"Evelyn's End" ist ein klassisches Strandhaus in Tierra Del Mar, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von einem langen, schönen Strandabschnitt entfernt. Dieses Haus ist perfekt fĂŒr 2 Familien mit gerĂ€umigen Zimmern an jedem Ende des Hauses. Es gibt durchdachte Einrichtung in diesem historischen Haus. Die hintere Terrasse ist gerĂ€umig und bietet viel Platz zum Grillen und um die HĂ€schen und Hirsche der Nachbarschaft zu genießen, die tĂ€glich zu Besuch sind.
Layout-2-Ebene nach Hause. Der Eingang der ersten Ebene verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Wohnzimmer, einen Essbereich, eine KĂŒche und eine hintere Terrasse. Hauptschlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und Vollbad mit Wanne. Schlafzimmer mit mit 2 Doppelbetten. Das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Doppelbett und einen Spielbereich mit Tisch und StĂŒhlen.

Das Dorf Tierra Del Mar ist eine kleine Gemeinde traditioneller StrandhĂ€user, 3 Meilen nördlich von Pacific City entlang der Three Capes Scenic Route. Es gibt mehrere ruhige Gassen mit sowohl historischen HĂŒtten als auch grĂ¶ĂŸeren StrandhĂ€usern, die alle zum direkten Zugang zum Strand fĂŒhren. Alle HĂ€user in Tierra Del Mar sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt. Der Strand hier ist ruhig und lang - StrandlĂ€ufer können stundenlang auf dieser relativ unentdeckten langen Strecke spazieren. Es ist ein guter Ort fĂŒr Strandliebhaber, die hĂ€ufig Achate und japanische Glasposen finden. Das Erholungsgebiet Sandlake Dunes liegt 6 km nördlich.
Dieses Haus ist tierfreundlich fĂŒr ein oder zwei Hunde. Bitte teilen Sie uns mit, ob Sie ein Haustier mitbringen, damit wir die nicht erstattbare GebĂŒhr fĂŒr Haustiere in Höhe von 10 USD pro Nacht (maximal 40 USD pro Haustier) hinzufĂŒgen können. Nur gut erzogene Hunde sind erlaubt. Haustiere sind auf den Möbeln nicht erlaubt und dĂŒrfen nicht unbeaufsichtigt im Haus gelassen werden.

The location was great! The house is older. The living room furniture and beds were comfortable. Not a lot of kitchen countertop if you want to cook. But all the necessary cooking items are there including crockpot (no griddle). Bathrooms are both off the bedrooms, so be mindful of that. We fit eight people and didn't feel cramped. Both bedrooms are quite large. Just be aware that it's more of a rustic-ish cabin. We did get some ant friends by end of week.

Make sure you get the code before you get there!

Overall a comfortable place to stay with easy walking access to the beach. The house is somewhat rustic but comfortable and spacious. We had no cell service at the cottage, and I did not refresh my email prior to crossing the coastal range, so I did not have the code to get in and could not get a hold of anyone to get the code without driving down to Pacific City. I was anticipating a text with the code, but it was sent via email only. This confusion added nearly an hour to our journey as we could not get in or unload the car.The home is spacious. We had plenty of space for everyone, not just in the bedrooms, but also lots of well worn but comfy sofas, and chairs at the dining table. The beds have memory foam toppers that make them comfortable. The pillows could be refreshed as the options were either totally flat or very firm. The house was clean, but there are ants and horseflies - likely just part of being at the beach. Pets are allowed to stay, but the cleaning staff do a good job ensuring there was no odor of prior pets in the house. The beach is about a block walk away, super close and convenient, and the access is for residents and guests of that street only so the road does not fill up with cars.If you are looking for a casual home base to explore the coast with friends or family, this property is a great option.

Better than a hotel stay

House wasnt perfect. See other negative reviews, most are somewhat true. I have a family of eight with a dog, so my choices were limited. Even though the house was older and wasnt luxury, it had a perfect location ( felt like the entire beach was ours) neighborhood and neighbors were nice. And it cost half of what it would have at the nearest hotel. Would stay here again.

Great location and layout

The house is really well set up for multiple families, and the location is great (2-3 minute walk to the beach). The kitchen is adequate, although the counters are very narrow and the fridge door didn't have any rails (so cartons, etc needed to go on shelves in the fridge). But overall it was a great place to stay for my family for almost a week.

Wonderful stay close to the beach

Fabulous accommodation for us and our grown children and spouses. We could walk to the beach every day, we had ample parking there was a deer and rabbits in the yard every day. We had fun visiting in the family room and outside on the deck and had lots of rooms to choose from where to sleep. We would definitely rent again in this lovely area of Tierra Del Mar.

Wonderful Stay & Experience

Kiwanda Coastal Properties is a fabulous company to work with-awesome customer service! We love Evelyn's End, it is a great layout and location out of the crowds. Know that this is an charming old home with some quirks like low water pressure & no dish washer, but the home for us was just what we wanted. Clean, comfortable and well appointed! Easy walk to the beach.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Evelyn's End. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, the fire pit, the wildlife and short walk to the beach. The propane tank appeared to be empty so we didn't BBQ. Also it would have been nice to have a futon or hide-a-bed for children to sleep on. There was plenty of bedding so used the couches.

Perfect!

Clean, charming and comfortable - Evelyn's End was the perfect home base for my stay in Oregon. The beach is a block away and never crowded. Tierra Del Mar is extremely quiet and laid ack but I was also just minutes from any of the usual tourist places.

Filthy House, Lying Property Managers, Crooks

We arrived @ the rental manager office around check-in time, were told cleaners were at the house finishing up. Got to the house, no cleaners, so we thought they must be done. We open the door and find (keep in mind this is during COVID when they tout on their website they double sanitize everything): All dirty sheets still piled on beds Dirty unmopped floors Wet, mildewy bath mats Used towels still hanging from hooks Crusty white stains on bath towels in closet Used, mildewy kitchen sponge still by the sink A sign on the washing machine saying it is broken, doesn’t drain water Cleaners (two teenagers and 1 older woman) arrived 15 min. later with a few squirt bottles and said they would be done in 15 min. Really? You are going to wash all the sheets with a broken washing machine and double sanitize the whole house in 15 minutes? We were skeptical, but went down to the beach to let them work and came back an hour later. They very same dirty sheets that were piled on the beds were now on the beds, floors still not mopped, mildewy bath mats still on the floors (one had been hung over the deck railing to dry -gross), old mildewy kitchen sponge Still by the sink. Did I mention there is no dishwasher so I have to hand wash all the dishes with the mildewy, used sponge they left me...also all the dishes were hand-washed by the people there before us so you better have a lot of faith in someone else’s hand washing skills. Sheets smelled like humans...like actual B.O. and perfume and one set smelled like actual butt. We called to complain and they swore up and down that they had been washed and told us that there was nothing else they could do, but we could “throw everything in the dryer to kill any germs. It’s the same thing.” Are you kidding me? I had rented this house w/ the expectation that I would be able to do laundry while there, but due to the broken washing machine, not only did we have to rewear our dirty, sandy clothes, but we couldn’t even launder the dirty sheets and comforters. They didn’t even contact us ahead of time to notify us about the washer or mention it upon check-in. On our last morning there, two delivery drivers show up to deliver and hook up a new washing machine - the rental company NEVER contacted us to let us know they were coming so we had to forfeit our morning at the beach to let them in, move our things out of the way and hang out while they worked. Never gave back our deposit/agreed refund.

Nice older home, first time staying in a beach house. Couldn't be happier! The house was built in the 1930s so it definitely has an older vibe. The newer added on room was my girl and I's favorite. Great customer service as well. Thanks again!

We loved our relaxing stay at this little home, which is surprisingly spacious. Beds were comfortable. Internet was fast. Home was a very short walk to the beach which was not crowded. Our kids loved watching rabbits and deer that would come through the backyard. We had a very relaxing weekend.
