My unique home, in the best part of Marrakech Medina, is the perfect base for exploring this wonderful city. Each level of her riad reveals magnificent interiors filled with treasures hand-picked by herself, set against richly coloured walls that capture golden light throughout the day. An array of disco balls sparkles constantly, adding an unexpected and joyful touch to the atmosphere.
The rooftop terrace is where I found my solace: morning coffee while watching swallows glide overhead, and evenings as the sun sets behind the Atlas Mountains while the call to prayer echoes from every corner of the medina. It truly is the perfect place to stay.
