ACCOMMODATION

Sea Bliss Penthouse is a comfortable spacious accommodation with an open floor plan and located in the Curacao Ocean Resort. The ***** resort has a private beach situated directly at the lagoon and a large swimming pool with kids pool. The lagoon is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The house reef is in swimming distance from the beach and filled with exotic fishes and corals. On the beach you find palapas (umbrellas) and beach chairs free of charge for your convenience. Curacao Ocean Resort is gated and offers a private parking space for every apartment.

FEATURES

The fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar and living area are one open space which continues in the adjoining balcony for the best outdoor dining. The penthouse is modernly furnished in Caribbean style. Sea Bliss Penthouse features 3 bedrooms. The superior master bedroom can be reached by a staircase in the living room. This bedroom has a king size bed, bed tables, flat screen TV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with shower, double sink and toilet. There is a private roof terrace with beautiful sea view just outside the master bedroom. On the roof terrace are sunbathing beds. The second master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, double sink and toilet. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be put together. The bathroom is connected and has shower, double sink and toilet.

AMENITIES

There is free high speed wireless internet available. The living room features a flat screen TV with cable. The living room features fans and bedrooms have air-conditioning. The master bedroom also features a flat screen. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking top, grill top, refrigerator with ice cubes, dish washing machine, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker (regular small pods) and everything else you need to make a perfect home cooked meal. A washer and dryer are available in an extra storage room. Curacao Ocean Resort is gated and offers a private parking space for each apartment. Cleaning with linen change is included and scheduled halfway your stay when staying 9 nights or longer. Linens are provided including beach towels. The bed is made with a duvet with fresh cover.

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS

Sea Bliss Penthouse is situated within the gated ***** Curacao Ocean Resort and ideally located within walking distance to Mambo Beach. You find lots of entertainment and night life here, like international restaurants, tropical beach bars, a dive shop, a gym and spa, small shops, a casino and the Mambo Beach Boulevard. The Seaquarium and Dolphin Academy are located opposite of the resort where you often see the dolphins jump. Historic Willemstad is only 10 car minutes away. There is a private parking spot reserved for your rental car.

Excellent spot! Walking distance to Mambo Beach but far enough away not to get mixed up in the party scene unless you want to. The private beach is great and the snorkeling right outside of the lagoon was some of the best we saw. Great condo with everything we needed. Very friendly and responsive host. No issues at all. We are planning to stay here again!

This place has a great location next to mambo beach. The pool and private beach are also super nice and the reasons why we were glad we stayed here. However the internet stopped working and it took over 2 days to fix the problem. The host seemed to doubt it wasn’t working when we mentioned it, saying the previous guests didn’t have a problem. The entire place needs a coat of paint. There are marks all over the walls, some of which could be food? Finally there were basic things not provided that one would expect. For example, we were provided bath towels but not wash cloths. The host provided hand towels when asked if they would provide wash cloths. I will say with the issues we had, the host responded fairly quickly.

We’re really happy to hear you loved the location, the pool, and the private beach — those are definitely guest favorites and we’re glad you enjoyed them too. Sorry again about the internet issue. It turned out to be a provider outage, so it was unfortunately out of our hands, and we only heard about it after the first 24 hours on a Sunday. But we pushed the provider until it was fixed as quickly as possible. As for wash cloths — they’re not commonly used or provided standard on the island, but we were happy to bring extra hand towels right away. We appreciate your feedback about the paint as well; it helps us prioritize improvements. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope you had a great time on the island! 🌴✨

Family Vacation

My family had a wonderful vacation in Curacao! There were 6 adults. We walked to Mambo Beach every day and enjoyed that very much. We did an excursion to the caves, swam with the sea turtles, saw the flamingo's and spent time at another beach; it was amazing! The kids did a dune buggy excursion, and they had a blast. The house is exactly as pictured. It was very warm during the day, but once we were up, we were out the rest of the day. If you are concerned about the AC, we used it every night to get ready for dinner and to sleep. We did not go over the allowed usage. The property manager and Jo were excellent with communication and answered my questions very promptly. Thank You for a Wonderful stay! Roxann

Beautiful Location

Lovely condo. Used pool and lagoon every day. Only downside was several lights in the condo were burnt out or didn’t work properly. So was dark inside at night time. Did not know how to use washer as there was no manual. Stove and oven took awhile to figure as well. No manuals there either. Every morning and afternoon we watched the dolphins preform at Dolphin Encounters. That was an extra special treat.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your stay. It is very important to us. Manuals are available in the laundry room between the washer and dryer and in the drawer under the oven and stove. Furthermore there is a local property manager on duty 24/7 for assistance during your stay.

Perfect Location and amenities!

We LOVED the location which was quiet and upscale inside the condo resort. Loved the private beach, pool, coral reef and the free dolphin show every day. The proximity to Mambo Beach and all the restaurants and shops and bars was a HUGE bonus. We fell in love with Olas Y Copas restaurant right next door to the Seaquarium and ate there many times. The condo itself was very nice and spacious. The heat/humidity in August was unbearable all day/night with no A/C in the living/kitchen areas. We could not even enjoy the patio because there was virtually no breeze. The heat was exhausting. It was interesting trying to figure out how to use the appliances. Youtube to the rescue! Overall, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly and the location especially. We are grateful that Jo moved us to this location when our original booking was cancelled a couple weeks prior to our trip. Jacobine was amazingly helpful with so many things including even showing us where the grocery store is!

It was a real pleasure to host Joli and friends. Communication went well and they took good care of the property. For further information: There is no AC in the living room because of very high ceiling (4.5 meters) and the almost always present tropical breeze which cools down this area together with a large ceiling fan. Unfortunately there was a heatwave during Joli's stay.

Fabulous!!

Curacao is a gorgeous island and this condo is ideal! You cannot beat the location nor the views. There is a constant wind, the beds are comfortable, the property is secure, there is a great private beach as well as EASY access to numerous restaurants, shops, dive center, etc. Jo, the property manager, is fantastic and communicative. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars is for the following: There is no air conditioning in the living area, but there is in the 3 bedrooms. The cold air coming from the bedrooms beneath the doors creates condensation w/ the tile floor in the living area and there is a specific path running across the living room where this condensation pools. Twice my sister slipped and fell in this condensation during the week. Thankfully she was not hurt, but it could have ended badly. We had to run towels along the condensation path to prevent slipping and to mop up the water and create a visual reminder of the slippery area. Otherwise we loved the condo and location!!

Thank you kindly for staying at Curacao Ocean Resort Seabliss Penthouse and leaving a review with feedback. We truly appreciate it as it helps us improve our services. The penthouse has very high ceilings which is why there is no AC installed but ceiling fans instead. The penthouse is built to catch to always present trade winds which in combination with the ceiling fans will naturally cool down the living area and kitchen to be comfortable in. If AC is run during the daytime with doors and windows open, it will always create condense due to the temperature difference. We always ask our guests to use the AC units only when using the room. (usually during the night). This way we make our environmental footprint smaller and keep the cost for electricity down and within the included normal usage.

Great family gathering place

The property was very clean and the layout was great for a small family. It was secure, had nice access to restaurants and the beach within a few minutes walk from the condo. Communication with the property was extremely efficient and helpful for any of our needs. Would definitely go back!

Wij hebben ons 40 jarig huwelijk samen met de kinderen tijdens kerst en nieuwjaar op Curaçao gevierd. We hebben met 6 personen genoten van het pent-house. Ideale ruimte met een geweldig terras met uitzicht over de zee. Het dolfinarium tegenover ons verzorgt elke dag diverse shows, die voor ons gratis beschikbaar waren. De ideale ligging naast de stranden en horeca Lion’s Dive, Hemmingway, Chill, MangoBeach etc etc zijn op walking distance. Ook is het resort goed onderhouden en beschikt het over diverse faciliteiten en een eigen Carribean strand incl gratis bedjes. Echt een aanrader. Groetjes van de familie Visser
