Just a short walk of several minutes from the apartment are the famous Colorful Stairs, a popular photo spot and a symbolic expression of local street art. Nearby, only a 20-minute walk away, lies Wojciech Bednarski Park, one of the oldest and most scenic parks in Kraków. It is a perfect place for a morning jog, relaxing in nature, or a family picnic. The park features shaded paths and viewpoints offering beautiful panoramas of the city and the Vistula River.

Only 200 meters separate guests from the Allied Airmen Boulevard, a charming promenade along the Vistula River that invites both walking and cycling. While strolling along the boulevard, you can admire views of Kraków’s historic center and Wawel Castle, rent a bicycle, or take a river cruise on the Vistula. In summer, the boulevards are lively, filled with walkers, street artists, and cozy outdoor cafés.

Podgórze is very well connected with the rest of the city — right next to the apartment there are bus and tram stops providing quick access to the Main Market Square and other key points of Kraków. Getting to the Old Town takes only about 25 minutes by public transport, where you can visit, among others, the Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, numerous museums and galleries, and enjoy local specialties in Kraków’s restaurants and cafés.

The nearby Kraków Zabłocie railway station offers convenient connections to surrounding cities as well as to Kraków–Balice Airport.
