Welcome to my home in Stewartby — a charming model village in Bedfordshire designed in the 1920s on garden city principles and known for its calm, tree-lined streets and genuinely peaceful atmosphere. I have set up this well-presented three-bedroom home to work beautifully for up to five guests, whether you are visiting for work, a family break, or a longer stay. I have made sure you have everything you need, including a dedicated workspace, two bathrooms with a private ensuite and rainfall shower in the main bedroom, free off-street parking for two vehicles on the private driveway, and a fully equipped kitchen with a BBQ grill for when the weather is kind. Natural light fills the home throughout, and garden views are visible from several rooms.
My home sits at a very convenient midpoint between Bedford to the north, Cranfield University to the west, and Milton Keynes further south-west, so whether you are here for work, study, or to explore the wider region, you will find it easy to get to where you need to be. I am proud that my guests have left five-star reviews recognising the convenience of the location, the proximity to the local shop, and my commitment to being available and responsive throughout their stay. I reply to messages within the hour and will always be on hand if you need anything, while giving you the space and privacy to enjoy your time here.

A Home to Relax and Unwind
I want every guest who steps through the door to feel immediately at ease, and I think the warm hallway entrance sets exactly the right tone. The living room is centred around a plush leather sofa and a glass-topped coffee table, with bay windows drawing in natural light and framing views of the garden. I have made sure there is a Smart TV for relaxed evenings in, and the easy flow between the living area, kitchen, and dining space means the home feels naturally sociable and unhurried. The kitchen has been stocked to a high standard, with everything you need for a comfortable self-catered stay. In warmer weather I encourage guests to make the most of the BBQ grill. Wine glasses, tea, coffee, and all cooking essentials are provided, so you can settle in from the very first moment. For guests staying on business, the dedicated workspace within bedroom 1 means you can work comfortably without it ever feeling like a hotel. For families and longer stays, the washing machine and drying rack mean you can pack light and not give laundry a second thought. I have also left board games for anyone who fancies a relaxed evening in together.
The Layout
My home is arranged across two levels and has been thoughtfully configured for groups of up to five, with two separate bathrooms meaning mornings run smoothly for everyone.
Living area
The living room is a bright and welcoming space with a plush leather sofa, a glass-topped coffee table, and bay windows that look out over the garden. The Smart TV is ready to use, and the room connects naturally through the warm hallway into the rest of the ground floor.
Kitchen and dining
I have equipped the kitchen with a gas hob, oven, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, and freezer, alongside a refrigerator, dishes and silverware, and all cooking basics. The dining table provides ample space for the whole group to eat together. A BBQ grill is available for outdoor use, and I provide kitchen consumables including tea and coffee, as well as wine glasses.
Bedroom 1 — double bed with ensuite and dedicated workspace: My principal bedroom features a double bed with a carved wooden headboard and fresh white linens. It has a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a rainfall showerhead, and I have also set up a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair within the room — ideal if you are travelling on business or need to work remotely during your stay.

Bedroom 3 — single bed: A cosy single bedroom with a garden outlook and warm striped curtains, perfect for a child or a solo guest travelling as part of a larger group.

Location
Stewartby is a charming model village in Bedfordshire, designed in the 1920s on garden city principles and known for its calm, residential atmosphere and mature, tree-lined streets. I chose to make my home here because it genuinely offers the best of both worlds — a peaceful, unhurried setting with excellent connections to everything around it. A local convenience shop is within easy reach, making it simple to pick up everyday essentials without needing to drive. My guests have specifically mentioned this in their reviews as something they really appreciated during their stays.
Bedford, the regional market town, lies a short distance to the north and offers a full range of shops, restaurants, cafes, and leisure facilities along the banks of the River Great Ouse. Cranfield University, an internationally renowned postgraduate institution with particular strengths in engineering and aerospace, is a short drive to the west — something that makes my home especially popular with visiting academics, students, delegates, and professionals connected to the university. The city of Milton Keynes lies a little further south-west, offering extensive retail, dining, and entertainment for a day or evening out. Woburn Safari Park is also within easy reach for those looking for something more adventurous.
Getting around is easy by both car and train. My home is approximately a 12-minute walk from Stewartby train station, which runs regular hourly services throughout the day. Bedford town centre is approximately 10 minutes by car or approximately 14 minutes by train. Stewartby station serves Bedford, Bletchley, and London, with London St Pancras International reachable in approximately 50 minutes by train. Cranfield University is approximately 12 minutes by car, and Milton Keynes city centre is approximately 20 minutes by car. Free off-street parking for 2 vehicles is available at my property, with no need to book in advance.
