Family Holiday Cottage Opposite Trevone Beach

THE PROPERTY

Nellore is a large 4 bedroom holiday home situated directly above Trevone’s stunning sandy bay.

As one of the closest properties in Trevone to the beach, it is perfect for family holidays. With easy access on to the beach, the youngest and the more mature family members can all visit the beach in just a few minutes with ease.

This self-catering property sleeps 8. The master double bedroom has an ensuite shower room. Upstairs there is a twin room with ensuite toilet and basin with lovely sea views, Downstairs you will find two further twin rooms. One with a basin and the option to link the beds together to make a super king size bed. (Both of these twins can be accessed with no steps/stairs)

There is a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room to seat 8, and a spacious living room. The living room has a large bay window which overlooks the sandy bay, with a sweeping views out to sea, perfect for watching the tide rolling in and out.

The house is well equipped with washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, TV, DVD player, books, games and local information packs.

For families with small children a cot, high chair, children cutlery, bed-side, stairgate, toys, bucket and spades, boogie boards, crabbing equipment is provided in the house to make your holiday easier.

The property is surrounded by a sunny garden, the front lawn area, bordered by hedging is sheltered from sea breezes and provides a safe and secluded space for the children to play.

At the rear, a sheltered patio with outdoor dining for ten is a wonderful sun trap throughout the day and catches the evening sunshine too — perfect for long alfresco meals, sunbathing, or simply soaking up the coastal air. A BBQ is provided for relaxed summer evenings.

THE BEACH AND VILLAGE

The location is exceptional. In under a minute, you can be stepping onto the golden sands of Trevone Bay. This beautiful sandy beach, has a blue flag award and has lifeguards throughout the summer, making it ideal for surfing and bodyboarding.

Just a further 2 minute stroll around the corner brings you to a large rocky beach, with a vast array of rock pools to explore, perfect for crabbing, rock pooling, shell hunting, fishing and snorkelling. This beach has as a beautiful natural sea water swimming pool, refreshed by the incoming tide each day, and is prefect for picturesque wild swims.


There is plenty to keep the family entertained.

THE LOCAL AREA

There are many beautiful walks in the area and with direct access to the coastal path just a few meters from the property, it is possible to walk to other local bays or around the cliffs to Padstow.

Alternatively, you can take the 5 minute drive to the famous harbour fishing town of Padstow, where there are plenty of speciality restaurants (including Rick Steins fish restaurant, bistro & fish and chips), cosy pubs and unique shops.

This is coastal living at its very best — space, comfort and the sea quite literally on your doorstep.

Whether in Summer:
In summer, Nellore, makes family beach holidays easy and simply magical for all generations to enjoy. Why not grab a bucket and spade and a body board for a morning on the sand, pop back up to the house for a spot of lunch in the garden, before grabbing your prawning nets, buckets and perhaps even your snorkel and mask for an afternoon of adventures on the rocky beach.

Or In Winter:
Nellore is also a great place for a winter get away too. Being so close to the sea, it is the perfect location to enjoy the ruggedness of Cornwall in winter, with a spot of winter wave watching from the house or snuggling up with a good book on the window seat, listening to the waves outside. The restaurants in Padstow and the local pubs are open year around, so winter offers the perfect opportunity to take a quiet stroll around the harbour in Padstow and enjoy cosy meals in award winning restaurants and pubs, before returning to the cosiness of Nellore.
