Girardu - Victoria Holiday Home

Girardu, a lovely, traditional gem of a Gozitan farmhouse is located on the outskirts of the capital Victoria within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, banks and places of interest such as the citadel, the fabulous walled city with 360 views of the Island from its ramparts. All the sights of the Island are easily accessed from here either by car or bus and there is on street parking.

Tucked away down a short alley, the gates of Girardu open on to a path and inner courtyard, with external stone steps leading up to a large exterior terrace. On the ground floor there is a large wrap around open plan living room with wood-burning stove, a dining area and the kitchen. There is also a downstairs bathroom. Patio doors lead out to the courtyard and lovely pool area, which is quite unusual to find this close to the city centre. There is also a large stone bbq. Inside, a spiral staircase leads up to the first floor with two twin rooms, a double room and three shower rooms. Beautiful original tiled floors add to the charm of this property. An additional foldaway bed and/or cot can be provided if required.

The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using one and two euro coins.
