Step into a modern two-level home where a key card by the entrance powers the house and activates the alarm system when removed, keeping everything simple and secure. The ground floor unfolds into an open-plan kitchen and living area with a dining table for six and a 65'' smart TV, creating a bright social hub for cooking, watching films and relaxing together. Just off this space, a ground-floor bedroom offers its own bathroom with a double sink, a smart mirror that lights up, clears steam and plays music via Bluetooth, a wardrobe, a TV, and a window looking out toward the garage.

A staircase leads to the first floor, where two further bedrooms welcome guests. The bedroom on the left includes a wardrobe, its own balcony and a private bathroom with a shower, while the bedroom on the right enjoys a larger balcony-terrace shaded by a pergola, along with its own wardrobe and bathroom with a shower. All bedroom TVs are smart, so guests can stream their favourite content, and cooling throughout the house is provided by air-conditioning units operated by straightforward remote controls. The upstairs bathrooms also have mirrors with touch controls that provide lighting and a demisting function, using the same three-button interface without the Bluetooth audio feature.

From the living room, glass doors open directly to the pool and garden, so indoor and outdoor time blend easily. Outside, a private pool becomes the heart of the day, edged by three sun loungers for unhurried sunbathing. The garden is planted with greenery that softens the space, while a second pergola shelters an outdoor dining table with six seats, perfect for relaxed meals in the shade. Right beside this dining area, a gas barbecue is ready for easy grilling, and the garage area sits close by, completing the practical layout of the grounds.

The villa’s systems are designed for straightforward use: guests cool the house with the air-conditioning remotes, and three touch buttons on each bathroom mirror manage the light and demisting functions, with the added Bluetooth music feature reserved for the ground-floor bathroom. Outside, there are two security cameras: one is positioned to view the entrance and parking and operates throughout each stay unless guests ask for it to be switched off, and the other faces the pool area but is used only during the winter months for security, remaining covered by a clearly visible cap during the summer season.

Akrotiri is a coastal peninsula just east of Chania, offering a quieter setting while remaining within easy reach of the old town and harbor. It is composed of small residential villages and open countryside, with several beaches and small bays along the coastline. Guests can easily combine short drives into Chania for sightseeing and dining with relaxed days by the sea.

Across Akrotiri there are local tavernas, cafés, and beach bars, as well as everyday services such as supermarkets, bakeries, and pharmacies in the main villages. The area also includes historic monasteries, viewpoints, and simple walking paths, giving guests modest options for light exploration. Overall, it is a low-key area focused on nature and local life rather than nightlife.

Car Rental: Renting a car is highly recommended to explore the area and nearby attractions. Please ask us first, and we’ll provide you with the best price on the market.

Closest Beach: Kalathas Beach is approximately 10 minutes’ drive (about 6–7 km) from the house.

Chania Town: Chania town and the old harbor are around 15–20 minutes’ drive (approximately 10–12 km) from the house.

Supermarkets and Shops: Local supermarkets, bakeries, and pharmacies on Akrotiri are usually within 5–10 minutes’ drive (up to 5 km) from the house.

Public Transport: Public transportation options are limited in this area, so a car is the best way to get around.

Closest Airport: Chania International Airport (Ioannis Daskalogiannis) is about 10–15 minutes’ drive (roughly 7–10 km) from the house.
