Willkommen in der Appalachian Mountain Lodge

Die Appalachian Mountain Lodge ist eine einzigartige Lodge im Adirondack-Stil mit über 800 m² Wohn- und Unterhaltungsfläche. Die Appalachian Mountain Lodge ist mit Hartholzböden, Nut-Feder-Decken, neuen Möbeln, neuen Küchen und Bädern, neuen Geräten, neuen Annehmlichkeiten und vielem mehr ausgestattet. Sie ist eine fantastische Option für Ihre nächste Familientreffen, Firmenfeiertage, Hochzeit oder andere Zusammenkünfte. Angrenzende Cottages bieten zusätzliche Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und können Ihrer Reservierung à la carte hinzugefügt werden.

Die riesige Küche des Chefs wurde komplett renoviert und mit allen neuen Böden, Schränken, Theken, Geräten und mehr ausgestattet. Das Wohnzimmer, die Bibliothek, die Höhle, das Spielzimmer, das Theaterzimmer und alle Schlafzimmer wurden komplett renoviert und mit neuen Möbeln und Elektronik ausgestattet. Es gibt Spieltische in der Höhle unten und im Spielzimmer. Der Tennisplatz ist jetzt voll bespielbar und wird voraussichtlich Ende 2018 erneuert.

Auf dem Gelände befindet sich ein hügeliger Landschaftsgarten, der ideal für Kinder und Erwachsene zum Spielen ist. Die nahe gelegenen Waldwege laden zum Spazieren und Erkunden ein. Die Feuerstelle im Freien befindet sich zwischen dem Hinterhof und dem Tennisplatz. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze entlang der langen, ebenen Einfahrt und im vorderen Parkbereich.

Diese Lodge ist behindertengerecht, verfügt über einen behindertengerechten Eingang und bietet breite Schwellen im Haus sowie in das behindertengerechte Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer.

Neben dem Haupthaus gibt es 5 Ein-Zimmer-Cottages, die je nach Bedarf als Zusatzpaket gemietet werden können.

Dieses Haus befindet sich neben der Mountain Family Lodge, einer Lodge mit 12 Bdr und 9 Suiten, die Platz für bis zu 30 Gäste bietet. Diese können für größere Versammlungen und geplante Veranstaltungen gemeinsam gemietet werden. Für geplante Veranstaltungen wie Hochzeiten und Veranstaltungen, die großen Besuchergruppen und Parkplätzen Platz bieten, wird eine zusätzliche Veranstaltungsgebühr erhoben.

Great Family Reunion House

23 of us had a wonderful time - we cooked big meals, played tennis and pool, loved the hottub, and enjoyed every room in the house. Petfect for large groups with lots of different interests. Yoga up.the road a bonus. Hosts were responsive to our questions. Great stay!

Excellent Property

It's not easy to find lodging for our large family all under one roof. This house is perfectly suited for all of us. The kitchen is well-stocked, the view is phenomenal (especially the sunrise), with plenty of amenities for everyone: tennis, pickle ball, fire pit, hot tub, theater, horses and woods nearby, and a piano. Plenty of sleeping berths, too! Management is very responsive. Great experience!

Family Trip

The Appalachian mountain lodge was the perfect place to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We had family ranging in age from 2 to 77 and the lodge offered comfortable accommodations and enjoyable activities for all! The property manager was responsive and helpful when we had questions or requests. We will be looking for an excuse to return!

Family Reunion 2024

23 of us came from NY, TX, CO, IL and PA and met at the house for our family reunion. The house was absolutely perfect and so well stocked with amenities. The pickleball court was a huge hit. The location was perfect for hikes and day trips to Blowing Rock. The agency was extremely communicative and helpful with all our questions and needs. It was a perfect weekend for our crazy crew!

Fist of all the website description is wrong. It claimed 9 rooms and 8 bath rooms, whereas it had just 7 rooms and 6 bathrooms and not all rooms were ideal. We had to struggle to accomodate all the guests.The amenities were not in condition like no pressure in the bathroom faucets and not good hot water. Dusty carpets and the furniture were dated.But the location and the look of the property from the exterior were good.

Our weekend stay was absolutely wonderful and we had a great time. However, the cleaning of the lodge was not the best. Upon arrival, there was a bag of food left with maggots inside the bag. There was also trash in some restrooms that wasn't taken out, and the oven was grimy. Other than the cleaning issues, the lodge was beautiful and we enjoyed our weekend.

Best spot in Boone for a big group!

We stayed at this property with our son (8) and his friends and their families. The house was great for young kids, lots of room for them to run around and play. But cozy where could all spend time together. The kids loved the tennis court, basement and running around in the back yard. The property is approx 35 mins from Hawks Ridge tubing where we went Saturday and the kids had a blast. We were thrilled to know that Doordash delivers to the property to feed an army of hungry young kids. Everything was clean and well kept, no complaints. We can’t wait to go back!

Good space

We stayed at this property the week before July 4th, the house had enough space for our group of 18 people, the views of the property and the neighbor's horses were amazing. We especially enjoyed the open back yard area where we played many rounds of corn hole and the tennis courts. The temperature was wonderful for the middle of summer so we all enjoyed being outside. We even ate two of our dinners on the back porch as there were 3 tables and plenty of room for us. The kitchen was great for cooking and the bottom level kitchen was helpful for our families sharing this house. We enjoyed our stay, however, this house does need some upgrades. The beds, mattresses, bedding, pillows all need to be upgraded, refreshed and new bedding and linens available. The house was clean, but there were spider webs and could have used a refresh before we got there, looked like it had been cleaned a month or two ago, but not before our stay. We loved the movie room, but there was a really loud noise coming from the HVAC (we think) during the movies, so the back row had a very hard time hearing the movies when this was running.

The property is as listed and as mentioned they don’t provide extra things.

We had some issues with linens not provided, flat air mattresses and poor mattress conditions for the pullout sofas and trundle bed. They don’t provide extra towels, linens, soap or trash bags if you need those things you have to bring with you. The freezer was also a little dirty. The grass also wasn’t mowed and they showed up to mow during our stay which was odd as we are trying to enjoy sitting on the back porch but someone is mowing the backyard. It can also be a little warm in the house since it is 3 stories and many bodies in the home. It is away from the city so that is nice but the house is next to another house on property and there was a different group renting the house having a birthday party so it was a little loud at times with the neighbors music playing loud.

Hi Ariel, thanks for sharing your thoughts. We try and be as specific as we can in our correspondence with our arrivals in what each home provides. This is done both with e-mails to each reservation as well as listed on our site. Linens are replaced with freshly laundered replacements after each departure as part of our cleaning procedures. Again this information is provided to our guest on multiple platforms. We do regret that you failed to see that in your communications. The air conditioning was inspected post your departure and found to be in good working order, we hope that you were not to uncomfortable during the higher than normal temperatures we experienced during your stay. We have found our selves in typical summer weather patterns of high humidity resulting in daily thunderstorms and significant rain fall, thus the lawn being in need of cutting. We do apologize for that but lawn care has come to a grinding halt as a result of the excessive rain. Again thank you for staying at Appalachian Mountain Lodge and sharing your thoughts and concerns. Its our fondest hope that you will stay again with us on your next visit to the high country.

The house we stayed in Appalachian mountain lodge was a beautiful home with potential, unfortunately it lacked a lot of cleaning it had a lot of broken items and the top 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor leaked water into the 2nd level so we were unable to use them. The hot tub was not clean at all. There was chips and sand left in the children's room on level one the trundle bed. I feel like even though it is the kids room they deserve clean bedding as well. The TV in the lockout suite did not work there was not enough bandwidth for them to be able to use it for anything which is a disappointment when you don't have inside access to a house. Also there were no knobs on their closet doors the bifold doors in the rack they were equipped with to hang their clothes on fell as soon as they put items on it. The railing from the 3rd level floor was broken leading to the main floor. There were cobwebs in the kitchen ceiling as well as the hood over the cooktop was covered in dust probably a quarter inch thick which I cleaned myself so that I was able to cook without being grossed out. The property is beautiful like I said it has a lot of potential overall I was disappointed in some of the details as we paid quite a bit for this beautiful home. I would maybe use Carolina cabin rentals again if they would compensate me on some of these items as I was not able to use all of the amenities in the house.

We had a very small wedding reception at the property over the weekend. There were plenty of rooms and plenty of rooms space. I highly recommend this property. The host is very attentive with messages/emails. We will be back!

Mountain Paradise

The house and property had everything we needed! Close to Boone and other towns though far enough away to not feel too crowded with people. Great place for a Family Reunion!!

Great house for my large family. The house’s 3 common areas were especially suitable.

The experience at this house was enjoyed by everyone in my family, ages 7-75. I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful property perfect for a large group

The house was perfect for our large group ranging in ages from infant to 60s, with nearly every age in between. Between the tennis courts, game rooms, theater room, and beautiful porch and view, there was plenty to do. The layout of the house is wonderful and every single room is spacious and comfortable. The property owners and management company were very helpful and made check-in and check-out easy and efficient. There was a small unavoidable issue with the home during our stay, and both owner and manager went out of their way to work everything out for us. I would recommend this home to anyone!

3 Generations had a great time!

The back porch has an amazing view of the blue ridge mountains. Our family enjoyed pickle ball and the fire pit. The kitchen has most everything you need for cooking for a large family (basement oven does not work if you are needing extra oven space - there is a double oven in the main kitchen).

Wedding Celebration in Boone

This house was just perfect for our family and friends that came to celebrate my daughter’s marriage. There was ample space for everyone and the game room downstairs was rated top notch everyone. The view is spectacular and is close to Boone and Blowing Rock. I would highly recommend this house for large gatherings!
