The Space:
Cowslip Cottage offers a peaceful countryside retreat set on a quiet family farm near Haverfordwest. Designed with comfort in mind, it is a welcoming base for families, friends or couples who want space to relax and explore Pembrokeshire.
The open plan living area is the heart of the cottage, featuring a well equipped kitchen, which includes an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, De'longhi Dolce Gusto coffee machines, an Airfryer, a washing machine and dishwasher. Plus a spacious dining area and a cosy sitting space with a wood burning stove that creates a warm atmosphere in every season. Large doors open out to the garden and patio, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding fields and fresh country air.
Sleeping up to six guests, the cottage includes a ground floor super king bedroom which can also be made up as a twin with its own en suite walk in shower room. There is also a second downstairs shower room with WC, offering added convenience for groups and families. Upstairs provides a comfortable King size bedroom and a cosy twin room, along with a family bathroom with bath and shower over.
Outside, the private hot tub overlooks peaceful farmland and provides the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The garden offers space for outdoor dining and morning coffee, and there is off road parking for up to four cars.
Guests can enjoy fast WiFi, a smart TV, a dishwasher, washing machine and a selection of books, games and DVDs for relaxed evenings in. One well behaved dog is welcome at this property.

Fenton Home Farm sits in peaceful countryside just outside the small village of Crundale, a short drive from Haverfordwest. Guests can enjoy gentle rural surroundings with open fields, quiet lanes and the feeling of a calm, tucked away setting while still being close to everything they need. Haverfordwest is only a few miles away and offers supermarkets, shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, along with a riverside walk and historic castle ruins.
This location is an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Within a 15 to 25 minute drive you can reach some of the county’s best beaches including Broad Haven, Little Haven, Newgale and Nolton Haven. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers miles of scenic walking, while local attractions such as Picton Castle and Scolton Manor are nearby. St Davids, Britain’s smallest city, is also within easy reach for a day out. It is a relaxed, rural spot that gives guests the best of both worlds, with countryside calm and quick access to the coast and surrounding towns.
Getting Around:
Guests have free parking on site with space for up to 4 cars, making it easy to come and go throughout your stay. There is no EV charger at the property, but chargers can be found in Haverfordwest at several public points including supermarkets and the town centre car parks.
A car is the most convenient way to explore Pembrokeshire, as the cottage is set in a rural location with limited public transport nearby. The nearest bus services run through Haverfordwest, just a short drive away, where you can also connect to trains for access across Wales and beyond. The roads around Crundale and the wider countryside are quiet and scenic, ideal for cycling if you bring bikes with you. Many guests use this spot as a comfortable base to explore beaches, coastal villages and local attractions all within a 15 to 25 minute drive.
Other Things to Note:
There are two additional cottages available on the farm, located very close to Cowslip Cottage. Both have log burners and private hot tubs and are ideal for families or groups looking to stay together while enjoying their own space. Blueberry Cottage offers a super king size bedroom, which can also be made up as a twin with ensuite and one twin bedroom, with family bathroom. Meadow View Cottage has three super king bedrooms and one twin bedroom, with two bathrooms and an ensuite.
Important to Know
- Up to two well behaved dog's over 12 months are welcome. (2nd pet fees apply).
- Please bring your own towel for hot tub use.
- As this is a working farm you may occasionally hear gentle countryside sounds although the cottage remains peaceful and private.
- Biomass heating with a log burning stove is provided and a starter pack is included.
- Some areas have sloped ceilings so please take care.
- The garden is post and rail fencing with boxed wire at the bottom but the top section has no wire.
