I am a Vacation rental owner in same area, but family was staying in my house, so I rented this one close by. It does not sleep 6, since only a king and 2 twins, couches are so old we had to help each other up. Kitchen is no where a "full kitchen" 1 skillet, 1 sauce pan, no salt and pepper, agency said due to Covid19, but previous years reviews said same thing. Stove burner is broken and wrong size stand on coil, making very dangerous to use. Food particles still in burner trays and they are very corroded. Drip coffee maker heating plate was so corroded that it was a fire hazard. Only 2 electric outlets in kitchen and 1 is hidden, the other is next to sink and microwave takes up 1 plug. Lifted throw rugs so as not to trip and pile of dirt underneath, front door mat was full of sand. Windows have not been cleaned on outside in years, cobwebs, leaves, dirt are in the outside window frames, Kitchen chairs are extremely uncomfortable (bar in front cuts into thighs) so all meals were eaten at coffee table. Dining table is very unsteady and not easy to get to since couch is blocking it. This house was built in 1953, but has not been taken care off. The only thing it has going for it is couple of blocks to beach. Will be interesting to see what happens when MB Fire Dept starts doing the inspections on VR's. There were some puzzles but small and Star Wars, no games were found and there was a binder with some maps but not identified, just stuck in cabinet with TV and not organized in any way. This house is what gives a bad name to Vacation Rentals, especially at this price. Mine is 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8, across street to beach access and is only a few $$ more per night in summer and weekends. I understand that this house DOES NOT have repeat guest and that is very understandable. The only good thing was working with the agency, when called about the heater thermostat, he was right there to see what could be done, it needed to be replaced. Unlike the title of this house, it is NOT the PERFECT getaway.
