enjoyed Castaways 9C. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your first stay at Gulf Shores! 🌊 It sounds like you made the most of the property being right on the beach—there’s nothing like waking up to a great view of the gulf! We’re glad you enjoyed the pool and were able to whip up some delicious breakfasts. Sorry to hear the weather was a bit iffy, but it sounds like you still had a great time! We can’t wait to welcome you back for more sunny adventures!

Thank you for your review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the room and the amazing view. We're sorry about the elevator issues during your stay—we know that's a real bummer, especially on the 9th floor. As you know, we reported it promptly both times you reached out, and the elevator company had it back up and running as quickly as possible. We really appreciate your patience and hope to welcome you back for a smoother stay next time!

Thank you for your review. We are glad to know how clean it was upon your arrival and also the amazing view. We look forward to host and provide accommodations for your next visit to our area!

Thanks so much for the kind review! We’re glad you enjoyed the beach access and the walkability — it’s hard to beat being close to great food, shops, and the sand! We appreciate your patience with the pool access during your stay — the good news is, the building has just been freshly painted and all updates are complete, so it’s looking better than ever. We’d love to have you back anytime, Ohio Native! 🌞

Hi Kevin, thanks for your review and comments. The water pressure issue happens when many units are using any water source at the same time. This is a building item that we cannot address. The peak times this may happen is during the summer around 5-6pm when folks head in for the day.

Thanks for your review and we are happy to know you felt taken care of and we agree - it does have a beautiful view! We hope to see you back again soon!

Thanks for your review. We are happy to know you found it to be in a great location! We have passed along your feedback regarding the furniture to the homeowner. We hope to see you back again soon!

Hi Cathy, thanks for letting us know! You were the perfect guests and we look forward to hosting a future stay for you and your family.

Hi Kristy, thanks for your review! We'll pass along the feedback about the pots & pans to the owner. Please know we did address the washer issue, our appliance tech diagnosed it (the same day you called it in), and we had a replacement ordered the same day. Regrettably the delivery date was the date you checked out. We are happy to know the you enjoyed the location & property and hope to see you back again soon!

Hi David, we are unsure who you contacted as you called us several times before your arrival and we did not hear from you during your trip. We only provide our contact details. Thanks for letting us know about the lights, we'll get those checked out. We are happy to know that you had a great experience and hopefully can turn your 3-star into a 5-star experience, next time!

Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry to hear about the hiccups during your stay. While we can’t fix building issues like the elevator directly, we’ll always pass on concerns to the right folks. Mattress comfort can be a bit of a mixed bag, as you might see from varied reviews—some find it perfect, while others might disagree. Water pressure can dip during peak times, especially after a beach day. We appreciate your comments and hope your next stay is smoother and more enjoyable!

We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the condo. We understand your frustration, but unfortunately it's difficult to address the issue after the fact, especially without having the opportunity to correct it. We take all feedback seriously and will take steps to improve the cleanliness going forward. The light above the dining table is operated by the switch at the end of the bar.
