We’re so pleased you loved the peaceful and tranquil setting, the little touches we leave for our guests and, of course, that you found the bed as comfortable as we do! It’s lovely to hear that you took our recommendations and enjoyed a wonderful, wholesome home-cooked-style roast at the Rose & Crown, as well as a mooch around Saffron Walden and the beautiful surrounding area. I’m only sorry that I didn’t personally get the chance to say hello during your stay, although Carrie-Ann thoroughly enjoyed your chats. You were both such respectful and lovely guests, and it was a genuine pleasure having you here. It would be a privilege to welcome you back again whenever you’re ready for another countryside getaway. We’d love to see you again — and hopefully next time I’ll actually get to meet you!
