Douro Cozy Stay @ Gaia

Ideally located in the heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, this will be the best place to start discovering the wonders around the river Douro and Porto historical charisma.
It's just a subway ride away from Porto city center. The area surrounding the house is also worth a visit, specially the famous Oporto Wine cellars and the Douro river banks overlooking the iconic Ribeira and the D. Luís Bridge.

With 60 sq. meters, in this house you will find a very cozy atmosphere enhanced by the beautiful wooden stairways and authentic stone wall.
It's the absolutely perfect place for couples, families or small groups of friends looking to embrace the Portuguese hospitality. Please note that there are stairs to access the house.

Entrance patio is shared with other residents.

￫ Bedrooms
In the upper floor there's a very roomy and elegant suite with a queen-size bed and air conditioning, while in the lower floor, at basement level, a second bedroom with two single beds and a writing desk.
Please note that the basement areas may be more prone to have some humidity, and related odors, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.

￫ Bathrooms
The house has two bathrooms with shower.

￫ Living/Dining Room
The living room has a flat screen TV, air conditioner, an inviting sofa and a dining table for 4.

￫ Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, kettle and coffee machine (coffee not included). Microwave not available.

￫ Laundry
On the outside of the house, there's a private laundry with washing machine.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 15:00 and check-out must be done until 11:00(am). Before leaving, please place the keys inside the lockbox. Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly utility bills exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- Please confirm your check-in time as soon as possible so we can arrange everything specially for you.
- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.
- Late Check-Out Fee.: Possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.
- Early Check-In Fee.: Possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.


CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bedding Sets and Towels are provided according with the number of guests.
- The Cleaning Fee covers the check-in/check-out cleaning only.
- For longer stays it's possible to arrange extra cleanings (with an additional cost).
- For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linen will be provided.
- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.


OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.
- Children’s High Chair and Baby Crib available by request (extra cost of 25€).
- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbors are prohibited.
- As a city in continuous modernization, renovation works may occur in the vicinity of the building without prior notice. We would also like to remind you that the property is located in a residential building, where conservation or renovation works may take place during your stay.
