Willkommen im Chateau Royale! Ein komplett renoviertes Gebäude im Herzen der Innenstadt mit Blick auf die Bayou Teche. Das Bayou Chateau befindet sich neben dem Chateau Royale. Wir mussten uns jeden Tag dieses leere heruntergekommene Gebäude ansehen. Unser Ziel war es, diesen Raum zu kaufen und in einen eleganten Mietpreis umzuwandeln, den unsere Gäste genießen können. Dieses Gebäude wurde als Druckerei, Zahnarztpraxis und Dentallabor sowie als Aufnahme- und Übungsstudio genutzt. Danach ging es leer und wurde erst nach einigen Jahren unterhalten. Diese Unterkunft mit Blick auf den Bayou Teche befindet sich neben der Bouligny Plaza, der Heimat der jährlichen Gumbo Cook-off-Weltmeisterschaft und des jährlichen Sugarcane-Festivals. Der Bauernmarkt, das Food Truck Festival, die nahe gelegenen Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Nachtclubs sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Bringen Sie Ihr Boot oder Kajak mit, um die Bayou zu segeln oder direkt am Ufer zu fischen. Das Chateau Royale verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche aus Edelstahl, 2 Queensize-Betten, 2 Einzelbetten, 2 Whirlpools, Kabel-TV, kostenfreies WLAN, einen Haartrockner, eine Cafébar und vieles mehr. Haustiere sind immer willkommen.

We had a great stay! The VRBO is located in old downtown New Iberia and walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, parks, and museums. The hosts were amazing and attentive when we needed some assistance with the P4. It was surprisingly quiet being located on a street. I would definitely stay again.

Southern Louisiana Charm

We stayed at Chateau Royale over the Thanksgiving holidays to visit family. It came highly recommended to us from our family nearby. The experience was better than great. The chateau is clean and cleverly Cajun style with a giant back patio overlooking the bayou (not the prettiest water but that’s no fault of the chateau). Next time we go to New Iberia we will first check on Chateau Royale’s availability.

Best ever

Second time for a visit. Love the location, the eclectic decor and all the amenities. Great outside deck to sit and watch the bayou float by, walk to restaurants, shops and bars but yet quiet at night. Soft linens, great living area and kitchen, would not stay anywhere else in the bayou country, a true taste of Louisiana.

I absolutely loved this lil place. The decor was adorable and I might’ve taken some pics of the interior for future reference in my new house. The location is great. The owners were very sweet and worked with us on needing an extra day. They own the lil place next to it as well and it’s so cute!! I highly recommend staying here.

We were thrilled with this property! It is conveniently located for exploring Acadian country. The attention to detail in the unit it fabulous! Exactly what we were looking for

Loved our stay at Chateau Royale! Brought our two dogs and they had just as good of a time as we did, maybe better. Plenty of room for all of us. Nice size kitchen where I was able to do some cooking. Beds were comfortable, and appreciated the jetted tubs. We'll be back!

A really lovely peaceful place

A group of us stayed here and at the studio next door on a work trip. Both places were so thoughtfully decorated and furnished and are warm, welcoming and comfortable places to stay. The decks overlooking the serene and beautiful Bayou Teche are an added plus. And it's within easy walking distance from Main Street where there are some good restaurants and shops. We liked it so much we stayed there a second time. Mickey and Tiffany are wonderful and thoughtful hosts - also very warm and welcoming. We really appreciated their attention to detail and efforts to make guests comfortable and welcome.

Simply a fabulous place to stay!

We have stayed at this location one time before and had to cancel due to Covid. We were so excited to come back and bring our family. The unit is so charming and pretty. Truly stocked with everything you could need. The beds are comfy. There is a super cute loft for kids to sleep and hang out. The deck out back over the bayou is beautiful. There is a large table out there to have dinner at and comfy furniture. We all totally relaxed and enjoyed ourselves and the unique things there are to see in the area. Mickey is easy to reach and a very friendly guy. We look forward to returning!

Exceptional!

Chateau Royale is truly unique given the history of the property and located looking out on the Bayou Teche. The Chateau's back porch is one of the highlights of the accomodation and offers a relaxing escape to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine (or 2!). The Chateau itself is decorated in an ecclectic, jazzy, shabby chic kind of style and was very comfortable throughout. Mickey and Tiffany thought of everything that a family could need or want; we lacked nothing! Mickey outdid himself by being so attentive and hospitable and we are very much hoping to return post-haste to Chateau Royale and New Iberia. Being from New Iberia and loving the bayou it has been a dream to own a place on the Bayou. Although we don't live at our rental and don't live on the bayou, for now, we still get to enjoy it. I met my wife as a referral. If you're a guest I can explain. She is an amazing and incredibly hard working woman who after a few months dating and taking her out on my airboat, we were married at the Bass Pro shop in Branson. We both like the outdoors, hunting, fishing, scuba, diving, and repurposing things we find or buy from all over.

This building is less than 2 feet from the Bayou Chateau. Sit on the deck and watch the boats and birds in the Bayou. We have families with kids rent the Chateau Royale and the Grand Parents rent the Bayou Chateau.

Vacation Rentals are completely separated and completely independent, featuring kitchens and other exclusive amenities for families. .Located in the middle of downtown, right on the Bayou!
