Norfolk’s beautiful countryside, everything you need for a memorable stay is right here. Inside, the property features a thoughtfully designed layout, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The open plan kitchen diner offers a cosy space with comfortable seating where you can relax, read, or enjoy a meal together. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for breakfasts, snacks, or evening meals, giving you the freedom to dine in whenever you like. Relax after a day of exploring in the lounge, where you will be welcomed by a large corner sofa with plush cushions and a well appointed armchair.



The living space features patio doors opening onto a large south-facing patio, along with a separate snug room equipped with a TV for relaxing. The Flat Screen TV adds additional entertainment for guests to enjoy during your stay. The home includes five bedrooms, designed for restful sleep with soft linens and comfortable furnishings, accommodating families or groups with ease. All king size beds can be made as twin beds, upon request. This property is easily accessible for guests wishing to use the downstairs bathroom and bedroom.

Just a short distance away, you’ll find Taverham Garden & Craft Centre a local favourite complete with cafés, boutique shops, and a homely atmosphere perfect for an afternoon browse. The Ringland Swan—and with delicious food a great atmosphere. The Norfolk Food Hall and the Goat Shed are an easy, worthwhile drive. The nearby Wensum Valley also offers scenic golf, spa facilities, and peaceful riverside views.



Families often enjoy visiting popular nearby attractions such as Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, BeWILDerwood, or Pensthope, all of which offer fun and engaging days out for children and adults alike. Getting Around:

The nearest major train station to Taverham is Norwich railway station, which is the busiest station in Norfolk. While Taverham is a village, the main public transport hub with a wide range of destinations is located in the city of Norwich. Norwich Train Station has direct services operating to locations across the UK including Great Yarmouth, Liverpool, London, Lowestoft and Sheringham. A number of bus routes operate in Taverham, offering easy access into Norwich city centre. Norwich Airport is also close by, for those travelling from further afield.



Other Things to Note:

Please note whilst our Wi-fi speeds should accommodate most business requirements, we are in a rural location so speeds are limited, 1.24 mbsp for uploads and 12.45 mbps for downloads should be expected.



A few things to please note - for their own safety dogs need to be kept under control when outside, whilst Roundwood House is nestled in private woods, on a large, elevated plot, our neighbour is Wensum Valley Golf Course, whose members may not be expecting dogs on the fairway!



Guests have private access to the entire house and surrounding gardens. However, guest should be aware that on occasions weddings will take place on-site and the bridal party may request access to the front of the house for a short time for photographs



Roundwood House is located within the wider woodland of the Roundwood complex. A unique venue, Roundwood hosts weddings and parties, a campsite, an indoor bowls club, games barn (with table tennis table and giant chess board), fully licensed bar and cafe (with pool table and darts board). Staying here you can make use of both the associated on-site facilities (some of which are seasonal and only open in the summer months), the immediate woodlands and its native animals such as deer and squirrels.
