Das Coco Cottage at Poipu Beach ist ein klassisches Haus im Stil einer Zuckerplantage am sonnigen Südufer von Kauai. Es wurde komplett renoviert und bietet wunderschöne Möbel, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in voller Größe, zwei klimatisierte Schlafzimmer, jedes mit einem Kingsize-Bett, zwei Badezimmer und eine riesige, luftige Veranda, auf der die Insel von ihrer besten Seite lebt . Das Coco Cottage liegt im Herzen von Poipu, nur 30 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt am Ende der Straße, wo Sie Brennecke's Beach und Poipu Beach Park zum Schwimmen, Sonnen, Schnorcheln und Surfen auf Kauai finden. Restaurants, Feinkostläden, Cafés, Surf- und Strandläden und ein Tennisclub sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Kauai ist ein Traumziel mit der berühmten Na Pali Küste an einem Ende der Insel und dem atemberaubenden Waimea Canyon am anderen Ende. This house is exactly what it looks like except even better. It is fully equipped, comfortable, great location. The back deck is so inviting we sat there for many hours. I would definitely stay here again. It is a comfortable walk to the beach and restaurants. Great home.

Charming cottage near Poipu beach!

We loved staying at Coco Cottage, just a short walk to the beach for fun in the sun. The hosts are wonderful, and we absolutely loved this charming place-- especially the lanai and the "oasis" in the backyard-- very lush and beautiful, and relaxing to just wake up and listen to the morning birds. We will definitely return!

One of the Best

We have rented vacation homes all over the world and this was one of the best. It’s located in a touristy area, but is tucked away and private. Everything was extremely clean and well-appointed. Just up the street from Brenneke’s beach where dozens of sea turtles swam in every night to rest.

I stayed here with my family for my brother’s wedding and we had an absolutely wonderful time. This house is stunning and has such a welcoming feeling. Our stay at Coco Cottage was exceptional. The beauty of the property with hidden Gems of Orchids brought peace and relaxation on the lanai.We were very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. Umbrellas and chairs for the beach were also provided. The location is great! It is an easy walk to Poipu beach where we enjoyed watching the turtles. The Hosts were very responsive, welcoming, and have thought of everything for a home away from home. We would come back!!

The Perfect Stay

Just imagine a rainy afternoon on Kauai, sitting on a lanai overlooking a lush, green and orchid filled backyard, reading your book. When the rain stops you walk a block to the beach and see the sunset over the turtles. Really enjoyed our stay in a nice part of the island. Co co cottage was ideally positioned close to the beach and restaurants. The island has lots of chickens. They can be noisy at night and need serious culling.

A perfect stay!

This home is beautiful! We loved taking the beach chairs and cooler down to Poipu beach for picnics using the wagon! They really had everything we needed, and we felt so welcomed. We will stay here again if we come back to Kauai!

As you swing the charming front gate open be prepared to fall in love with this sweet little cottage. We loved Joan and Rick’s charming home! It was cozy and well appointed. Charming and well-equipped cottage very convenient to Poipu Beach Park.

This is a gem of a property! Spacious, bright, airy, great common areas, incredibly well-equipped kitchen. Layout worked well for our family of two couples. Communication with the owners was excellent. Two fabulous beaches, and lounging sea turtles, are an easy walk away; glorious sunsets a block down the road. I recommend it enthusiastically!

Every single thing about this house was Hawaiian perfection. The location is so close to the best beach on the island, we were able to walk there every day. It was spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed! Highly recommend! Worth every penny!

Stunning Prime Location Rental

This is a beautifully updated, thoughtfully designed and decorated rental. The house has a beautiful backyard to enjoy, along with a shaded lanai. We had everything we needed during our stay. Within super close proximity of the beach, and shops this is a fabulous rental.

We've lived on Kauai for over 40 years, and our grandchildren represent the 5th generation raised on the island. Rick's grandparents came to Kauai in the early 1920's; his grandfather was a civil engineer in the sugar plantation industry. We've traveled the world, but can't imagine living anywhere else. Until recently, Rick was a part-owner of Coldwell Banker Makai Properties, a local real estate company, which he sold to Coldwell Banker Island Properties from Maui. Rick is now a broker with CBIP and Joan recently retired after a long career in education.

Some of Rick's fondest memories include learning to swim, body surf, and surf at Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach. We have classic photos of his mother swimming there in the early 1930's. Our own daughters spent their childhoods on these shores. We were thrilled to find this little house for sale in 2016, as we could see the potential for a perfect vacation home. We spent most of 2017 renovating it, and adding all the special touches we would want in our own home.

With the French Doors open to the trade winds, ceiling fans gently turning, birds chirping outside, and the beach just steps away - you'll be in instant vacation mode. The kitchen offers everything you'll need to make a casual snack or turn out a gourmet meal. The king-size beds are of high quality and comfy, and plantation shutters ensure a good night's sleep. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units, giving you the option of a cool retreat on warm nights. The bathrooms are spacious and inviting, and the closets provide plenty of room for your belongings (bathing suit and shorts!). You can enjoy breakfast on the lanai, a run along the coastline, or a sunset picnic at the beach pavilion. We invite you to come, stay, and build special memories of your stay on Kauai.
