Rock is one of Cornwall’s most sought-after coastal spots, known for its relaxed charm, golden sands and incredible food scene. Just a short stroll from the cottage, you’ll find the famous The Mariners, a must-visit pub led by Paul Ainsworth, serving outstanding seasonal dishes right on the waterfront. And of course 4 boys resturant our favorit food in Rock (a must book) .
For something more refined, Restaurant Nathan Outlaw is a short drive away and offers Michelin-starred seafood that’s worth planning ahead for. Closer to home, hop on the quick ferry across the estuary to Padstow, where you can enjoy iconic dining at The Seafood Restaurant by Rick Stein.
Rock itself is perfect for beach lovers and families, with long sandy stretches ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and coastal walks. Golf enthusiasts will love the stunning setting at St Enodoc Golf Club.

The closest and most convenient airport is
Cornwall Airport Newquay – just around 20–30 minutes from Rock by car. It’s the main airport serving Cornwall, with regular domestic flights and seasonal international routes.
From the airport, you can reach Rock via bus to Padstow (approx. 1 hour) followed by a short ferry or taxi journey.

By booking and staying at the property, guests agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in penalties, additional charges, or immediate removal from the premises without refund.
1. Occupancy & Conduct
No parties or events are permitted on the premises.
No unauthorised guests are allowed on the property between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Guests must not loiter or wait by the front entrance of the property.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use. Any violation will result in immediate removal from the property without refund and a fine of £1,800.
2. Security
Guests must not leave the lockbox code visible or on display at any time.
The front door must always be firmly closed after entry or exit.
The front door must be double locked when leaving the property.
Lost keys will incur a charge of £200, and where necessary, up to £1,000 for lock replacement.
Lockouts requiring assistance will incur a £50 call-out fee.
3. Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including the roof terrace and property entrance.
Evidence of smoking or smoke odour inside the property will result in a £1,000 cleaning penalty.
4. Property Care & Cleanliness
Guests are expected to leave the kitchen in a clean and tidy condition.
General cleanliness should be maintained throughout the stay in a respectful manner.
Guests must follow trash disposal instructions as provided during check-in.
Outdoor cushions must be brought inside after use and must not be left in the rain. A £500 cleaning fee will apply if cushions are found wet.
5. Fixtures, Furnishings & Supplies
The property provides refillable toiletries. Missing or damaged bottles (including hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, or dish soap) will incur a charge of £30 per item.
Guests must not remove additional linen or towels beyond what is provided on arrival (duvets, pillows, and four towels per bed: two large and two small). Additional items taken will be charged.
Washing detergent or pods may not be provided due to allergen considerations. Guests should supply their own suitable detergent.
6. Damage & Maintenance
Guests must take care when moving luggage upstairs to avoid damage to walls. Any scuffs or damage may result in repainting charges.
Any damage to the property, furnishings, or fixtures will be charged accordingly.
7. Footwear Policy
Outdoor shoes are not permitted upstairs. Shoes must be left in the kitchen area or by the front entrance.
8. Check-Out Policy
Check-out time is strictly 10:00 AM.
Late check-out will incur a fee of £100 per half hour beyond the agreed time.
Failure to vacate the property promptly may result in removal by security personnel.
9. Enforcement
Failure to comply with any of these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate removal from the property without refund and/or additional penalties as outlined above.
