Das ist eine super Ort! Ihre gemütliche Kabine befindet sich neben einem mäandernden Bach in den Smokey Mountains in der Nähe von Murphy, North Carolina. Unsere Priorität ist es, zusätzliche saubere und komfortable Unterkünfte zur Verfügung stellen. Alle Annehmlichkeiten sind enthalten, um Ihren Aufenthalt zu einem erholsamen und unvergesslichen Erlebnis sowie Internetzugang ~ WiFi zu machen. Die Kabine ist auf drei bewaldeten Morgen, die beide Seiten des Baches umfassen. Ein Wanderweg führt entlang der Rückseite des Gebäudes und verläuft parallel zum Bach. Dieser Weg ist für Walking oder Wandern und sorgt für einfache erkunden den ganzen Weg in die Gemeinde Park, wo zwei Bäche konvergieren mit kleinen Wasserfällen. Great peaceful getaway!

Home was clean, extremely well-equipped, and so comfortable! Host was so accommodating and available. Place is perfect for a quiet getaway, but close enough to town to visit. Creek is soothing, fire pit is great! Can’t say enough positives! This is our second visit & we look forward to our next!

Best vacation ever!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The place is beautiful, clean, cozy, peaceful, and equipped to the little details. We enjoyed it to the max and can't wait to go back. Nothing better that staying in the cabin to relax and disconnect from the city. It is also close to very interesting points such as as Great Smoky Mountains, Ruby Falls, Rocky City, Murphy. Can't wait to go back!

Peaceful mountain getaway

Our family of 5 had an amazing vacation at this very peaceful cabin. We were looking for a place that was away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy areas and we found that with this cabin. We brought groceries and the cabin had all of the kitchen necessities to make our own meals so we didn’t have to eat out often. The cabin is centrally located and we were able to visit/hike Helen GA and Blue Ridge GA as well as Murphy NC. Communication with the owner was easy and they always responded quickly.

Perfect & Cozy

Great cabin for families with little kids. Clean, confortable, very well located. Beautiful secluded setting, amazing creek. Our 3 and 13 year old loved it. We explored and hiked around every day. Very well stocked with books, movies, board games and even toys for the little ones. Very close to hiking, wild water, Murphy and the Blue Ridge Railways and Horse Backriding. Thanks Dave for sharing your amazing cabin with us!!

A Wonderful Retreat!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for four nights. We found the cabin to be comfortable and cozy and extremely private which we really enjoyed. Coming this time of the year, we really enjoyed the fall foliage color change and the beautiful weather which was a nice change from the heat and humidity of Florida. There are many activities in the area or one can just enjoy the solitude, peace and quiet. The owner is a pleasure to work with and ensures that needs are met and questions are answered. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and hope to visit again in the very near future.

Wonderful vacation

This cabin is exceptional. We have stayed in several different locations in North Carolina and this is our favorite and will come back again. The cabin and area is perfect for a week and has all that you need. We loved the creek experience and all that it has to offer. We visited several waterfalls and did some hiking. We drove to Smoky Mt. Natl. Park and although we didn't get very far because of the road closing, we saw beautiful scenery none the less. Stopped in Cherokee and did a little shopping.We had dinner one night at Doyles on the hill and it was very good.

Serenity at its Finest!

This home was wonderful! Everything was clean, organized, and I cannot think of one single thing we needed during our stay that wasn’t already there! Our family played in the creek, hiked, and went on many adventures. I honestly have never been to a place that was this peaceful. Within a short drive we’re checked out several cute towns. The Permisson Creek Trout Pond was awesome! We also visited several nearby parks where the kids swam. I’m not sure which I enjoyed more, spending time with my family, or relaxing at the beginning and ending of each day listening to the creek!

What a treat!

This home is beautiful! On a whim, we chose a mountain vacation in a mountain retreat. The Persimmon Creek Cabin is just as advertised. The home was spotless and well-appointed. Dave — the host — thought of everything! The bed and the furniture are so comfortable you may not want to leave the cabin but then you'd miss the babbling creek right off the deck, the wooded property, and the cozy fire pit. After long days of hiking and exploring in the area, the home welcomes you back and helps you rest up for the next day's adventures. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Cabin is comfortable and easy to live in. Towels are great. View is lovely. Kitchen seemed well stocked, though we didn't cook!There's a road on the other side of the creek, but hardly any traffic, maybe 5 vehicles a day, so didn't bother us.All directions and instructions are easy to follow and host checked in regularly.

Very private cabin on a nice piece of property. Fully stocked with essentials, and very comfortable. Peaceful and remote. Kids enjoyed the toys/games. Fire pit area was amazing, the moss path was a surprising and unique addition. Loved walking around the property and exploring nature and the stream. Host was very responsive and helpful. Not a big deal, but my only suggestion would be to provide trash removal at no cost to renter. Collection site did not show up on google maps and a little confusing to find in the fog based on written directions. Otherwise stay was perfect and well enjoyed.

Excellent 4 day get away

Older but well maintained cabin. Bed is amazing. A bit closer to the access road than the pictures make it seem, but for the most part quiet and cozy. We were there for an anniversary getaway and it served the purpose well. David is a very attentive host and we would stay again.

Awesome stay

Going outside and listening to the creek after a day out adventuring was very relaxing. Beautiful location and the cabin was very well stocked with everything you need. The only recommendation I have would be to have recliners in the living room. That would really make relaxing with the fire awesome.

Excellent experience

Having rented many properties in the Murphy area for years, this was one of the best. Beautiful grounds and creek, spacious and well equipped cabin with lots of windows. Private and very comfortable. About only down aside was that it 20-30 min away from grocery.

We spent over a year searching for the ideal location in this area of the Smoky Mountains and found it here at Persimmon Creek Cabin. The property is 3+/- acres and our creek runs through the middle of the property just below the cabin. Unlike most of the other properties we previewed, it's very private here in that you cannot see any other cabins from here!

This cabin is located in a picturesque community of upscale homes which are spread out with 3-4+ acres of thick woods in between. This provides lots of privacy and solitude yet it's easy to get to and not way out in the boonies.
