Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie den geschichteten Bergblick von den Decks dieser einzigartigen Blowing Rock-Anlage! Ein klassisches Berghundhaus wurde aktualisiert und zu einem wahrhaft charmanten Nest mit vielen heimatlichen Elementen ausgebaut.

Sobald Sie die Hauptebene betreten, werden Sie sofort die schöne Aussicht auf die Berge bemerken. Die Fenster am Esstisch bieten einen hervorragenden Ausblick, während Sie Ihre Mahlzeit genießen. In der gut ausgestatteten großen Küche mit Weinregal, Edelstahlgeräten und Granit-Theken bereiten Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten zu.

Durch die Küche befindet sich das ursprüngliche runde Haus mit den komplizierten Deckenbalken. Heute ist das runde Haus der Treffpunkt der Kabine und verfügt über ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Ledermöbeln, einem Gas-Kamin aus Stein, Schiebetüren zum Deck und einem großen HD-TV. Aus dem Wohnzimmer ist ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne und separater gefliester Dusche. Neben dem Wohnzimmer gibt es auch ein Bonus-Zimmer mit einem großen Murphy-Bett und einem HD-TV.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich die geräumige Master Suite. Dieses Zimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, zwei große Kleiderschränke, raumhohe Spiegel und einen HD-Fernseher. Das eigene Bad verfügt über eine Whirlpool-Badewanne, eine separate geflieste Dusche und einen Doppelwaschtisch. Es gibt auch einen verglasten Wintergarten vor diesem Schlafzimmer.

Genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf die Johns River Gorge vom Hauptdeck aus. Beobachten Sie Raubvögel beim Auftauchen und Tauchen in den frischen Luftströmungen. In der Nacht können Sie leicht die funkelnden Lichter der Town of Blowing Rock erkennen. Für die vierbeinigen Familienmitglieder gibt es sogar ein kleines Stück ebener Grasfläche.

Wonderful place!

We’ve stayed a number of places around Blowing Rock and this was one of our absolute favorites. The house is close to town, comfy and well stocked and the views from the back deck our gorgeous. Definitely hope to return!

Beautiful view and spacious accompanying

This was in a wonderful location. Only 3 miles from downtown Blowing Rock in an uncrowded rural area. Super easy to drive to and park. The view was spectacular and the cabin spacious and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again. It had a one touch fireplace which really set the mood.

Sunrise from expansive deck... spectacular view from kitchen. It was a Nest with a View! Close to Blowing Rock and Parkway. Loved it and look forward to returning!

Nice and relaxing location

In a quiet area just outside of Blowing Rock, but not to far from town. It's also close to many hiking trails. The view is incredible assuming you don't get too much fog. The house was very clean and well stocked with basic items (e.g. toiler paper, towels, etc). The fireplace is also a nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and views - loved it

Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with our family. We go to the Woolly Worm every year and our home on Lake Watauga was rented. This was a fantastic alternative. Loved the fireplace and the large porch. Perfect.

Great weekend

Clean home with great views. Got to see the sunrise every morning. A little trouble figuring out the living room TV remotes and channels, but wasn’t there to watch TV anyway.. Could have had more trash bags, but fantastic overall. Would definitely go back again.

Outstanding house!

We had a great time. The view is astounding...even better than you imagine from the pictures. The house's additions and modern upgrades are really well done. The path from the driveway to the door is basically flat with only one step if stairs are a concern. Also, the location is perfect...away from traffic but close to the parkway and was pretty centrally located in relation to all the things we wanted to do, so we were able spend more time doing things instead of driving back and forth. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Great family-friendly mountain getaway!

If you're looking for a whimsical family friendly getaway, this updated round house is the perfect answer. The round house design allowed for optimal mountain views and with only 2 levels, it was ideal for our 2 little ones to run around without fear of them falling down a flight of stairs. The accommodations were more than comfortable and the house had all the amenities to ensure we didn't need to leave the house. If you're lucky enough to be graced with fresh snow as we were, there is a perfect sledding hill just across the street from the house so we didn't have to travel far for some winter fun. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was a great company to work with and we look forward to returning to the nest with a view for future family trips.

Better than the pictures!

This house was simply wonderful! The inside of the house far exceeded the images. I just loved the rustic, yet modern feel. The beams and wood ceiling are special. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and well equipped. Beds comfy. OK, now I have to mention the views. Yes that is plural. There are amazing views of the mountains from so many places in the house. You just drink it in from the dining room, kitchen, living room, upper level deck, lower level deck.... I highly recommend this property.

A beautiful home with an amazing view

This is truly the best home we have ever stayed in. The view from the back porch is stunning. I'm a photographer and was able to take beautiful sunrise photographs. We love the rustic feel of the home. The bed was extremely comfortable. The home is only 5-10 minutes away from Blowing Rock and about the same distance to Cone Manor. This was perfect for our family. We loved taking the dogs with us to walk around Bass Lake. The only complaint....if you could call it that....is that the kitchen needs to be restocked with pots and pans. The pans are not nonstick and all of them had burnt on residue, making it difficult to cook anything without burning. There were plenty of dishes and silver ware and glasses. We will certainly come back!

Great view

The house and location were great but the follow through of the managing company is poor. We had to go to the store and get laundry detergent to wash the sheets on the down stairs bed as they were covered in hair, there was a huge clump of hair stuck in the shower drain also. Under the dining room table there were apparent stains of what appeared to be pet pee that had dried up, we cleaned up with wipes and the baking pans were filled with left overs stuck to them and there wasn’t any sponges to clean them with.The lighting in the kitchen and dining room is equivalent to night lights and impossible to see when the sun goes down. I put this all on the company managing the property as it is a beautiful home with fantastic views.

Spring 23

The location was perfect. The house was only a few miles from Blowing rock and the road went directly into blowing rock. Moses Cone and Julian Price parks were just a short ride away. Boone fork trail was beautiful. Grandfather mountain was about 15 minutes away. The view from the deck was spectacular. The mist rising from the mountains was worth getting up early to see. Other than there was no hangers to hang up your clothes , the house was well stocked. The bed were super comfortable. I sleep though the night for the first time in a long time. For the price we paid the house needed some repairs and could have been cleaner in one area. The closet door fell off and scared my wife. One of the outlets wasn't functioning . The downstairs indoor deck area needed cleaning. The glass insert in one of the cabinet doors was missing. And the house wasn't well lighted and dark in some areas. Overall we a great time visiting Blowing Rock.

Great location, amazing views, just a few issues

The bottom line is that this is a lovely cabin in a great location, and I'd happily stay here again. The view out the back is spectacular. The kitchen is nicely stocked, though if there's anything specific you need for a cooking project bring it with you. The couches upstairs are really nice. Getting in and out is kind of odd, as the front door leads to an incredibly long raised wooden walkway and the easiest way to get to your car is a sliding glass door in the second upstairs bedroom. We had a really nice time here. There are a few issues that need addressing. There are no curtains in the main room, and the sun tends to create a powerful glare if you're sitting on the bigger couch or trying to watch TV. The front door has a gap that lets a lot of cold air in during the winter months. The main bedroom upstairs is not really insulated, and it gets quite cold. There seems to be some sort of secondary heater in that room, but there are no directions for it and it's hard to figure out. The TV in the main room needs to be updated to something that has more HTML ports, and it would be good to have some basic instructions for it. Contacting the hosts was hard. I couldn't tell whether we were supposed to use VRBO or some other method, and we got some messages that indicated a lack of communication between the various entities involved in the place. Everyone was nice, but two times I asked simple questions that never got answered at all. All of this would be fairly easy to fix.
