This open-plan studio combines the sleeping and living areas in one compact space. It features a double bed (140 x 200 cm), a TV and a small dining table for two. The colourful headboard inspired by Lisbon’s street signs adds a distinctive local touch.

The studio’s entrance opens directly onto the pedestrian street, while the main room also has a window for natural light and ventilation.

The compact kitchenette is equipped for simple meals during your stay, with an electric hob, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee machine and basic kitchenware.

- Bathroom

The private bathroom includes a shower, toilet and sink.

Good to Know

- This is a compact 25m² studio, with the bed, dining area and kitchenette all in the same room.
- The apartment is on the ground floor and the entrance opens directly onto a pedestrian street. There is no building lobby or internal corridor before entering the studio.
- As the entrance is directly connected to the street, occasional pedestrian and neighborhood sounds may be heard.
- There is no air conditioning in the property.
- The main room has one window, so regular airing is recommended to keep the space fresh. As in many historic homes in Alfama, some humidity may be noticeable, particularly during wetter or cooler periods.
- The street is pedestrian-only and cars cannot reach the apartment door. The final approach is on foot.
- Alfama is a hilly neighborhood with uneven cobblestones and steps.
- Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.
- During June, Santos Populares celebrations bring music, street food and a much livelier atmosphere to Alfama, sometimes extending late into the evening.

Of all Lisbon’s neighborhoods, Alfama is the most bewitching. This is the city’s oldest quarter, it’s warren of narrow streets and crooked lanes steeped in history and are a joy to explore with amazing views on the top of Lisbon's highest hill.

Saved only in part from the devastation of the 1755 earthquake, Alfama was the moorish section of the capital. Now, it has the charm, the soul, the atmosphere and the small-town quality you dream about. Renovated homes are great deals and many often come with wonderful river views.

If you're arriving by plane from Aeroporto de Lisboa, there are some options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The cheapest is by far the subway, with a 35-40 minutes ride. The closest subway station (Santa Apolónia) is within a 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment.

￫ Car
If you have a rental car, please notice that there's no free parking in the area and the apartment's street only has pedestrian access.
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get to the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, book our Airport Transfer Service (subject to an extra cost).

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 14:00 and Check-out must be done until 11am.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
