This welcoming coastal cottage is an ideal base for couples, friends and families looking to explore the stunning Solway Coast. At low tide, you can stroll approximately 400 metres along the Beach - just outside your door - to Carsethorn, a charming village with a popular and dog-friendly pub serving food and drinks year-round.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing coastal escape or an active getaway, the area offers something for everyone - from beach walks, cycling and fishing to mountain biking and championship golf. Explore the dramatic Solway coastline, discover hidden coves and charming villages, enjoy stunning sunsets and dark starry skies, or visit nearby castles, cafés, gardens and local attractions. The historic town of Dumfries is just 13.5 miles away, offering independent shops, restaurants and connections to Robert Burns.Overlooking the majestic Solway Coast, this detached three-storey home sits at the end of a peaceful coastal track. The main entrance is level access. From the hallway, step into the spacious open-plan living area, where French doors frame ever-changing sea views. Comfortable seating surrounds a Sky Smart TV, perfect for relaxing evenings, while underfloor heating and a wood burner provide extra warmth and atmosphere during cooler months.
