Other activities in Westward Ho! include horse riding, and shooting a round of golf at the Royal North Devon Golf Course. The picturesque harbour village of Appledore is only 3.5 miles away, where you can wander the winding streets, admire the colourful cottages and enjoy an ice cream from the deli. Families can enjoy multiple activities at The Big Sheep, which is less than 2 miles away. Otherwise, you can visit the RHS Rosemoor and explore this delightful garden, only 12 miles away.


This impressive property, spread over two levels, is wonderfully spacious and offers a splendid selection of indoor and outdoor spaces for you and your guests to unwind and create memorable moments together. The ground floor hosts three reception rooms with comfortable seating, so there is plenty of choice for where guests can mix and mingle. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of the home. In the living area, sink into the plentiful plush seating, catch up on conversations, enjoy playing board games together, or take a moment to admire the incredible coastal vista. The added attraction of a wood burner in the open-plan area creates that snug, wood-crackling ambience that defines cosy winter nights. There is a large kitchen area with all the appliances you need to make preparing family feasts a breeze. Come together to share meals at the long dining table, which has views of the coast. Share a toast and relive the day’s adventure before heading off to the cinema room for a favourite movie. For those seeking some competitive fun, there is also a games room available. The property boasts seven beautifully decorated, bright and generously sized bedrooms – all on the first floor and all are super-kings, with three having a zip-and-link option to be converted to twins, providing flexible sleeping arrangements as you need. All the bedrooms have sleek, contemporary en-suite bathrooms with a WC. Five of the bedrooms have access via patio doors out onto a balcony where you can drink in the sea views in private.


Outside, there is a 60-metre-wide garden, mainly laid to lawn, looking directly out over the Atlantic and the stunning North Devon coastline toward Braunton Burrows, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe. With a patio area featuring garden furniture and loungers, fire up the gas BBQ and enjoy dining alfresco on sunny days. Your four-legged friend is not forgotten, with an exercise field fully fenced and gated, available adjacent to the garden, how's that for convenience. For the opportunity to fully relax, there is a six-seater hot tub to soak in while you enjoy the far-reaching views. Private parking is available for up to twelve cars.
