First Back Since COVID

This place is gorgeous! The views are worth spending your whole day lounging around there. We were the first ones to stay at Cosmos since they reopened from COVID. It was pretty stressful beforehand lining everything up since tourist can’t leave to do much or get food but Cosmos helped accommodate in every way possible with Shermika and Craig being so helpful.

All Around Wonderful

From the moment we walked through the door and saw the most amazing view we’ve ever seen until we checked out was an absolutely wonderful experience. The view was from something out of a magazine. It was the perfect place for a coupon to stay. Shermika was very attentive and great for Everything we needed. We could barely bring ourselves to leave. We highly recommend the Cosmos Lodge and we will be back! Thank you so much for the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Saint Lucia!

Stunning minimal open concept studio

My partner and I loved everything about our stay here. The architecture and design of the building and how it's nestled into the hillside with beautiful views is very unique. Make sure to bring earplugs for sleeping at night. The frogs and crickets can be loud. You'll also have to be vigilant about birds coming for your food and drink. Speaking of food, the chef created some wonderful meals for us to eat while we were there. It was better food than many of the restaurants in town.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!

My wife and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here and it is EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED on VRBO. Shermika and the rest of the staff were amazing and very helpful. Craig was always available to drive us where we needed to go. Easy access to Anse Chastenet beach and amenities. It was a magical experience, we sat there and stared at the Pitons and Soufreiere harbor and could not believe where we were. Truly looks fake it is so beautiful. We will be back for sure, highly recommend the place. We even thought about not reviewing because we don't want the secret to get out:)

Magical Christmas in cosmos

This was absolutely gorgeous view. The staff was amazing from start to finish. This place is beyond gorgeous with the villa that sleeps 12 14 perfect for a small intimate wedding or having a group to rent it. We had the lodge a very private super cozy facing the pitons. Amazing Highly recommend Food was outstanding. We had breakfast and dinners with Shermika who is a fantastic chef she also is house manager. Craig was our transportation source. Gave us superior tour Thank you for sharing this with us. Hummingbird came every morning to feed love happiness

Wow

Wow wow wow! We stayed here for 5 nights! It's like a mini Jade Mountain! Can't be beat!! So amazing! Shermika the manager was so amazing and accommodating! Kitchenette had everything we needed, it's located in Soufriere which is the oldest town in St.Lucia, it's very close to all the attractions! Its a bumpy ride coming up, but we made it part of the adventure!So beautiful, I will definitely recommend everyone to come here at least once in their lives! Thank you Anastasia and Shermika!

Unique, beautify property for the adventurous

My husband and I just returned from our 7 night stay at the Cosmos Lodge celebrating our 20th anniversary. It was absolutely amazing! The property is exactly as described - clean, phenomenal views, and excellent service by Anastasia prior to our trip - and Shermika, Priscilla and the rest of the staff we encountered. This type of property is quite outside our usual all inclusive resort type vacations - I’m so glad we did it. The lodge literally has 2 back walls - the rest is open to the side of the piton. The views are unbelievable. Shower, sleep, eat, & relax under the watchful eyes of small lizards, tiny frogs, & lots of curious birds. It is very private in the lodge. The morning continental breakfasts delivered to us were excellent and quite filling (we always held on to some of the options for snacking later in the day). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking - and we had a prepared meal one night that was wonderful. The road to get to cosmos was tricky to say the least. You definitely need a vehicle with higher ground clearance like a SUV and drive very, very slow. Honking is a courtesy and you must honk often to let people you are coming up/down the hill, or to say hi (this was weird to us as honking is considered rude where we’re from). We drove ourselves from the airport but it was dark by the time we got out of Vieux-Fort and I don’t recommend that - hire a driver if you’re going to be arriving late - at least for your first time arriving to the property.

Es ist kaum in Worte zu fassen, wie rundum wohl wir uns hier gefühlt haben und wie ausgesprochen gut man sich um uns gekümmert hat. Wir haben Shermika mit Ihrer liebevollen Art sehr ins Herz geschlossen und kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt. Der Ausblick ist schlichtweg unbezahlbar, die Lodge in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Küche ausreichend ausgestattet und das Bad unter freiem Himmel ein kleines Highlight. Just book it!

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and had an amazing time! We got in late due to our flight and the customs process with covid. Dinner was served right away and the sunset was spectacular. Still can't get over the views! There was another group who rented the main house, but it was nice hearing the chatter at night especially since it's a little remote. The lodge is within walking distance to other resorts/rentals, Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin but is steep! After staying at another resort on the south side of Soufriere we decided that this place and Anse Chastanet/Mamin was our favorite part! You're very much on your own here w/o the resort vibe, but we felt safe. Shermaka was very helpful and there when we needed her. The food was great! And their driver Alex was very knowledgeable and on time. We wish we had stayed for more than 2 nights! Book this lodge!

Amazing property and visit.

The view is amazing, but just the start of the experience at Cosmos. Shermika and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We had dinner and breakfast in the room overlooking the blue water and the Pitons. The location is very close to the sights on the southern side of the island. Highly recommended.

Simply Amazing!

This is the nicest property we’ve ever stayed at! Exactly as pictured but better in real life. Communication with Anastasia and Shermika was always prompt and helpful- Shermika even picked us up at the Jetty when our driver was running behind. Beautiful beaches within walking distance- might want to have a taxi bring you back up the hill but we made it! Def consider hiring a driver if you don’t rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle- the road up the hill def requires it!

Incroyable !

Incroyable ! C’est ce que j’ai entendu environ 30 fois le jour de mon arrivée lorsque mon amie, à qui j’ai fait la surprise, a découvert le lodge. L’ouverture complète du lodge avec la vue à couper le souffle sur les pitons restera une expérience inoubliable Shermika est très sympathique, disponible et attentionnée. Attention ! Au minimum la location d’un petit 4x4 s’impose.

Beautiful retreat

We didn’t actually stay because we met some friends who also flew in town for dinner the night we arrived and we didn’t want to drive back up in the dark. The next day we unexpectedly ended up going to the north part of the island near Rodney Bay. I still wanted to do the review for others because I rely on reviews in helping me make my decisions on where to stay. It’s a nice home. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures. The view is absolutely gorgeous. It’s very dark at night. The road going up is a little windy and bumpy but nothing one can’t handle. The GPS took us right there. I would stay here if I’m in the area and would recommend to others visiting the island.

A piece of paradise!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in August and it was the most beautiful room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the jaw dropping views of the Piton mountains to the private plunge pool the suite was a dream! It was so nice we only left twice during our two day stay. Romantic is an understatement. It is very private and the manger made it very easy for us to get a cab down to the Anse Chastanet resort for dinner and even scheduled a taxi to the airport when we checked out. We didn’t rent a car but if you would like to explore Soufriere more I suggest getting one as the suite is on a steep hill although the taxi was very affordable. We brought groceries and wine from our previous apartment in the Castries so we didn’t need to do any food shopping in town. Coffee and a French press was provided for us which was great. The owner Anastasia was so nice and happened to be there during our stay. She gave us a full tour of the villa next door which sleeps 14 I believe. It was insanely gorgeous. Great for family getaways or even destination weddings! She even gave us a ride down to the beach for a quick sunset dip! The bed has a canopy style mosquito net which was very effective but bring bug spray as you are in the jungle. Bring ear plugs since the jungle comes alive at night. It rained while we stayed so put your towels more inside so they don’t blow away. We had the option of closing the openings but don’t do it. You do not wanna miss waking up to the sunrise over the mountains. It was the most magical way to wake up. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!

Your going to love it!

The location is tucked away in the mountain on a long, narrow, steep road. Our driver made a u-turn at least twice in order to find the place. There are not many signs or cues; eventually we found it on the right at the very end of the road. We were greeted by Sharmika who is the manager of the property. Sharmika gave us the information about the the villa , directions around the area, contact information, etc. (I contacted Sharmika at around 7pm about some citronella candles and she brought them over within 10 mins). I must say that the bugs get loud at night and I walked away with a few bites. There is no air conditioner. There is no room service. You are in the rainforest. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. Salt and pepper, basics provided. Everything was clean and ready to use.The private pool is amazing, it was perfect for us. The outside bathroom had a curtain for privacy if needed. They had a safe and good closet space for your luggage. They provided towels for pool and shower. We walked to town, it was a fun adventure but we took a taxi back up to the villa for about $20 (US). There is a grocery store in town, people selling fruits, veggies, fish on the streets, its easy to get items to cook with. There was nothing like waking up to the Pitons... if we ever make it back to St Lucia, we will be coming back. Thank you guys for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely amazing with stunning views!!!

We stayed just a couple nights and this is literally one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you're considering this place, go for it! Accommodations were clean, lovely and top notch and staff were great to work with. AND...the VIEWS!!! Wow! Hope we can return here again some day.

Best View in St. Lucia

Anastasia's place is absolutely amazing. We loved our time there, her attention to detail and wonderful staff make the experience a perfect way to enjoy your time in Soufriere. I highly recommend this property, you are foolish if you miss out on this gem!!!

This vacation rental was over the top.

This vacation rental was more than we were expecting. The view from the room was breath taking of the ocean and piton mountains. The room had a nice queen size bed, kitchenette and small private infinity pool and a private entrance. The pictures are exactly what its like. It's a very quiet, peaceful location. Anastasia the owner was very welcoming. Minutes from the town of Soufriere and a 10 minute drive to Anse Chastanet restaurant and beach. We can't wait to go back!

Anastasia first visited St Lucia in 1994. She returned many times - enchanted by the island - and purchased the land at Cosmos in 1996. She nurtured her dream to develop the property over the next 15 years, finally breaking ground in 2012. The Villa welcomed its first guests in 2016.

With a career in natural botanical products, Anastasia now focuses on running Cosmos, teaching yoga and designing gardens. She lives most of the year in the English countryside, growing vegetables and cooking like a fiend - escaping to sunny St Lucia when the days get short in England.

Amazing location that I fell for when I first visited the island in 1994. The villa was designed by a modernist architect and is energy neutral with a solar system supplying as much electricity and hot water as we are using and collecting annual rainfall in a vast cistern.

This is the most prominent Piton view in the area., close enough to the water edge without the noise, high enough to catch cooling breeze, convenient enough to walk to the beach and close enough to neighbours for security whilst far enough for privacy.
