One-Bedroom Apartment in Leventina (Alaska Apartment)

Situated in a sunny and panoramic location near Carì, among the peaks of the Leventina Valley, ALASKA APARTMENT is the ideal starting point to discover the natural wonders of the region in every season of the year.



The accommodation, located on the first floor, preserves the authentic charm of mountain tradition, fully reflecting the culture and atmosphere of the area. Upon entering, you are welcomed into a spacious living area composed of an open-plan kitchen — separated from the dining area by a convenient sideboard — and a relaxation area with a double sofa bed and TV (Note: the sofa bed is not made up for your arrival, as we consider it fair for you to use the sofa during non-sleep hours. You will find sheets, pillows, and blankets in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa.) Wooden furnishings and finishes enrich the space, adding warmth and character. The large windows offer simply spectacular views: green valleys dotted with chalet rooftops and a majestic mountain range shaping the horizon. Outside, the sheltered patio, furnished with a stone table, allows you to enjoy pleasant moments outdoors, immersed in the tranquility of nature. The sleeping area includes a double bedroom, intimate and cozy, with practical storage spaces. The apartment also features a functional and comfortable bathroom with a shower, designed to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.



The apartment does not have private parking, but there are shared condominium parking spaces (not assigned) and public parking available nearby.

The apartment is accessible from the street via a staircase which, during the winter season, may be covered with snow. For this reason, a shovel is provided so it can be cleared if necessary. Guests are advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing and to exercise due caution.



Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Carì, a charming village in the Leventina Valley, is immersed in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains, lush forests, and expansive alpine meadows. During the warm season, the numerous trails in the area invite walks and hikes of all levels, offering breathtaking views of the valleys and surrounding peaks. The woods are ideal for picnics, relaxation, and outdoor activities in close contact with nature. In winter, Carì becomes a renowned ski destination, appreciated for its perfectly groomed slopes, suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. In addition to alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing are also available.

Nearby, you will also find natural and cultural attractions of great interest. Lake Ritom, about 26 km away, is a picturesque alpine lake perfect for hiking and boat trips. Monte Pizzo, about 21 km away, offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Alps. In just 20 minutes by car, you reach the famous Piumogna Waterfall, while in about 30 minutes you reach Chironico, known across Europe and internationally as one of the top bouldering destinations. Airolo, about 23 km away, is also easily reachable, famous for its ski slopes, dairy, and local gastronomic specialties. In about an hour by car, you can reach both Lugano and Locarno for a pleasant day of lake, shopping, and culture.



How to arrive:

By car, from the A2 motorway, take the “Faido” exit and follow the signs to Carì. Using GPS, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the apartment.

By train, Faido station offers convenient connections to numerous Swiss locations. From there, take bus No. 119 towards Carì and get off at the “Molare, Campi” stop (23 stops, about 40 minutes). The apartment is about 100 meters away.
