We loved it – we fell in love with the flat and the views : We really loved the flat – the sea views, the peace and quiet, and how lovely it was The lock on the front door was a bit worn, and it was a bit difficult to open and close.

In the paradise of La Ría Formossa : The views and the location. I’ve given it a 10 because I hope that by the time I return at the end of June, the minor issues will have been sorted out. There’s loads of light coming in, as there are no blinds, and if you don’t like getting up early, you’ll need to wear a sleep mask. The air conditioning needs improving, as it was already hot in May and the unit wasn’t powerful enough to cool the bedroom. On the terrace, you can hear the units from the flats below, which is a nuisance when you’re sitting there; they should move them. They need to leave a broom and dustpan and a mop and bucket, as after four days the areas get dirty and there’s no way to keep the flat clean. These are suggestions to improve the place, which I think is spectacular, and I hope it remains available for many years to come so I can visit more often.
