In the historic center of Como, on Via Lambertenghi, LA PERLA is a simple and welcoming solution for couples or travelers looking for a strategic base in the heart of Como. Ideal for those who want to experience the city on foot, among characteristic alleys, boutiques, typical restaurants, and the lakefront just a few minutes away.

This two-room apartment welcomes guests with a spacious and bright living room, enhanced by two large windows overlooking the street, which provide natural light and the authentic atmosphere of the city center. The kitchen, open to the living room and equipped with everything you need, allows you to comfortably prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner after a day exploring the walled city and the lake. The sofa invites you to relax: the perfect place to read a book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, enjoying a moment of tranquility. The master bedroom, equipped with a large wardrobe, offers a comfortable and functional space to organize your stay. The apartment is completed by a bathroom with shower.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.



The apartment does not have parking available. Guests can easily reach the apartment using the city's public transport or by parking outside the walled city for a fee. Among the closest parking areas are those in Viale Varese and the surrounding area, the Valduce car park, and the Centro Lago car park.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Staying at LA PERLA, you are right in the historic center of Como and can stroll through the cobbled streets, shops, bars, restaurants, churches, and charming squares. In 5 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its wonderful cathedral (which you can see from the apartment) and its Broletto, both worth visiting; Piazza San Fedele, a charming little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous shopping streets; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks outdoors all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city. Right in the apartment's neighborhood, there are several bars and restaurants, such as Rossopomodoro (Neapolitan pizzeria), Il Lughino (vegan restaurant), and Il Cortiletto, a trendy bar very popular for aperitifs.

A 5-minute walk away is Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, where you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous towns on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).

On foot or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park along the picturesque promenade that starts from the Hangar, and Villa Geno along the lakefront of Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno, there is also the funicular station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a panoramic trek towards the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way.



How to get there:

By car, from the A9 motorway, take the Como Nord exit and set your GPS: in 5-10 minutes you will reach the closest parking lots to the apartments, from which you can walk to the apartment in a few minutes.

By train, get off at Como S. Giovanni station or Como Lago station, and in just 10 minutes on foot you will reach the apartment.
